Our baby was a BIG surprise! I am very thankful because I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and my former doctor told me it would be hard for me to get pregnant. (Showed him, didn't I?) We found out on October 17 that we are having a boy! We've named him Zachary Andrew (Zack for short).

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

I don't feel the pains either, though the rib pressure can get uncomfortable. It gets better if I change position though.

We're not circumcising either (if we have a boy) but we refuse to discuss it with anyone because we really don't want to hear all the comments. We won't even talk about it with my husbands family (they are very pro-circumcision). It's annoying though because I have the right to make the decision without being lectured about it.

Hey there Kim, are you the one that mentioned aomthing about the fetal movements the other day ? How is your little one doing? I was very active lastnight and I didn't feel her until after midnight lastnight. SO far only a poke or two today, and I'm starting to get nervous. I think I should go do the kick count. Her most active time is in the evenings. If I don't feel anything soon I should go into L&D.

i don't think anyone has the room to talk about your and your hubby's choice whether or not to circumsize your son... when people ask me that question i tell them... 'it's a personal choice between me and my husband and we'd like to keep it that way' i just don't feel like arguing with people about our choice :)

Thanks for the sling advice!

I bought a nursing bra to wear every day. I got it from Motherhood Maternity store. It was about $12 and it's a sports-bra style. It's very comfortable, and allbeit it's a slight big, I can see myself growing into it in no time. This is coming from someone who hasn't really worn a bra since her 4th month of pregnancy. My friends say I should be ashamed to let myself 'hang and swang' but wearing a bra was constricting.

you should ask the hospital what they will give you. My hospital gives me a new pack of Huggies new born diapers, so no need to pack those and they give a blanket, but i'm bringing a pretty one for my little girl. Two things that are very important to bring are mittens, so your baby doesn't scratch their face in all of their first pictures and your own personal things that will make your stay more comfortable. (shampoo, cond., body wash, comfy jammies)

The open house thing sounds nice, I don't mean to sound like a sour puss, its just I've gone through so much with the pregnancy that I need and actually enjoy so much time to myself. Both of our families are from VA and we live in FL so the good thing is that since I've been put on semi-bedrest, I'm not allowed to fly so the shower had to be postponed til after the baby is born and I can shop (online) for the baby and not have 100 people telling what and what not to buy cause they'll eventually get it. I'm enjoying my peace ;-)

Hey there Kim, I wanted to thank you for your comment, and I'm sure that she is going to be ok. I will be telling her about all the great advice I got on this subject. Thanks again :)

My sister has endometriosis really bad and they thought there was a good chance i did too. (We later found out that I don't) So I know how scary it can be to think that you might never have children. We were so grateful when I got pregnant with my son 5 years ago! Congratulations!!!! Having a boy is so much fun!!!!

I know what you mean. (About the tight belly after eating) And it is even worse when the baby starts turning summersaults. I feel like my insides are being pulled likle taffy!!
