Don't put rice cereal in the bottle! Your baby is too young to digest it. Our moms did it and swear that it works, but I've read so many things that say it's a bad thing for your baby. It sounds like your baby is going through a totally normal growth spurt. My baby did at 3 and 5 weeks and ate like crazy. But she's back to normal now. Good luck.

What I do is add formula and breast milk together. Mix up the formula and add some to the bottle then add about two ounces of breastmilk. Don't substitute the water in formula with breast milk. That gives babies a lot of calories. Breast milk is so easily digested by the human body because it is meant for us. Formula is a little harder to digest for babies and in turn sits in their stomachs longer and keeps them full longer.

Its to soon to start to put rice in their cereal. You don;t do that until they are at least 6 months. Maybe you need to start supplementing with formula. THats what I did, however family life and babys need to eat was more than I could keep up with. So that is what the doc suggested try that before you put cereal. Baby is still to young.

Every time I clean it seems papers instantly appear EVERYWHERE. I swear my kids have way too many toys & they don't even play with them all. If I win the lotto I will send you a lady to clean, cook & help with the kids. Wouldn't that be nice? I am so tired. We took the kids for pictures yesterday & we did some of Alayna by herself. She did very well. I wish I wasn't so lazy so I could start exercising. It seems like time was going so slow the last few weeks of our pregnancies but now it is flying by!!

Things are going good - its a lot more difficult than I thought with having Ben working 3rd shift (i feel like a single mom) he's only awake for 3 hours during the day and gets home at 3:30AM - other than that things are going good - had our 2 week check up today and hes gaining weight at 7lbs 6oz and 19" long now! Hes such a little piglet (like his dad!!) - hows andrew doing? did you have your 2 wk check up?

thanks today I got so excited because my boobs were blasting with milk. Even though this is my second baby I didn't breastfeed my first, so this is all new to me. Thanks for the advice and congrats on your 3rd baby. We plan to have one more in two years. Do you think that is to soon? Advice would be great. Good LUck

i totally hear you! i've been getting stronger contractions and at times, close to 3-4 mins apart. Still 2cm dilated. I dont think my baby wants to come out any time soon. Keep your head up though. In time, the our babies will come. Patience is virtue right! haha
