08/10/2007 -We are going for 3d/4d scan this thursday the 11th oct ..we are so excited as we will find out what we are having ..it will be well worth the money ..its a shame they dont tell us the sex of the baby here ..we have to travel 114 miles to find out

11/10/2007- ITS A GIRL !!!! ...LILY

THE SCAN WENT WELL WE ARE DELIGHTED TO KNOW WHAT WE ARE HAVING ..HOORAY

I am 24 weeks pregnant, my due date is in

28/12/2007-Had 36 week scan today and little lily has decided to to stay in a breech position ..the hospital want me back next week to check on her and see if she has moved. If she is still breech they are going to try and turn her manually ,if that doesn't work it will mean a c section .

07/01/2008=Tomorrow morning i go in to the labour suite to see if they can get lily out of the breech position ,,i am so nervous ..if she is not happy they will take her out tomorrow (scary)...if they cant turn her but she is not distressed they will give me a date for section.

10/01/2008-Baby lily was succesfully turned today by ECV the consultant did a great job ,i was sick but it was worth it ..got to go in next week on 18th to see she is still the right way ..try may try a sweep to try get things started..but all in all its a waiting game :)

Well as you can see its now feb and lily is still not here ..when she comes out i fully intend to have words with her lol !!!

Well the midwife could not do a sweep as my cervix was not dilated !!!!.the good news is that lily is so far down that she should pop out good style when its time .

The midwife did try to stimulate the surrounding areas ..which i appreciated anything was worth a try.

I really hope that lily will come before the 7th thats the induction day .Its my brothers birthday on the 2nd and he was hoping that she would arrive then ..will have to see what happens .

My hormones must be up the left as i have just bought another pram etc as i decided i wanted something that was taller for long walk etc i think i am losing my mind not to mention emptying my bank ..so come on lily arrive !!!!

congratulations!!! When is baby due? We're ok, I've got a broken arm at the moment. My mum was helping me but 2 weeks after I broke my arm, she broke hers!!! Same bone as well!!

Wow for starters Congratulations its really really brilliant news so happy for you all.. its all meant to happen so dont worry one bit, its great. It must have been real hard for you all saying your goodbyes esp with the news and everything but hopefully the time will fly for you and when Dan gets back you will be over half way there hon fingers crossed x x God im so excited for you!!

All well here went away with Nick and Paddy on an overnight camping trip as we bought a 4 man tent, Grace stayed with Grandparents, we missed her so much. Im just shattered today.. really appreciate my bed now!!

Hey K,

Great to get your message. Its great that lily is crawling.. already imagine.. i know its nearly impossible to be everywhere, we were painting nicks room during the week and Grace made her way to the press under the telly and opened it up and routing away at everything it was real funny though to see her.

I cant believe that Dan is away for so long you poor thing, it must be so hard for you all and poor little Lily will really miss him..

..Is this his first time away since she was born.., well hopefully the time will go quick enough for you all, the first few weeks will be tough.

Keep in touch and let me know how you all are getting along, dont be every stuck for anyone to send a mail to im here if you ever want to have a chat with.

Poor Lily! Glad to hear she is keeping her food down now. I have just started Erica on baby rice at dinner time as she was waking every 2 hours in the night for a feed. I'm gradually building up what I give her, so hopefully she will be sleeping longer at night soon.
I was lucky and never had the baby blues. Its good that your parents are close by for support. I see my mum every day, and she helped out lots after Erica was born. I know what you mean, having a baby and being a mum as well as running a house is tougher than people realise! I hate it when my husband tells me that I don't work! grrr....

I look after Erica 24 hours a day as well as doing all the housework and cooking....I'd say I've got two jobs!! My husband was going to go into the army as military police, but they wouldn't give him time off for the wedding which we had already booked (this was almost 5 years ago now!), so he didn't end up joining!

Hello. Eerica is ok, she has had a really unsettled start and been really grizzly. She has been to the osteopath a few times now and is much better, so hopefully she will start to settle down into a routine now. The last week she has been going down to sleep in her cot instead of sleeping on my chest, which is great as it means I can sleep instead of sat propped up in bed with her on me! Glad to hear Lily is well. Where abouts is your hubby off to? I don't miss being pregnant, I was sick every single day (all day!), up until the last week and I had chronic indigestion, which I'd never had before! I said I would never do it again (when I was in labour!!! lol), but think I would definately like another baby in a couple of years time! I agree, I find that Erica changes every day and I can see her personality developing - a strong willed madam! lol. We are off on our first family holiday to Canada in a few weeks time, can't wait! Have seen a jumperoo (free standing jumper) that I really like for Erica and you can only get it in America, so will cross the border and buy it for her when we ar out there(and its half the price of the jumperoos over here!). Glad to hear you and Lily are well. How are you finding introducing her to solids? got all that still to come!

Hows the driving lessons going.. Good luck with the test etc hope it goes real well. Is it your first time? Its great having your own way of travelling you'r probably wondering how you ever did without a car!!

Hey K, hows all going ta for mge, great to hear from you!! all well here t.G. Well Grace was sick for the past few days and it was v worring her not taking her food and throwing up... They depend on you for everything dont they.. i thought at first it was chicken pox and at this stage i wish she got it over as it like wildfire here at the moment. Nicholas only got them last year n he went through a v hard time. I never got them either so im very anxious about them.... Hows baby lily doing? Time really is flying by so so quickly.
