Hey everyone and welcome to my page! Congratulations to everyone!

I'm Kelly from Richmond, BC, Canada. This has been a crazy year. I found out I was pregnant with my first child on January 16, 2008 and then got engaged February 10, 2008 to the most amazing guy. We were so excited about the baby and could not wait to meet him/her. Unfortunatly, we lost the baby sometime during March 8 - 11, 2008. We know it was nothing we did as we were doing everything right...these things just happen. We are going to try again immediately. This was a terrible loss but we have to hold our heads high, and pray the next time will be the right time.... I am hoping to update my page as much as possible.

FEBRUARY 29, 2008:

I had my first doctor's appointment at the maternity clinic (not my usual doctor). She seemed very nice. My thyroid has been acting up so they are testing me every 2 weeks to see if there is any change...so far no change :(......I have to go back in 2 weeks for a physical.....She said I wont have an ultra sound until I am 18 weeks....awww, that's 8 weeks away!!! I cannot wait to see the little one, how exciting is that going to be?? So all in all everything is good with me and baby.....

MARCH 5, 2008:

I got a phone from my doctor on Monday tellimg me that I have a urinary tract infection and have to go on idibotics right away for 7 days....so I have been taking them since Monday night and an hour after I take them, they make me really dizzy and sick which is the first time in 11 weeks I have been sick...its weird!! I see the doctor in a week and I am hoping we will get to hear the heartbeat :)

MARCH 17, 2008:

I woke up Thursday March 6, 2008 with spotting and being the freak that I am, made myself a doctors appointment.....she did an internal and then tried to find the heartbeat..and couldnt...so she sent me the Hospital for an emergency ultrasound....they couldnt find it either and said the baby was the size of a 6 week old.....basically the baby stopped growing for some reason at 6 weeks and the spotting was the beginning of a miscarriage....yes, thats right at 11 weeks to the day... I am having a miscarriage!!!! I tried to pass it naturally but unfortunately, after 3 days of pain I ended up in emergency. I was admitted and the next day had to have a D & C.....I am doing fine now and can't wait to start trying again.......
