My name is Kaycie and i am 27. My husband Michael and i have 3 children already and are very excited to be having another baby. i am staying home right now and plan to stay home after the baby is born as well. my husband and i have been married for 3 years and he is the most awesome dad ever! he is so good with our children and i know i dont have to worry about having help when the new baby comes.

Its getting close... and i am getting nervous. i wish i had someone who was here with me that knew what i was going thru. i tell my friends that i am freaked out and all they say is, "oh, you can do it, u have done it already 3 times ..whats one more?" I know it seems that it gets easier, but i actually think it makes it worse, becuase u know what is coming. well just wanted to vent a minute. If i have the baby within the next 4 days its going to be on someones b-day. Today,(3rd) is my step-sisters, tomorrow is my best friends ( who is supposed to be my labor coach and said that if i have it tomorrow she is off duty for the day),the 5th is my step-dad and my uncle Richards b-day, and the 6th is my step sisters daughters b-day. So we will see.

8-10-08

Well yesterday was not a very good day. I started having strong BH contractions early in the day and they kept going thru out the day. I started to get a pressure like feeling with them in the after noon and it kind of freaked me out. I called the dr. and they told me to come in to L&D, but I wanted to wait it out since I hate waiting down there in the beds, plus it would have been so inconvienient for the kids and stuff. So I decided to lay down and see if they go away on their own. I went to bed at about 4 pm and stayed there the rest of the night, i fell asleep so I have no idea what time the pains stopped coming. I do feel better today though. It was weird when the pains were coming because it kind of felt as though the baby was widening my hips already, it felt odd.

7-28-08

Well today i am not feeling too good. i am in a lot of pain and wish that i wasnt in so much pain while being pregnant. if my legs and hips didnt hurt so much i wouldnt mind being pregnant at all. it feels like my whole hips and pelvic area is dislocated and it sucks really bad. i cant hardly walk, but it also hurts to lay or sit so i'm screwed either way. I just hope as the day goes on it will get better, but i know that the heavier the baby gets the more pain it causes me. This is definitely my last baby ( which kind of saddens me). Well as long as the baby is healthy and everything is fine i know that it is worth the pain and it will be over in another couple months.

It's a girl!! i m so glad that my daughter will have a sister. I never had a sister so hopefully she will enjoy having one. Now i will have 2 boys and 2 girls, i think that is perfect. The sonogram looked good and everything was great. The dr. said that its an 80% chance that it's a girl because we couldnt get a full frontal shot. We both could see the girl parts but only the bottom of them, but u could tell that it is a girl. There was no testicals or penis, so its a girl. My husband thought it was a boy and so did everyone else except me. But u never know nature has a way of suprising us sometimes.

7-6-08

Well i go to the dr tomorrow morning to see what the baby is and to make sure that everything is ok. This is the first ultrasound i have had since i was 7 weeks. I pray that everything is ok. The sex really doesnt matter to me as long as everything is healthy. With my last baby i was unable to see what it was because she was transverse until i was 36.5 weeks, then she finally turned. At that time i figured, i waited this long, i can wait another couple of weeks. So i will post tomorrow after i get out of the dr. wish me luck.
