Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Well that is good that your doctor won't let you go over your due date. Too bad you haven't set a date yet though. It is so nice knowing exactly when I need to have everything ready! Of course, I could always go early! I am so ready to have this baby and be able to eat "normal" food again haha! Good luck to you!

aww yay !! I've been having contractions since earrrrly Monday morning. They have not let up at all and finally got more intense yesterday afternoon. I go to my Dr tomorrow so im trying my Best to hold out until then. Not much longer though ! Im ready to meet our daughter =) Hope all goes well with you !

I'm the same as you with strong BHs and lower back pain. Hopefully that's a good sign for us! It also feels like I'm being head-butted in the cervix! At my 32 week appointment she was head down, I go to see the Dr. again on Wednsday, so hopefully things are going in the right direction. Hope you feeling well. Take care.

I thought that I was the only one having the crazy dreams. I had a dream that I had my baby in the bath tub, guessing because that were I go when I start to hurting. I called my doctor and told him what was going on and he asked me what exactly what was going on and I said I don't know but it's looking and I'm looking back. LOL I thought it was so funny I laughed until I woke up. Just though I would share since I'm not the only one having them.

This is soo weird! For a while there I thought I was the only one having dreams that I had my baby then put him back in! I kept waking up and telling my bf that I had "the dream" again. Also Yesterday as I woke up from another dream like that, I came on here and a lot of the girls were saying they had just drreamed the same thing! I always would dream he came out, but he still needed more time in there and then he'd magically disapear back into my belly! lol I wonder why we all have that same type of dream

i actually had diabetes before I got pregnant. It's kinda of a funny story..... Ihave tried to get pregnant for 15 years, went to fertility spec and everything. I found out in July 07 that I was a diabetic and in October they changed my medicine and the doc said "you could get pregnant on this medicine" and I said " yeah right" WELL a month later I was pregnant but I lost that one in January and low and behold I turned up pregnant the very next month. Some medicine huhh? It is very hard because all I want to do is eat sweets. I have to take a shot before each meal and then one at night and one in the morning, so I end up taking between 6-8 shots a day.

in the week of 35 he told me he would do an anmino and if her lungs are ready that next morning have me induced, there isnt much research done and people who do have this icp wait any thing after the 35 36 weeks mark greatly put the chance of death up there and i am not willing to carry this baby this far and lose her over this stupid condition so i had my other two early as well and it turn out great no need for extra medical attention and we were home in 3 days

let me know i would be curious how your early baby is induced and when, the doct told me i would get an amnio sometime in the middle of 35 week and if it is clear the next morning i would go in to have her! good luck i dont know if i could give myself 3 shots a day gee that would test a person

I am also a type 1 diabetic. This is my third child and I have to say that keeping your blood sugars perfect all the time is so not easy, but it is so worth it to have a healthy baby. I will have to have the baby before 39 weeks. I am hoping for a natural labor!
