24 Weeks today and now starting to use this site..not the most technically minded person in the world so will be no bells and whistles just a bit of info.
History: Lived in London 10 years but from Tasmania ( small island, part of Australia...not Africa). Was teaching but disillusioned, left to start own business utilising my passion for food. Been running business 'Cooking with Children' for past 6 years London-wide teaching children and adults in schools about creating with fresh ingredients and have loved it.
Met partner 6 years ago who is a London born musician who composes for music libraries ( Rock mostly if you are interested) and gigs on and off playing bass. Getting married in May ( will be wearing something fitted and whitish) and will be 7 months and my bridesmaid at 6 months!
Tried on and off for 2 years for JB ( just hate saying 'it') when all my friends were having no probs.So were about to start fertility treatment when bang the body said it was the right time!
Have pretty active social life (well not quite so much now but did love a big night out), hectic work life and try hard with upkeep for the 35 year old body. The pregnancy has been rough for the first 3 months but certainly not as bad as for some as it was just constant nausea with no 'follow through' and now physically fine but emotionally a rollercoaster of every type.

I have put a couple of pix of Ella up on this site.. but yeah same as you I prob. wont be using this site well... until I get preggos again...lol.. sheeeshhhh Im keen !! We shall see.... !! Heyy.. I'm doing the top up with the bottle too.. hehe!! only when necessary .. I thought I would get frowned upon for that .. but they did that in hospital and it seems to just really fill her up. Wow... Karen you did have quite a full on delivery .. but how worth it is it ..huh !! How are you feeling now ?? I loove the name Freddie... soo how is the little fella ?? Is he good, does he sleep ? As for my little Ella bella .. she is an absolute delight but a live wire .. she loooves to feed ( too much ) every 2 hours and nights are kinda all over the place she has been up all night, slept 8 hrs straight and up like every 3 - 4 hours which I can handle... guess they only be newbies sooo still figuring it all out !! I look forward to hearing from you .. ohh. yeah Im kinda looking bout 3 months preggos at this point .. lost 12kg already but got a jelly belly.. hehe..guess I ll work on it soon .. not yet though ! :-) Take care XX

Just can't believe it she is finally here in our arms !! ohh yeah .. sheesh.. isnt this site just the greatest for letting you know that you are not alone in your misery! I have really enjoyed it a lot! I just went out and bought the car seat...stupid me should have bought a complete travel system when I went and bought the stroller...oh well...you get smarter later in pregnancy...you have the same thoughts I do! baby daddy will def be doing most of the carrying when we are ogether...which is almost never actually cuz...he has to work his buns of now! haha!

So true! I was at a wedding this weekend and for some reason all the guys felt the need to come up to me and make random "do we need to call the ambulance", "you haven't popped yet", "wow - are you having twins" type comments. The girls left me alone for once, but the guys just wouldn't lay off!

Im not into the whole blue/pink thing..either.. well esp. pink ..kinda really not into PInk..I would rather have my girl in Red or white or even orange :-)
Ohh ..yess dropping is a deffo. good sign, moving in the right direction :-) eeeiii.. the pee is a pain, but not much longer now ! I am sooo uncomfortable these last few days..its just gone that next level... I can only just walk, the babies head feels like its just there..stickin its head out the door..haha..!! So glad I only have 2 sleep s left coz.. it just doesnt feel right at the moment!!! Take care of You..:-)

Hey there :-) Hope you are doing well today !! I loove the Bugaboo bee and the dark Khaki is great suits boy/girl ..ehhh.. parents are good for spoiling ..they love doing it !! uhhh.. yeahh!! names are really tough ..huh! I want something bit different ( not out there )I am hating feeling like I need everyone elses aproval though. I too think I am having a boy .. in fact I will be totally shocked if its a girl ..( wouldnt mind either way ) however, I have baught some blue items .. figured a girl can wear blue anyways !Worst thing is my hub. has known what we are having since 20 week U/S and he just messes with my head .. hehe!! ohh thats a bugger if u go past your due date.. its just frustrating. I did with my 15 yr old son, 2 weeks over ..grrr..!! but it passes :-) Take care of YOU and shall chat soon XX

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that just wants to have my body back! I just read your page, and love what you're doing! Hubby and I both love to play around with food and dream of opening our own restaurant / brew pub someday, although we are far from it at this point. Meals are always an interesting fiasco at our house as we both love to play with our food, but he's a pescatarian (a vegetarian who eats fish & seafood) and I can't stand most vegetables. Needless to say, it can be entertaining and frustrating! Keep me posted as to how things are going with you - this site has been a lifeline for me through my first pregnancy! I really think I would have called the doctor's office once a week if the other girls didn't start talking about things that I was experiencing just when they started happening to me. :)

Yeahh..its really weird.. haha !! coz yuppp.. I get soooo tired I cant even move ..pregnancy truely is a weird one ! Im not thinking about the labour much at all.. coz I guess a C section is all so planned ( dont like thinkin bout the needle in the back though ) I am feeling really anxious about after the birth.. hopeing that I will slip into knowing what to do with babies again.. been soo long for me. So I think I am mainly focusing on getting all sorted at home as a distraction and hehe..me too driving my hub and 15 yr old insane.. hehe!! I think they think I have officially gone temp. mad !! ohh do take a pic of your nursery .. let me know so I can check out :-) ohh and did you end up getting the Bugaboo ?? which did you choose ??

LOL... bag of cherry ripes..thats awesome !! Im into the Sniker Bars.. yummm!!Yeahhh.. the pram dilema is a biggie coz they dont come cheap and u will be using it alot, I looove the Bugaboos coz like u said they are so light and look soo cool.. the Quinny are quite good too... Have u looked at them ? and nahh.. I think its good u are distracting yourself with prams ect. coz sheeshh.. these last few weeks are just draggin on and on..my babe is still lodged in my ribs..haha.. but yippeeee ..16 day s to go... Hey there... nice to hear from you :-) How have you been ?? Thx for the comments on my nursery ..its so much fun getting all done !! Yeahh... sheeshh.. took me ages to decide on the pram..the one I got is the Cameleon my main concern was weight and easy to put up and down .. and this I found was super easy and really is soooo light..only problem is that it doesnt fold away as a whole .. frame is seperate to the bassinet part.. if you know how i mean.. I travel a fair bit too ... and i figured when I go overseas i will get one of them cheap fold away strollers. .. just to travel with.

Hey Brisbane will be good .. its a nice city with good climate and I totally agree bringing up Kids in AU is a major plus, I can never imagine bringing up a child in Europe after living here for so long.. sometimes I think Aussies take Australia for granted ..compared to the rest of the world AU has it all ...and that's why I love it !

I do consider myself as an Australian and I just looove it here !! I see you are orig. from Tasmania.. Tassie is a beautiful place ,hub and I used to go there quite regularly. Do you ever get homesick at all ? Your folks must love the fact that you are returning home esp. with a baby in hand :-) Mine hate the fact that Im still over here..hehe!! Hey there... I wish I can help you with some sleeping sugestions.. but .. uhh...I got none !! just thought i would come and sympathise with you as I know exactly how you mean .. I just can't sleep, can't get comfortable..the only thing I try to do is totally exhaust myslelf b4 hitting the sack..soo.. I dont go to bed until Im really really tired...and at the end of the day my consolation is knowing that in a few weeks we are goin to meet this little bundle of Joy thats keepin us awake and hahahaha.. will continue to do so !!!
