My baby boy is here .

FEB 14th

I gave birth to my gorgeous little boy Alfie on valentines day at 6.42 am. I had a 6 hour labour and he weighed a healthy 8lb 8ounces.

I now have a scan date for the 31st july. I think i should be about 12 weeks then . Feeling great at the moment .No symptoms apart from sore boobs and feeling hungry. when i had my son i felt really sick for the first three months.

JULY 23RD

Just got over a bout of the flu apart from that i am still feeling fine. The only changes are i can,t sleep at night and then i,m exhausted through the day. I am also hungry all of the time but i feel nausious if i eat a big meal. So i am trying to eat small meals about 4 or 5 times a day. I have my scan next Tuesday and i,m going to take my son with me to get him involved. I may get a different due date as my periods were so irregular. He,s so excited and he talks to my tummy. He shares his sweets with me now because he thinks baby wants one . xxx

JULY 31st SCAN

Just got back from my first scan and it was amazing. The baby was very active and heartbeat was strong. I thought i was 12 weeks pregnant but they said i am 11 weeks so my due date is now 19th feb.

OCT 2ND i had my second scan and am very pleased to say that we are having another little boy.

DECEMBER 4th

I cant believe i am almost 7 months pregnant. Time has gone so quickly. I just cant wait to see him now and im wondering what he will look like. Its been an easy pregnancy so far and ive had no sickness , heartburn or anything so i guess im lucky.

ITS A BOY

ONLY 4 WEEKS LEFT.

The weeks are flying by now and im so excited but nervous at the same time. We have everything ready for him now and my labour bag is packed. Got an appointment with my midwife tomorrow and she is going to check his position because when i last saw her she couldnt make out which way he was lying. So if she cant tell tomorrow i might need another scan. Im feeling really well and i dont feel 36 weks pregnant at all. Were having problems deciding on a name but we hve narrowed it down to either Charlie or Harvey.

JAN 22nd

Had my appointment with my midwife and she thinks that he is head down but wasnt 100% sure so im having a scan on Tuesday to make sure. Im excited about seeing him again and im hoping everything is ok.

JAN 29th

I had another scan today to check my babys position . He is head down , very healthy and above average in size. Only 3 weeks left now till my due date , i cant wait to hold my little boy.

Hi Kelly

Im glad your Grease night went well. Does you good to get out now and again doesnt it?
Your new pics are lovely. I cant believe how much he has changed. He looks like he is going to be cheeky. You can really tell he looks like you though!!

Yeah it does make you realise when something terrible like that happens to other people.
I cant imagine what it must be like. I just hope she is ok.

Have you got anything planned for the weekend?

I had a job interview on Monday and they rang me yesterday to tell me i have a second interview on Monday coming so fingers crossed. Its monday to friday but only working 12 - 5 so i still get to spend time with the kids.
I wouldnt be in such a rush to get back to work but we are saving for a house so the quicker we do it the quicker we can get out of here.
Plus it will be nice to go and have some adult conversation ;0
Ill let you know how i get on.

Not got much planned this weekend really.
Got a friend coming round Saturday night for some wine and a chinese which will be nice.
Adam is going out as its his brothers birthday. Sunday we will prob go out for lunch togeher.

Hey! Yes thank goodness he is sleeping well. He doesnt go to sleep til around midnight after his last feeding for the night..but after that..he is good. Alfie is adorable!!! I wish you the best..keep in touch!

Hiya Kel

Had a good night on Friday thanks. Went out with an old work mate and my friend. Was a bit peed of to be honest though cos my old work mate didnt tell me she hadnt brought a penny with her to the pub. She only told me when i picked her up and we caught a taxi to the pub. I had to buy her drinks all night and pay for taxis. I wouldnt mind but she has a good job and still lives at home with her parents so i just think she was looking for a free night. There is no way i would do that if i went out with my mates.
I emailed her the other day as she didnt even thank me and i said to her let me know when u get paid cos ur taking me out next time after all the money i spent.
Apart from that i had a wicked night. Didnt get drunk just a little tipsy. Was strange being out as i havent been out in ages.
That grease night sounds brilliant. Where is that? Will you have to dress up in costume or is just just a grease theme night?
Still havent been to Salsa. Its Thursday night. Ill let you know how it goes.
Do you get out much with the little one? Its a bit more difficult for me now to get out as much as i did. Looking forward to the warmer weather so we can do a few more things.
How you feeling? You get used to not much sleep dont you? I hope Alfie is ok.

I will have to get some more recent pictures up of Ashley. He seems to have grown so much the past few weeks. Its amazing.

I didnt go to Salsa in the end cos when we turned up we found out it didnt start until this week!! Gonna go next week as i havent had five mins to myself lately.

Ashley was last weighed when he was 6 weeks and he was 13 pounds.

He hasnt been weighed since. The health visitor hasnt even been out since he was about 4/5 weeks???

Thats good u have lost 2 stone as well. How did you do that or did it just come off normally?

I have been applying for a few jobs lately as i want to get back into part time work. Need some time to myself as you can go mental with kids all day cant you? :0

AAaww he sleeps well then really doesnt he? Ashley sleeps quite well too but has his moments when he wakes every few hours. I have got used to the lack of sleep now though.

Im going out tomorrow night with some friends for a meal and a drink which im looking forward to as i havent been out in ages. Im going to get quite tipsy i think :0
Adam is great with the kids so i dont mind leaving him for a few hours. In fact Ashley loves his daddy. He never smiles at me only for Adam!!!

