Hello everyone, I `m very excited right now to be in my 10th week...I have my next u/s tomorrow afternoon and I CAN `T WAIT!!!! Hubby n I got to see the little one at 6w6d and hear the heartbeat as well, and it was amazing, so this time should be even better. Am having a HORRIBLE time with m/s today, have had for the last couple of days. And I thought I was doing better this week! Guess not. Am having a hard time keeping down crackers and water. If I `m lucky, I hopefully only have another couple of weeks of m/s to deal with before I `m in my second trimester. I can `t really remember what it was like to feel good and have energy. Went to Walmart last night and had to sit down midway through because I got so dizzy and sick feeling...ugh! Anyway, must get back to work now...good luck all!

Well, we had our u/s on Monday, it was very cool! I was kind of worried at first because the little bean wasn `t moving, but the tech kept jabbing at him (I `m convinced it `s a boy) and suddenly he started flailing around! Bryan was standing beside the bed and he jumped like he was scared, he didn `t know the baby would be moving like that! Somehow in all the madness I `ve managed to LOSE 5 pounds, which is really ridiculous because due to something (water retention?) I already am in maternity clothes. Can `t wear my jeans anymore! Well, I mean I CAN, but I can `t really keep them buttoned. But anyway, the doctor said everything looked good, baby `s heartrate was 158 and my blood pressure and sugar were down, so fingers crossed! Also, they moved my due date up from the 4th to the 1st!

So, here I was thinking, `12 weeks! My morning sickness is going away! Yaaaayyyyy! ` Well, no such luck. I left work this morning (I work on an overnight shift until June, and I work 12 hour shifts. Yuck!) and no sooner had got in my car but I suddenly, DESPERATELY, had to hurl. I barely got the car door open in time! I feel like I `m 7 or 8 weeks again! WHEN DOES IT END!?!?!?!?!?

Hey there~ I saw your msg on the 19 week page about your dr not giving you another scan until week 24. I researched the 4d ultrasounds in my area and was shocked at how cheap they were! You can get one to find out the gender for as cheap as $120!

How very cruel of ur hubby, i hope u tell him how cruel that comment was and to never go there again. I understand the hunger issue lol!!! Stay strong and as calm as possible b/c stress really does effect the baby. Girl leave him at home hungry and either grab it togo or be bold and sit at the bar and eat there--always can get amusing convo having dinner at the bar. Congrats n take care babe ;)

Lol.... I go to Walmart to for noo reason... like 3 times a day.. Now I'm gettin into Target I go and walk around the baby section when I been there countless times.. Maybe cause I just like how cold it feels in there.. I live n cali... so right now its very very hott..

Haha just read your comment about the Friends episode. Let me tell you, do not watch ANY of the 10th season episodes, especially the second disc (if you have the set), that one has the episode where it's thanksgiving and monica finds out they were picked to be adoptive parents. I balled for like an hour lmao.

Oh bless you, so you are typical of a pregnant woman not that it helps much at all lol. I have a virus at the moment which is giving me an upset tummy and I am the opposite way lol. I get heartburn from water, so I just eat thing I don't mind repeating all day lol. I have decided that the weight gain is coming off when i have nipper so I am eating what I want when I want it and worry about the weight gain after lol.
Glad all is going well for you though and keep up the good work as I know it only gets slightly worse lol. Have a good day x

Hi, the dream I always have when I am pregnant and it has happened now 3 times. I dream that my baby just comes out and I look at it and say it is not ready yet and put the baby back in with no problem and it stays there, weird I know.
Dreams of my ex's I have and run off with them and leave my DH in the lurch which I would never do awake anyway lol, how are you beside the weird dreams?

hey i came across your question about when the baby can hear...from what i remember it was right before i hit 20 weeks....if you read the pregnancy week by week it will tell you...thats how i found out!

the dreams...oh yes! i talked to my doc about this. i was having anywhere from horrible nightmares to dirty dreams. both very vivid. she said that it was very normal. she said it is because of the increases in your hormone levels. unfortunately there is not much to be done about it. but you aren't alone!

lol.. yeah thanks for the comment. ive been off the road since i made 4 months... but those four months i had zero patience for stupidity . i chewed out a few people , including my sgt.
one guy at a crash i went to got an earful ,guy was telling me how its was not his fault and all cops are sexist and dont care about people, when it was very obvious it was his fault .. i felt bad after cuz i had never yelled so much in my life :) dont mess with the mood swings .. n e ways i dunno how dispatchers do it honestly i wouldnt be able to to much shit going on at the same time . too many people trying to get on the air and then when you got p.o.'s that are training .. thats the worst .
i dunno if they do it where you live but in miami they let the po's go on a day with dispatchers to see what you guys do all day .. its pretty interesting we get to sit and listen to calls that came in and watch you work with the comps. its def not as easy as people think it is . lots of stress. good luck with pregnancy . nice talking to you .. kit

Awwww, yeh I just bought some neutral coloured sleepsuits and stuff until I knew the sex, then I went pink mad hehe!
Ooooh yeh you could do hehe :-) Have you tried any of the gender predicting quizzes online? Mine all said girl but I though nah, I'm sure I'm having a boy and they at the ultrasound I was expecting them to say boy but they said girl!

Argh, at least moring sickness doesn't usually last tooooo long.
I had my u/s today, they said she deffo looks like a girl, phew! I've bought so much pink stuff!
Awww I like those names :-)
I thought I was having a boy, it was my gut instinct hehe but at the 20 weeks ultrasound when the person said she's a girl I was like 'What did you say?!!' I couldn't believe it, I was really happy tho.
So have you bought anything for your little one yet?

hey congrats on the pregnancy, i am due on october 7th... sorry to hear about your terrible m/s.. I am incredibly lucky, I haven't had a hint of m/s AT ALL... hope i don't curse myself... I seen the baby at 7 weeks 3 days also on u/s and the heartbeat was 150... hope your sonogram makes you smile, it did us... it finally looks like a baby now! I GO BACK ON THE 17TH.
