08/10/2007 -We are going for 3d/4d scan this thursday the 11th oct ..we are so excited as we will find out what we are having ..it will be well worth the money ..its a shame they dont tell us the sex of the baby here ..we have to travel 114 miles to find out

11/10/2007- ITS A GIRL !!!! ...LILY

THE SCAN WENT WELL WE ARE DELIGHTED TO KNOW WHAT WE ARE HAVING ..HOORAY

I am 24 weeks pregnant, my due date is in

28/12/2007-Had 36 week scan today and little lily has decided to to stay in a breech position ..the hospital want me back next week to check on her and see if she has moved. If she is still breech they are going to try and turn her manually ,if that doesn't work it will mean a c section .

07/01/2008=Tomorrow morning i go in to the labour suite to see if they can get lily out of the breech position ,,i am so nervous ..if she is not happy they will take her out tomorrow (scary)...if they cant turn her but she is not distressed they will give me a date for section.

10/01/2008-Baby lily was succesfully turned today by ECV the consultant did a great job ,i was sick but it was worth it ..got to go in next week on 18th to see she is still the right way ..try may try a sweep to try get things started..but all in all its a waiting game :)

Well as you can see its now feb and lily is still not here ..when she comes out i fully intend to have words with her lol !!!

Well the midwife could not do a sweep as my cervix was not dilated !!!!.the good news is that lily is so far down that she should pop out good style when its time .

The midwife did try to stimulate the surrounding areas ..which i appreciated anything was worth a try.

I really hope that lily will come before the 7th thats the induction day .Its my brothers birthday on the 2nd and he was hoping that she would arrive then ..will have to see what happens .

My hormones must be up the left as i have just bought another pram etc as i decided i wanted something that was taller for long walk etc i think i am losing my mind not to mention emptying my bank ..so come on lily arrive !!!!

Hello! So nice to hear from you. My apologies for not emailing sooner, we've been quite busy trying to figure out what our little one is going to do. :)

We went to our Dr. appt. on Thursday and it went really well. Deona's blood pressure was still a little high, but not as bad as last time, but there are still proteins in the urine. Our doctor decided to do a sonogram to check all the baby's vitals and fluid surrounding him, etc. Everything looked fantastic (and he's currently estimated to be 7 lbs 11 oz!), so at this point she says we can wait a bit more before inducing. Our next doctor's appointment is Monday, i'm secretly hoping our Everett decides to come out on Mother's day!!! :). We'll update with new news as soon as we can. Have a great weekend!!!

Yeah, they said infacol to me too. It is ok, but not great, gripe water is the same. Erica is breastfed so can't change her feeds, although I did try cutting out certain foods from my diet but it made no difference. The swimming pool got funny and said Erica had to have had her injections first. Which is rubbish cos the doctor said she didn't and nhs website says they don't need them! So had to get a refund on her lessons. Was annoyed as they even checked with the manager and said as she was only 1 1/2 weeks off it would be fine! grrrr! Will take her to another pool next week. Erica will be going in to her cot in the next week, just waiting for my dad to come and put it up for me! Erica doesn't mind the car seat, she normally nods off when we go out in the car. Glad to hear Lily is well.

Erica is ok, still colicky, but am hoping it will only be for another couple of weeks now. She is getting big, its amazing watching her grow! I can't believe how small she was when I look back at newborn pictures of her! It will be good when Erica is no longer colicky as I will be able to do more with her. If you set her down to play on her mat she crys because her tummy hurts! We are taking her for her first swim today! She loves bath time, so fingers crossed the swimming goes ok as she is starting baby swim lessons too! Hope all is well with you and Lily. How is she sleeping at night? Again, Erica cries when you put her down and curls up in pain because of her tummy. She is getting batter now though, and she is definately worth the hard work!

Wow, amazing...i cant believe Lily is already 10 weeks old!!!! My, how time flies! I bet you're absolutely loving motherhood. Any words of wisdom for the moms- to-be? :) We've recently completed our birthing, nursing, infant care and infant safety classes, we're waiting patiently for another 28 days to go by. It's always so nice to hear from you! Have a great week!!!

Hey girl! How is mommy hood? I went
into pre-term labor on the 8th. I had a placenta abruption...that turned into a blood clot. All that caused a tear in the sac which I lost about 75% of my water. I just got out of the hospital yesterday. Its good to be home. They had to care flight me to a hospital 200 miles away! I'm still on bedrest.... My fluid levels have come back up from a 4.5 to an 8. 12-15 are normal. This pregnacy has not been normal that is fursure..... Hope all is well with you :)

Hey Kat, how's all going?? Cant believe that Lily is alreay a month old.. wow!! Time goes by so quickly, Grace is almost 6 months which is unreal half a year old! Shes doing great T.G. in great form the whole time. She has her scan for her heart the end of the month so P.G. al will go well for her. Poor little lily with the rash, do you think it might be from washing powder/liquid? I know when Nick was small he had a rash over eye but we brought him to a guy and he dealt with skin disorders and it left a few weeks later, hopefully it will ease off for her. Ive new photos added of her in my page. Hope everything else is going well. Chat soon x

Happy first mothers day to you too! Hope you have had a good day with Lily. Mark got a card and a little mummy tatty ted for me from Erica :) How is the infection? I hope its not too painful for you and that it cleas up soon! Its a shame that you missed your night out!Erica was a bit snuffly, but tha has cleared up by itself. I think she is just a bit of a heavy breather (takes after her dad and my mum!), and she even snores sometimes! lol. Aww, a baby on a leap year!! Hope Keilan is well, your uncle must be really pleased! Erica was good again last night, had a feed at 10pm, then 1am then 630am, so we got a good nights sleep!
Poor Lily being colicy. Is she ok now? Mums know best, hey, had loads of good advice from my mum that the midwifes haven't bothered to tell me!
I am still looving being a mum and can't imagine not having Erica! I never really used to be much of a baby person, but having one of your own is so special! She has funny little ways alredy! Hope you and Lily are both well and that your infection clears up soon! Take care x