Have you been up to much apart from changing nappies??

Im sorry i havent been in touch for a while. Seems like i dont have two minutes to myself nowadays.
How is your gorgeous little Alfie?
Ashley is growing so quickly. He had his first jabs last week but he was great!
Yeah i am rushed off my feet at times but Danni is great and is being mummys little helper. My mom is helping me loads too. When Adam gets in from work he helps out a lot as well. Im quite lucky really.
Have you been up to much?
Ive not been up to much myself. Seems like im forever changing nappies or making bottles up nowadays!
Im going to Salsa classes tonight! I cant wait. Im trying to get fit but hate going to the gym so thought id try Salsa.
I have lost two stone since having Ashley as i put on a lot of weight. To be honest i didnt lose my baby weight when i had Danni. Feel loads better for it now though.
I had to go to the emergency docs last night again and have been told i have Gall stones which i got during pregnancy because of the build up of acid etc.
Got to go to hospital and have scans and blood tests. The pain is horrible. Sometimes i cant move or anything. Just want it to be sorted now.
Is the health visitor still coming out to see Alfie or has she stopped the visits now?
How are you feeling anyway? Hope your looking after yourself.

Hiya Kelly. Ur little man is gorgeous. Sorry i havent replied for a while but i havent been on here for ages. Its finding the time now isnt it?
Ashley is doing great. He is nearly 11 pound and feeding really well. Havin a little trouble getting him to sleep tho as everytime i put him down for his sleep in his cot he wakes straight back up. He knows when you arnt holding him you see.
Your labour went fairly well then didnt it? He is so lovely.
Did you have afterpains this time around. I had them really bad. Prob the same as contractions to be honest and they lasted for two weeks.
Danni is great with Ashley.
She keeps wanting to pick him up though so i have to be careful now and not leave her with him. She came into the kitchen holding him the other day and i nearly died of heart attack!!

Hey there! I am so glad to hear that you and your family are doing well. No I dont think we will be having any more kiddos. Its hard bc I dont want to think that there wont be any more babies for us..bc he is sooo sweet. I love holding roman but I think we need to stop already lol. 3 is enough. :) How about you?

Congrats!!! Grady was born 2/12 at 1:51p.m. weighing in at 7lbs 4oz. We just made it home today and I will probably have pictures posted in the next week or so. Take care and hope your hospital stay goes well!

So basically you were in labour about three hours with Jack then wasnt you? Thats good for your first time isnt it? Bet this time will be even quicker for you. I was having contractions all day with Ashley but i kept thinking they wernt proper contractions and was trying to cope with the pain. Im glad i didnt cos i didnt want to go to hospital to early.
Yeh i knowi still have plenty of time to decide to have more. Im glad i had Danni and Ashley young so now i can get back into work. Im qualified in reflexology but im gonna enrol in college in september and get my qualification again so i can work as a reflexologist. I wont work for anyone tho i shall work for myself and do it mobile in peoples homes etc.
Danni has taken brilliantly to Ashley. Im amazed how well she has taken to him actually. It hasnt seemed to affect her at all. Its like he has been here forever. She just keeps putting her dummy in his mouth and kissing him andwanting to hold him. I did find her pulling his toes the other night and when i caught her and asked her what she was doing she went red and walked off!! She is so crafty!!
Whats Jack been saying about the new arrival? Must be nice cos he is older and will realise what is happening wont he?
Adam has broken his hand recently and has it in a cast so he cant properly feed Ashley so i dont feel like i have anytime to myself at the moment. If im not seeing to Ashley im with Danni or doing something for Adam.
Just feels like im on the go constantly from the time i get up to the time i go to bed.
I love it though. I wouldnt be without them all. Im amazed at how well i have taken to being a mom actually cos i never wanted kids this early but im so glad it has happened.
Is your partner having paternity leave from work when little one is born? Adam had two weeks but a week of that he had to book as holiday as paternity pay is rubbish

Yeah walking is supposed to be good for getting the baby moving but im not sure how true it is. Mind you on the day Ashley was born i was walking about all morning shopping etc and thats when i started to feel pressure down below so i do believe it actually.
I would definately believe keeping upright for as long as possible when your in labour quickens the birth as i tried to do this with both of them and Danni was 2 and a half hours and Ashley about 10 mins!!! I know its hard and all you want to do is lie down and make the pain go away but its worked both times for me.
How long was your labour with your little boy?
Will definately not be having any more within the next few years as i want to get back into work etc and have a bit of time with these two but i said to Adam today we might change our minds when we are in our thirties. You never know do you? Adam was talking about money and how expensive it would be but if you thought about money you wouldnt have any kids at all would you??
Im glad your feeling well apart from feeling inpatient!!!! Just enjoy ur little bump for the next few days cos i miss mine :0

yes hun she sleeps through now which is fab, as i needed to catch up on my sleep. she has been a really good baby so far - its amazing how much time they take up but i dont begrudge her any of it, being a mother is the best job ever xxx

Hi Kelly.
Your still having twinges? I was thinking about u actually yesterday aqnd wondering if your little one had decided to make an appearance yet. Bet it will be any day now. Its exciting isnt it?
I am great thanks and Ashley is doing brilliant. He sleeps really well actually. Much better than i expected. I try and keep him awake as much as i can before bed time so he is really tired and has a good sleep. Normally he sleeps for about 4 hours and wakes for a feed during the night which is good.
I hate seeing pregnant women at the moment tho as it makes me all broody!! :)
