I'm 5 days past my due date and while I had the time, I wanted to reflect back on my pregnancy. From the day I found out(Aug 17, 2007) I had just turned 22 a month before that and was very scared. I was a fulltime student, and had just got a new fulltime job! My boyfriend reacted great, I mean of course very surprised but who wouldn't be? It's a life changing event finding out your pregnant! We never pictured outselves with children until we were like 30! My goal was to finish school which I had already been struggling with, but I now have a new goal and that's to be the best mommy a kid could ever ask for! I hardly had ANY morning sickness, I got NO stretch marks, and gained 30 pounds. I went from being so stressed out in the beginning, to being the happiest I have ever been in my life within a few months. I love being pregnant! I never thought I would say that!! My biggest craving was pineapple/fruit. I love fruit! and lately I've been loving soft serve ice cream yummm! The best experience in my pregnancy I would have to say was finding out I'm having a little boy. I wanted a boy and I thank God for him every day! I just pray that he is a healthy and happy little guy! Also, my mom had an amazing baby shower for me, it was such a great experience! I have dreams about what my baby looks like and that I'm holding him. I still can't really picture what it's going to be like holding him for real, and having him home with us! I never knew I could love someone so much before I even met them, but I guess that is why they say there is nothing like a mother's love for their child. My only wish is that he lives a great, healthy, happy, and fulfilling life, and that his father and I are amazing parents. I'm so anxious, and can't wait to see this little life that's been growing inside me for so long! My little one should be here any day and I will finally get to kiss him and tell him how much I love him!!

My name is Katie, I'm 22 years old. I have an amazing boyfriend named Danny. We are expecting our little miracle surprise, *SHAUN RYAN ARSENAULT* On April 16. I work full time at a preschool, and am taking the semester off of school to concentrate on preparing for my little prince to come( then who knows what I'm going to do after that). So far it's been a healthy and great pregnancy, just tired with a few "decent" mood swings (surprised I still have my drivers license with my road rage LOL). I'm so in love with my little boy already, when he kicks it makes me smile every time. I'm so anxious to have him already!! Congrats to all other mommies to be and, good luck!

Went to the OB today, everything looked great! I'm gaining the weight I should be, trying really hard not to give in to my cravings for sweets!! I love hearing my baby's heartbeat, it's the craziest experience knowing there is another little human living inside of me. Before I got pregnant, I never thought of pregnancy the way I do now. It's amazing how this whole process works!! I can't help but to count down the days I get to see my little angel. Finally getting the belly everyone has been waiting for..I was always a late bloomer, but I'm just fine with it! I'm reading my baby books so I am ready for my little bundle of joy. Planning the baby shower for like first week of March, should be exciting. I'm trying my hardest not to get stressed out about everything b/c I feel like it's coming up so quickly. I have to figure out insurance for the baby, and myself seeing that I won't be a full time student, I won't have all the great benefits anymore =( that's it for now!

Well my mood swings have been a lot better lately (knock on wood) and I am learning just to relax and not stress too much over things that I can't get done right then and there. I'm anxious, so anxious to have my little one already!! I can't wait for all the baby shower stuff to be over with as sad as that sounds! My little man kicks me non-stop, I love it. It's still so hard to imagine actually HAVING a baby, and what he's going to look like. I'm so excited. I think we are getting the paint for the room today, a light green color and the "theme" of the room is baby animals. I can't wait to have everything done and get the anticipation over with!! My back is bothering me a lot, being on my feet all day and picking up kids at work does not help I'm sure but I guess I'm going to work my little butt off b/c who knows whats going to happen job wise after I have the baby (another thing I stress). My belly is finally getting big, everyone has been saying I'm so tiny and it's been nice not carrying a lot of weight around, but just this week I am really beginning to feel it!! 10 more weeks can't go by any quicker!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE THERE'S ONLY 59 DAYS LEFT...IT STILL SEEMS UNREAL THAT I'M GOING TO HAVE A BABY SOON!! I GET ANXIETY THINKING ABOUT LABOR AND STUFF BUT IT WILL ALL BE WORTH IT!! EVERYONE KEEPS TELLING ME HOW SMALL I AM, ASKING IF "IM SURE IT'S A GIRL", B/C I'M SO SMALL LOL. THE U/S TECH TOLD ME SHE WAS 110% SURE ITS A BOY, AND I HAVE PICS OF HIS DINGY ON MY FRIDGE SO IT HAD BETTER BE A BOY!! I HAVE BEEN GETTING BH CONTRACTIONS THAT ARE SOMETIMES PAINFUL. I ALSO WAKE UP HOT AND NAUSEOUS SOMETIMES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. THANK GOODNESS ITS NOT THE SUMMER!! OTHER THAN THAT, WORK IS KILLING ME AND WILL BE SURE TO GET A DR.'S NOTE TOMORROW DEMANDING THAT I WORK LESS CUZ I AM TOO WORN OUT!! I HOPE I DIDN'T GAIN MORE WEIGHT, I WAS AT 22 LBS LAST TIME, AND I AM 31 WEEKS NOW. NOT MUCH LONGER AHHHH!! I REALLY CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT MY LITTLE BOY IS GOING TO LOOK LIKE, THE ANTICIPATION IS KILLING ME!!!

So I can't express how excited I am that my last day of work is Friday!! I am SO done with that place, and most of all I'm ready to relax and pamper myself!! I can't believe I only have 19 days until my due date WOW...it's so scary because I have NO idea what to expect. I hope I'm ready. Well, I'm more than ready to meet my little guy, I just am scared of the labor and I am praying that all goes well! All this anticipation and wondering all for this ONE day, it drives me nuts sometimes!! I get anxiety if I think about it long enough! I went to the Dr.s yesterday...Shaun is head down and still has a dingy LOL(I was so worried that I got all this boy stuff and what if it turns out I'm having a girl) but the ultrasound reassured me! NOW I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO GET THIS OVER WITH AND MEET HIM, but I KNOW I WILL BE GOING THE WHOLE WAY, like to April 16th or longer, I just have a feeling.....but I guess we shall see!! I think that's the scary part, is that it could come at any time, and I have NO idea what to expect AHHH!
