this is my 2nd pregnancy and im very excited, , and my family and partner where great so im so lucky...im here to meet other expectant mother, that have just found out, iam around 7weeks it would be nice for advise and support....from you all. My baby is due on the20th jan 2008 so it seems so far away but my belly is growing now and, all the back ache etc is kicking in....I cant wait to find out the sex of the baby so i can start buying the correct colour clothes, at present i have been buying cream and white..... Im so addicted to The Baby Channel, watching all the births etc.... Im so glad this site has been made, because i feel, even though i no, im not alone.... and we are all in this together. And we can share alot... I hope to meet some really nice people, and build some great friendships. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE IN YOUR PREGNANCY.......

walking seems to slow them down hun! i went shopping this morning after being in hosp and they almost stopped. now they are every 10 mins followed by 20 mins followed by 10 mins etc..... how crazy! I am hoping that they will speed back up again but at the same time i am hoping for a little relief so i can gt a few hours sleep tonight ready for induction 2moro!

woke up at 3:30am with HORRIFIC period type pains, they came quite regular and so i called the midwife at 5:30am and was asked to come in to be monitered. Got in to hospital at 6am, baby was fine although sleepy lol, so the midwife spent a good hour trying to get her to wake up. Contraction were every 5 minutes and very strong. EARLY LABOUR! Woohooo. The consultant came in and checked over my notes etc and because Eleanor is not much of a mover he decided that they are going to INDUCE ME 2MORO! The midwife tried to do a sweep but my cervix is still closed and so nothing was done. I go in 2moro evening to be induced if nothing happens between now and then. The contractions are still coming 5 minutes apart,lasting 45sec to 1 min! I am so excited yet SO nervous.

A poem, by me...

How exciting it was meant to be, nevermind the happiness and fun

We had taken that decision in life-I was to try to become a Mum!

So ther we started, one month...two months...three

but negative tests and that damn AF was all i got to see

Then it came to a time where enough of this i had

because all that was happening was that month after month i was sad

Now a year has gone by and all i know

is that this world has decided that im not yet to be so

So here we wait for the right time to come

So that we may try again for me to become a Mum!
