Kadey's 5 months now and I can't believe how quick these months have gone in. She's such a happy and content baby, smiling and laughing all the time. She's sitting up on her own, rolling about and trying to crawl already. Parenthood is amazing she brings so much joy to our life. Happy days!!!!!!
14th March 2008
Well our little angel arrived 24.02.08 at 0555hrs, I say little but she weighed a staggering 11lbs 22". We've called her Kadey and she's absolutely adorable and so content and alert for her age. She's also been sleeping all night since we got out of hospital. I'm loving being a mum.
I was 12 days over my due date when I was induced. A few complications arose during labour, my cervix wouldn't dilate anymore than7cms,she turned back to back and done the toilet inside me which caused her lot of distress! I had to end up having an emergency ceserean section. The both of us have recovered well though and I would do it all again tomorrow for her. While I was in theatre Jason made the mistake of looking over the curtain....BIG MISTAKE!! He said there were three surgeons pulling and tugging on my stomach, really graphic. I'm surprised he didn't pass out. lol. Well I hope everyone is enjoying their new addition to their family. Wishing everyone all the best for the future. Everyday is going to be an adventure!!!!

Hi all you mums to be!! This site is amazing. I've been checking it out since week 4 of my pregnancy. I'm about 13 weeks now and went for my scan the other day. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!! My little angel was turning somersaults and the images were so clear. What an amazing feeling knowing I've got a little life growing inside me. My partner Jason and I are over the moon. We've been living together for 2 years now and he's my soulmate and best friend.AHHHh!! We're slightly nervous about this pregnancy because we lost a baby in March. I was 11 weeks when it went wrong. I must say though, what a relief getting past 12 weeks and seeing all is well.
Our wee angel!! Check out the hand. Think he/she's sucking thumb!!

7TH AUGUST 2007
Woke up yesterday feeling great but believe me it didn't last long. Within the hour I was throwing up big style. Doctor reckons it should pass by week 14, FINGERS CROSSED!! At least I know all's still well.
We want a surprise when our wee bundle of joy arrives but it's going to be difficult getting prepared. Bought little white socks and vests the other day, they're so cute and tiny. I'll buy mostly white and cream until baby's here. We've decided to do the nursery with an under the sea theme so it'll be suitable for boy or girl. Hopefully it'll look something like pic below!

10TH AUGUST 2007
Miraculously, I've been feeling better today. I've been getting sore heads but don't feel as sick. Turning time I hope. I'll be able to eat healthier at last. I watched a dvd last night about what babies can hear when they are in the womb. It's unbelievable! We've been talking to my tummy all the time anyway but when Jason's nightshift I'll be reading my books out loud so my little one doesn't wonder why it's all gone so quiet. Does that sound weird? lol!!
19TH AUGUST 2007
I'm loving being pregnant. Even though I don't feel 100% I'm still enjoying it to the max. I've been eating quite healthy again and starting to exercise a bit more. Now that the sickness is easing I'll get back to work soon hopefully. My mum and I have been out walking every morning. We've been going to Lochore Meadows, which is only a few miles from my house. It's a lovely country walk which will be ideal for when baby's here too. My legs were sore the last couple of days but I'm sticking with it, I'm fed up sitting around. I'll get back to my swimming soon too. Schools go back on Tuesday so I'll be able to swim in peace without the fear of some kid jumping on my head lol. Hope everyone is enjoying this experience as much as myself. We've got the hospital on Tuesday for my double test. I'm terrified of getting blood taken, who knows what I'll be like giving birth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
23rd AUGUST 2007
Well I went to the hospital to get blood tests done......OH MY GOD, NEVER AGAIN!! I don't know what the nurse done but it was agony! My arm is so badly bruised I just have to share it with everyone!! Believe me that little nurse will never be back near me with her needles . It had to happen days before my cousins wedding too. I've had many blood tests done before and there's only ever been a tiny prick mark. Anyone else been bruised this bad???????

Well that's enough moaning for today, I was just feeling sorry for myself lol. I was at the doctors today for my routine check and all is great. He says I'm measuring quite large for 15weeks which is hardly surprising because everyone is noticing my wee bump. Got to hear my little ones heart beat, beating loud and fast. My doctor's been great, reassuring me every step of the way. We're going to buy a doppler so we can listen anytime we want. Hope everyone is keeping well like myself.
3 January 2008
It's been such a long time since I updated. I'm feeling amazing considering I'm in the final stages. I'm struggling to get comfortable in bed but can't really complain. Never in a million years did I think I'd feel this great. My wee bundle's constantly moving around. Nothing will ever beat the feeling. I'm really excitied about junior coming into this world and so curious to see if it's a boy or girl. Glad I never found out. I've added a little pic of my big bump. That's my wee sister Paula with me, she's hoping for a little girl so she can dress her up in pink fairy dresses.lol!

23 January 08
Well that's me totally organised for the birth of my little one. Finished the nursery the other day, I'm extremely pleased with it. Can't stop going into it and imagining junior in it. I've posted a few pics below! My hospital bag's been packed for weeks now so I'm just relaxing now and patiently waiting on the labour beginning. Feeling good but kicks in the ribs are getting stronger, I'm sure junior's trying to kick it's way out of there lol.

27th January 2008
We babysat for Jake(my friends wee boy)the other week while they moved into their new house. He was a little gem, I just hope my wee ones as content as him. He's been through so much in the first few months of his life. He was born with hole in his diaphram and all his major organs were in the wrong place. This was all picked up during Carlas 19week scan so the hospital was well prepared for his birth. He got out hospital a few weeks ago and everyone is amazed by his progress. He's 16wks now but hasn't put on much weight since birth, hence his feeding tube. One of his lungs won't develop properly for a few months so he's unable to take his required amount of milk orally. He's so strong, alert and gorgeous, here's my most recent picture. Sooooooooooooo cute!!

18th February 2008
Well still no signs of junior making an appearance!!!!!!!! I was at the doctors last week but nothing had changed from previous week. Baby's lying head down but not yet engaged or that. Some days I'm so fed up I could scream, it's soooo frustrating. He or she is getting so strong, kicks were really painful for the first time yesterday. I was so hoping to go into labour on my own so I can stay in the house as long as I can handle. I've got the hospital on Thursday 21st and they'll let me know exactly when I'll be induced. I've been checking out everyones pages and looking at all the photos of the gorgeous wee bundles, hopefully I'll be showing mines off real soon.

OMG, Mya has the same Winky lamb stuffy/rattle. Too cute! Kadey looks so content and happy in this pic. I love the giant stuffy she's leaning against. What is it?
I LOVE this picture. She's too cute. Her and Mya could go swimming together! Demanding little girls! LOL
What a cute outfit! Wow she can even sit up by herself!
Our little ones are growing too quickly.
Kadey looks super cute! I love the high chair by the way, it's much nicer than one's I've seen. It looks like some one likes their paci. Lucky you! Mya won't touch hers, she only sucked on it a few times and that was it.
