That's terrible, change Doctor's - to, preferrably, a woman!

kar - Thursday, 29 May
How awful!! You should talk to his secretary to let them know how upset you are...is he always so abrupt? If this is a one off thing, then maybe you can let it go, but if he's always like that, then maybe try switching doctors. Good luck!

How awful! I can't imagine my doctor saying that to me. That is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. I would say something to him about it, or at least tell the office what happened. You should be getting the attention you deserve right now. Hope it works out for you.

Yep, we are having a little girl too! Her name is Abigail Rose. :)

kar - Thursday, 15 May
That's awesome! By the way did you have to pay for the 4D u/s (was is it expensive?) I'm still debating whether to get one.

aselleck26 - Thursday, 15 May

Sonshine1296 - Thursday, 15 May

*emma-jane* - Thursday, 15 May
woo! girl power!

kar - Wednesday, 14 May
Congratulations!!! It's great for your daughter too, having a sister growing up will be good for them both. And you can re-use all of her clothes. It breaks my heart having to put away all of Emmas pretty dresses that she's outgrown.
How have you been feeling?
Although I'm trying not to rush time and enjoy every moment especially the one on one with my daughter, a part of me is already tired of being pregnant! I miss feeling "normal" and especially since my taste buds have been affected by the pregnancy (nothing tastes good now), I can't wait to enjoy food again!

when are you due

mamaharvey - Wednesday, 7 May
Hey! Thanks for the advice, I had no idea what was going on!

kar - Friday, 2 May
I've given up with this weight thing (so far gained 18lbs)...I feel like I'm gaining so much and it's taking what little pleasure I feel in being pregnant away from me. So I've decided that I will no longer weigh my self at home and try not to look at the dr's scale. So unless she makes a remark, I plan to be oblivious of my weight gain (and worry about it after, lol)
I've actually been home in bed this week (today is 1st day back at work) with bronchitis. Not much fun, but finally feel like I've turned the corner and am on my way to recovery. (I've tried logging on to this web site at home, but for some reason couldn't access?!?! so I slept and watched lots of tv). I also had my follow-up u/s yesterday and all is good (fluid levels), I also got to see the baby and it was nice, I saw him(??) moving, waving, I did ask if she could confirm that it was still a boy, but she said that his(??) legs were crossed and she couldn't tell. I hope that your little one will co-operate! But atleast you'll be about 22-23 wks and the baby will be a nice size and you'll be able to see it well!

lea - Thursday, 1 May
I how are you? i agree i wanted to know for the same reasons although some people were shocked i that i didnt want a surprise & let me tell you i am having a boy! its amasing how that changes things. instead of having this ..baby...growing inside you i am now visualising a little boy and getting his room ready. his daddys a pilot so i am painting a 3d plane coming out of the wall. i am having so much fun. good luck girl and let me know what your having xx

Monica1st - Wednesday, 30 April
I saw the posting about it snowing there in Canada. Well here is cheese state wisconsin is still snowing too! I hate it =( So far the warmest day of the week is 45 degrees and we have flurries once or twice during the week. Hope you stay warm!

kar - Monday, 28 April
When will you find out? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that your little one will have it's legs open. My girlfriend had her u/s last week and the little bean refused to open it's legs. She was disappointed 'cause she really wanted to know, and she may not have another u/s.
My back is much better too, but I'm also in the middle of a bad sinus/throat/eye infection, so my main concerns are with my head now!! ( I can't win, if it's not one thing then it's another!). But atleast we're more than half way there...how exciting! But now that the pregnancy is becoming more real now (with the baby kicking and all), I'm also starting to wonder how is my daughter going to deal with a baby? She is the apple of my eye and I wonder how will it be possible for me to love another one as much as I love her?!? It must be all the hormones, 'cause I get all emotional when I start thinking about that. Do you have similar concerns?

kar - Friday, 25 April
How are you feeling? Well I had my dr's appt. and she informed me that it appears to be a male. BUt she made a point of saying that the u/s is not 100%. Well either way I'm just happy that it's doing well so far. (although a small part of me was hoping for another girl....)
Have you found out yet?

nickee - Thursday, 24 April
Thank you very much!
