Oh good - glad to hear everything was fine. It is always reassuring to be checked though! I wish I had a u/s machine at home sometimes.....lol! At my hospital u/s the other day my husband asked if any of the pregnant staff use the machine and the Dr said that the women usually check out their babies on a daily basis with the machine at the end of the day - LOL! I would so do that too if I were them. :0)

I have! I got really upset about it last night. But then I went to the doc today and his heartbeat was so strong and loud! I think they are just getting bigger with less room. When do you go to the doc next? If you're really worried, they'll see you right away at this point. Will give you peace of mind. I'm sure its fine and just that, no more room to dance. :) We're getting so close!

Hi - saw your message about decreased baby movements this week. I talked to my Dr about this yesterday cause I am always freaking out if Baby Girl goes still for more than 20 minutes. My Dr said that the movements will change (from kicking to more shifting) but that the frequency should be about the same. If you are concerned, drink some juice, relax somewhere quiet and focus on the baby. Count each individual movement. Rule of thumb - if you feel less than 10 movements in an hour call your Dr right away. Chances are everything is fine, but always good to let them know if you are worried. I spoke to my Dr about all this yesterday because I have started to notice that Baby Girl has a quiet day every Wednesday. Sort of worries me. But I think the babies have their own sleep and activity patterns by this stage and if you notice anything unusual with the pattern, even if the kick count is ok, call and report to your care provider. They may want to hook you up to a fetal monitor to check on the baby or do an u/s just to confirm that everything is OK. Good luck!

Aww! I actually skipped this week's appointment but I have one on Monday. How does your doctor measure if you're ahead or not without giving you an ultrasound? He gives me an ultrasound every exam which is where he gets the stats from.
