Im Katrina, and expecting identical twins! They are due on 8/8/08! Nice and easy to remember..

Im 14 weeks pregnant and im so excited! because im having identical twins i get to have alot more scans that a single pregnancy would, or even non-identical twins... in total i have about 12!... my next one is on the 25th February and i cant wait! Im hoping for girls but im pretty sure im having boys, i don't mind either way really, as long as they're healthy!

Well well well... i had my 16 week scan yesterday and was completely shocked when they turned around and said they could see what sex they are! After convincing her i really wanted to know she told me i was having boys! Im so so excited and happy. The twins are also healthy but i have to have scans every 2 weeks to make sure everything is ok and check for problems. I was also told that i am going to be given a cesearean at 36 weeks so my due date is roughly 11th july now! Not tooo long!

Hey everyone!! Just realised i haven't updated my page in a while!...Well, let me think whats happened since 26th Feb. My little ones are kicking me at every possible opportunity! They normally start at about 9pm and carry on all through the night, playing football with my bladder (typical boys!!) and waking me a million times a night. I feel so big lately... and my back has been agony! I've invested in a support belt and support band, hopefully that will ease the pain as its really getting to me, whats it going to be like at 30+ weeks?! I LOVE LOVE looking and my belly at night... i lay on my back and watch it constantly, seeing my belly button moving up and down and random body parts popping out breifly. Its amazing. I've been given LOADS of boys baby clothes my my MIL's friend. So so much stuff, all from Next, Pumpkin Patch, Gap etc. All gorgeous and spotless so im chuffed to bits as its saved me a fortune! Not all newborn either which is fab. I now have more baby clothes than mothercare im sure!... I must have atleast 60 babys grows, from me being addicted to baby shopping, family and friends. Cant complain though, as half of them will be ruined within 5 mins of being on. God i cant wait till they're here. I've been told to have my hospital bag packed from 25weeks - Crazy! I doubt they will come that early but im pretty much sure they will make their appearance early! I've found the pram i want, in John Lewis. You wouldnt believe how difficult it is to find a decent double pram thats suitable from birth!! It was also on display in the shop so i had a fiddle with it. Nice and light but doesnt feel as if its going to fall apart after half an hour of getting it home. Daves mum is getting that for us just after easter. I've had 4 scans now, last one on weds 12th, they have to check every 2 weeks as theres a risk on twin to twin transfusion, basically means one twins greedy and takes all the goodness, and the other gets less and is small. Problem for both of them and the first twin will be too big if he gets too much, and the 2nd will be too small and its likely one wont survive. But so far so good. Everything was good and normal on Weds and they were growing well- didn't keep still though! One of them decided to show off and was kicking me over and over again. I have my next scan on 26th *fetal anonamy* and then the next booked for the 10th april for routine check. Anyway, ive babbled on for long enough now. I will update again soon :) x

2nd April 2008

Hi all, right, where shall i start. I've had my all important fetal anonamy scan -and everything was fine! I saw one of my little boys facial features which was rediculously cute! They checked everything closely, and they are growing well with no signs on twin to twin transfusion which is great! It was also confirmed that they were infact 100% boys! Although i knew that after seeing their little boys bits!! So i now have the names set in stone - callum spencer and jack stewart! Im 22 weeks now and its getting closer and closer and going so quick... i very much doubt i will go full term. Feeling so huge now! Have no stretchmarks as of yet on my belly, just on my boobs and bum which as you can imagine is very attractive!! Lol. I have just been away for the weekend with my fiance to the seaside and has such a great time. I think a change of scene and the sea air did me the world of good as i was up at 7am each morning and setting off for a really busy day. I felt great whilst i was away....Although... I had the most AWFUL indigestion. It was so so painful i couldnt move and just wanted to scream and cry, gaviscon soon sorted that out but i was very careful about what i ate the rest of the time. Oh god, talking about eating - ive got to that stage now where i want to eat everything and anything... if someones eating something or talking about it i HAVE to have it - i think if someone was eating a worm and onion sandwhich id have to have one!! Haha. My next scan is on the 10th and this time im going with my best friend jade, shes so excited! Hmmm, what else is there to tell you? Ive started being kicked ALL the time....and really hard sometimes! (im sure their dad told them to!) Hehe. I just want my little boys here now! But i think ill make the most of being able to sleep through the night for the last few months! I will update soon. x

Hey everyone!!! God, i havent updated this in ages!! Well..... i had a few problems for a while- i had stage one twin to twin transfusion syndrome. This means that one baby had too much fluid and the other had too little, it can be really serious and was the scariest 2 months of my life. I had scans every week in a London hospital and im now SO HAPPY to say the problem has cleared up. God was definately watching over us!! Im 33 weeks today and ive got my cesearean booked for the 15th July...WooHoooo....Only 25 days to go....i am so excited! Im definately done with carrying my huge bump around! I cant believe after months of waiting its all becoming so real and im going to be a mummy in 25days. I have never been so happy and am so thankful ive been given not one, but two babies!! x
