Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Well My doctor planned on indcuing me whenever I started to show signs I was ready because I have to drive an hour and 30 min to the hospital, and there is no other town closer than that that delievers babies. And my first labor was only 5 hours start to finish, so this one should go faster! But then I also have a tooth problem, a root canal gone bad that now needs major "out you under" surgery, and they cant do it till the baby is out. SO all sorts of reasons really, I will not complain, I am ready to meet my little man! GOod Luck to you!

Hi there. How is your pregnancy going? I personally experienced my first "hot" day or whatever you call it. No one else seemed to be hot but I felt like it was a thousand degrees lol. I feel like a large house too, how is it going for you?

I think probably the best thing you can do to relax about it... Everyone tells horror stories, but if it were really all that bad, they wouldn't have more kids... and I am sure your doctor will help you make the best decisions for you, whether that is a pain free birth, or a natural birth.

kammilea, i also am very scared about birth and I went through that once already. Only thought of epidural comforts me a bit, but I don't know how long it would be until they give me a shot. last time I had no drugs - it was long time ago and in Russia and nobody offered me any pain relief. The closer I get to the due date, the more I think about my past experience and the more I scared. But the comforting though - it is only one day and then it will be over and you will have your baby. So hold on to this thought. Also some women don't have too much pain and for some birth is great experience. maybe you'll be one of them, lucky ones?

Yeah I'm not so sure about being in a sitting position for that long. I get irritated at work when I haven't gotten up for awhile. I'm glad my job isn't real restrictive.
