Hi everyone,

I'm fairly new to this site... so apologies if I'm not following protocol.

I am looking for support (and so far the ladies on this site are wonderful) and comfort. I am recently married (Feb/09) - we got pregnant on our wedding night. Not really intentional but we were thrilled nonetheless. In May/09 at 13 weeks, we went in for a nuchal translucency ultrasound- I thought it was fairly routine - and discovered our baby had a condition called megacystis (enlarged bladder). We lost the pregnancy shortly after that, though the doctors said it would have likely miscarried at some stage with the condition and the severity. Got pregnant again in August/09, only to lose the baby at 9 weeks.

The whole year has been bittersweet, we thought 2009 was going to be our year, but it's been a year of growing and learning alot about myself & the strength of our relationship. I know I'm stronger now than I was before, but am done proving myself and would just like to get on with having a baby. We are planning to try again when we are ready (lots of emotional healing left to do).
