hi i've not had much morning sickness - it only lasted about 2 weeks and when i had my daughter i was sick for the first 5 months. so i've been feelling a lot diferent about this pregnancy. i do have a huge bump on me already tho but i think thats cos its my second. maybe your just one of the lucky ones who are going to breeze through the whole pregnancy. congrats xx

yes, the doctor will say what is what. I am a bigger girl so it will be a while before I get that baby bump. They will probably hear for the heartbeat and 145 to 160 is good for the heartbeat. Make sure that your bladder is really full for the ultrasound so they can see the baby better. They will check your blood pressure and weight. They will also get a uring sample and do a stick test to check the sugar and protein. They will probably tell you it is too early to tell the sex, but they are just checking to make sure that the baby is growing fine. Mine did not move at first, but after he was stimulated, he looked like he was playing drums. I have only a few symptoms like peeing a lot, tired, and out of breath, but those are subtle and not significant. I do forget that I am pregnant. They will probably talk about you getting your blood test to check or neural tube defects on your next visit. I hope that your pregnancy goes well.

hah neil was like that in the beginning. they get over it around 20 weeks :P heh. he still is a little weird about things against my belly tho. like ill lean on the counter, and hes like "YOURE SQUISHING HER!!" hah. im like "feel how hard my stomach is..im SURE shes fine." its rather annoying lol. cus i cant stand for a long time, so i have to lean after a few mins. oh well, itll all be over soon :D thank god. congrats :D make sure hes not marrying you cus of the bebe tho. then its all bad lol. ughhh my stomach is killlling me

Good thanks....Yeh i think we might have hit it off this time...we haven't had sex for about 1 month and then i have been having symptoms like im prego and then i have been urinating A LOT!!! I really hope that i am prego.. this might be it kelli.... I hope so....

i've got my first scan on the 15th so the day after yours but i don't think they will tell you the sex just yet. it will more than likely be at your 20 weeks scan. x

Hi There ! Congrates on your pregnancy !
With my doppler I find the heartbeat when I position it really low, like just above the pubic line. Then move it around really slowly and hold it at a slight angle with the top of the probe towards you (if that makes sense)!! You will probably hear your own heart beat before you hear baby's but I always find it isnt far away from the sound of my own. Since first locating it two weeks ago, the position I now hear it in, is very slightly higher, but still well below belly button level !! I can also hear baby movement in there too which is really bizarre !! Good luck, but dont worry if you dont hear it... Baby could be lying with his/her back to the probe or in a way that makes it hard for you to find. Oh and one other thing... its best to wait 2-3 hours after eating, otherwise everything is too loud in there with digestion going on and its really hard to hear anything at all !!!
