Here is my sweet pea! Developing lots of brain as you can see. LOL! My DH and I got to hear the heartbeat and everything looks great! I do have a very small fibroid but absolutely nothing to worry about. She said the baby was measuring about 9 weeks, which is further along than they said, but I already figured that out because I knew I ovulated very early. Next week I go back for a regular checkup with the midwife and hopefully get to hear the heartbeat again on the doppler monitor. Today was no m/s at all and I hope this is the beginning of the 'feeling better' stage. With my son, the m/s stopped at 9 weeks, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it's the same with this darling. Unbelievable! It's amazing how God has blessed us with the creation of new life!

Thanks for the encouragment, I just want to start showing so badly! I think my belly fat is covering up my bump. I know it will happen in the next few weeks but for now I still just feel fat. I was reading your page, my baby has "alot of brain" too, my kid looks like he/she is all head, LOL!

My morning sickness seems to be easing up actually. But as soon as I think that I know it will come back...so I just think of these days as "good days". I mostly feel bad in the early morning and in the evening. My pants are getting tighter. I can't wear my jeans buttoned anymore, but I can wear a couple pairs of my dress pants for work. They just start to dig in as the days goes on though. My clothes would be fine if I were standing up all day. So, I am doing good. I go back to the midwife next Thursday.

Hey thanks. I didnt think I would be upset because I had a feeling this might happen. I thought I was prepared but yesterday was a bad day. Its wierd how one day you have all the sympotms, and then the next they are completely gone, just like that, that fast. I think there might be a hormone crash that is assosiated with m/c which is what has got me all emotional. in my rational mind I know the heart was not even beating yet, but im still upset. Oh well life does go on, I just want it over with as quick as possible!!!!

Hi, your US picture is so amazing. It looks like everything is going well with you and the baby and I hope you're right about the m/s and that it stays away! I started on Clomid this cycle, but I never got a positive on the ovulation test....so weird, since I always have gotten one. The only thing I can think is that I ovulated earlier than normal? My Dr assured me that it wouldn't change my ovulation, but I have no idea what happened. It feels like another wasted month! Now I'm wondering if I should take it next month or just forget about it. I will make an appt. with the fertility Dr though and I guess just do what he says. Anyway, glad to hear that everything is going well with you! -Tonya

Ultrasound went well, I was scared to death I must admit! Seen the heartbeat it was 160 the tech pointed out the head and body! Very very relieved, hubby thought I was gonna cry, I am surprised I didn't! According to that I am due Oct. 26 which is a day before my b-day! Monday it's back to the dr. so I will see how my blood work came back anyway, good luck!

I believe that women expecially mother's have a extra sense when it comes to their children. Some women are more in tune with it thatn others, but I believe that when a mom to be states that she feels that she is having a certain sex. Not what she wants or hopes to have, but what she feels that she is right. I knew when I was preggo w/ my son at about 7 weeks, and this one I feel is a girl. Time will tell.

Thanks. Im kinda nervous though. I feel like its too soon to be happy, but I am cautiously excited..Im glad things are going well for you...for the m/s:try buying som REAL gingerale. Not the crappy grocery store stuff. They make some jamacian kind they sell at whole foods. Sip it warm when you start to feel nasueous....it ras to be made with real ginger though, not the extract. Try it out I hope it works!!! I think there is a natural food(organic market) in Winterpark..

It was great seeing your message. I am so so happy your ultrasound went well - that is great you got the heart beat!!! What great news. Definately drink alot of water the night before your blood tests and the morning of. When you are hydrated the needle goes in so much easier (not that it is ever great). But I have been told this by most of the nurses and based on experience it does seem to help. I drink in the evening - get up all night long (LOL)and then about 5 or 6 am start drinking again. Try it and hopefully it works. It so sounds like me the situation you are in with the needle. Best of luck. Well, my ultrasound went well. The doctor on Monday figures I am more like 5 1/2 weeks along then just 5 because my HCG levels are so high. He also like your situation said I must have ovulated earlier in the cycle. They saw the yolk sack but said it was a bit early to see the embroy - although they saw a hazzy spot which is the start. So I am guessing I am now about 6 weeks along. I will be going for another ultrasound on Wednesday a week from today. At that point they should see the embroy - I can't wait for that day - that will be the best thing I have ever seen since my last was the blighted ovum. So, happy things are going well for us both. Next week I will have a better date on when they think I will be due. Did they give you a closer date? Wishing you the very very best!

wow. I can't believe how well you can see your little one in your scan photo. Now im really hoping I can get a scan like that when I get mine done.

Wow! That is a great scan! Did they change your due date?
Just curious was the ultrasound done on the abdomin or transvaginal? I am going to request a scan from the midwife this Thursday. With my OB that I have been going to ... he does one at every visit. This one just does a 'sneak peak' and one at 20 weeks. Later if it is totally necessary.
I hope your m/s is over! Maybe send some of your no m/s vibes my way. :-)

Wow it's so great to see that scan pic, I am 9 weeks on Friday so it gives me an idea of how my baby is looking. I've got my 12 week scan on 9th April, can't wait! Good luck xx
