they did an u/s on week 36. she was 6.7lbs +/- a pound..so i guess she could be around 8 lbs right now. best of luck to you and your little one! i still haven't gotten a call back about getting induced next monday..i hope she says to put me in the schedule since she is the one that told me to do it.

i suppose i could but i doubt they would unless they felt i needed one... i have state insurance so they arent to big on doing extras a guess lol... ill ask on my next appt and see what i can get them to do... im hoping she will come this weekend though... Oh my gosh, I hope your induction goes QUICK. I was induced with my last it took 38 hours!! I was induced one other time, it took 12 hours.

That is exactly what they are doing with me. I'm not sure why my doctor is waiting so long, everyone else is getting induced within the next week. My doctor said they'll give me that first one at about 7 pm and if I haven't progressed enough in the morning they'll give me the pitocin. And she said if I haven't gotten far enough by 2 pm, they'll stop the labor and stuff so that I'll be able to rest and eat some food. lol.

Being induced with my 21 month old was WONDERFUL!!!
I am not this time and this is HORRIBLE waiting! Just make sure you get an epidural when they start to give you the pitocin there is NO reason to be in pain! Good luck and enjoy!

Yeah I'm excited but super nervous too. The doctor said my son is in the 90th percentile, and a friend of mine just had a son (11 pounds 15 ounces and 23.5 inches long) so I really don't want him to get that big. LOL. I'm kind of really nervous about the induction though, I'd rather go naturally but I've dilated 2 cm in the last 8 days. My doctor said most likely I'm not going to make it up until my next appointment next wednesday! Good luck with everything.

Hello Mommy to be- How did they decide to induce you, was it b/c he was already 8 pounds or was it something you requested? I'm nervous that my baby boy is big too. Mainly b/c his father was 14 pounds 6 ounces, but my doc hasn't even given me any type of an estimate as to how big he is...

Yes, partly because of the size and I also have a minor tissue problem he is wanting to take care of so I dont have to have more surgery. He can do it all at the same time. My Dr. keeps switching back and forth between allowing me to labor and just doing a csection. I just want to know which to be prepared for and want what is best for the baby.

i have had no complications during this pregnancy like diabetes or high blood pressure. everything has been perfect except his size. and ultrasounds can be wrong up to 10%, so he could be 7lbs 15 oz and that is what my daughter weighed when she was born.
gosh, my brain hurts :)

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH WINE, I hade some a Christmas and I WANT one NOW!!!! I will give it a week and see if i still remember about it. I can't see 1/2 a glass hurting. I CANT WAIT. xoxoxoxo

I've had half a glass here and there only when I really really wanted some, but no more and drank a bunch of water. Over all though I've only had a total of a couple of glasses and still not sure how I feel about it, I guess once in a blue moon with just a little is ok, but no more.

I have had wine throughout my both of my pregnancies and everything is fine. One even two glasses of wine once in a while especially in the later stage of pregnancy is not going to hurt you or the baby. I always make sure I am hydrated if I am going to have a glass since alcohol does dehydrate you a bit. Enjoy!

on valentines day i tried to have some red wine, i mixed it with sparkling red grape juice. i only had a sip or 2 and started to feel sick so i stopped drinking it. i think it may have just been a mental thing though that i thought i was hurting the baby! my dr said it was fine a small glass, but i guess im still paranoid. good luck!

yes i had actually a premaid mojito thing - earlier in pregnancy - couldn't even drink half and I was so wiped lol - so a few sips works good for relaxing!
