Wednesday, 7 May hey were almost at our due date Love78 -
Sunday, 4 May Thanks for the comment. I guess I'll play it by ear. I've still been able to run so far with no problems but know I won't be able to keep that up throughout the whole pregnancy. Typically I'd run for the Am. Lung Assoc., but I know that will be out of the question at week 35. I'll just have to see how it goes. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy! AngiS -
Friday, 2 May Yes, that internal sucked! I did have complications because of my narrow birth canal - - when my daughter decided to come early at 37 weeks, my OB said that she wanted me to try to have it vaginally and I was like "uh, I don't think so - - I'm not prepared for that because I had been told for awhile that I was having a c-section (because of her size)!" Well, I ended up going to 10cm and she got stuck and I had to have an emergency c-section anyway. I didn't realize what a precarious situation it had been at the time, I was just happy that my daughter was okay! Did your OB or MW tell you that you have a narrow birth canal? I've always been really small - - in fact, any doc I've had has had to use the tiniest speculum they have whenever I get an exam. Both my mom and sis have the same problem so I'm guessing it's at least partly genetic? When are you due? tlc -
Friday, 2 May Thanks for the info on the internal exam. I'd rather know going in that it could be painful, than to be shocked by it!!!! mommytoAJ -
Thursday, 1 May I had my doc appt. yesterday. I had my group b test and they also checked my cervix, but it didn't hurt at all and it was over in less than a minute. I'm sorry that you had a different experience. Maybe it was less painful for me because I was dilated at 1 cm and 50% effaced. cali.momma -

Monday, 28 April Guess what? Those freakish veins down yonder are in fact varicose veins. I didn't even have to ask my dr was doing the GB test and took one look and said "oh what have we here" like they were a little present or something LOL! Anyway he also said they "should" go away after the baby is born but the larger ones may not. Come on, it's so disgusting. rabekah -
Sunday, 27 April Ya know it does look like varicose veins now that you mention it. I have an appt tomorrow so I will definitely ask. Besides he's doing the group B strep test anyway so he'll be digging around down there anyway. Thank you very much! maxwellbaby -
