I know this website is really helpful. I hope the cyst goes away too so you don't have to worry much. I'm sure if it were something serious the Dr. would have told you. It's a good sign that he said nothing to worry about, think of how many babies they see each year.

Hope you're feeling well otherwise. I slept in today. :)

I dont know anything about the cyst but these ladies always seem to know their stuff so I would try not to worry as much...I know that is easier said than done. The placenta lying low...that I know a little something about. Depending on how low it is is may just be called "low lying placenta" or it could be placenta previa. I have what is called marginal placenta previa. Basically, the doc is telling me that I shouldnt worry to much right now (unless I start bleeding) and that I need to basically just wait it out and hope the placenta moves. If it doesnt, this could cause problems in the third trimester. It would also lead to a mandatory c-section as the baby would have no exit--again depending on just how low the placenta is. I just thought that I would let you know what I know because I personally look EVERYTHING up as soon as I know what it is called to be more aware of the risks and such. In your case though, I would really wait until you have another sono to see exactly where you are at before you start your research, you dont want to unnessesarily scare yourself. I hope that this helps.

Wanted to tell you that I am a pediatric nurse and I have known several women that have had these not even appear on the second scan and if they do they do usually go away. Don't worry even if you see it again. Most likely it will cause no problems and go away! Take care!

First of all congrats on your little boy.

I know this may not stop your worry, but I hope it eases your mind just a little. I recently found out that cysts are very common in your brain and a lot of people are born with them. My girlfriend's baby has a cyst. And I actually have one in my right ventricle of my brain (where your brain fluid is produced) Apparently it was something I was born with. My mother has a cyst as well which she was born with. Sometimes they can be hereditary. I'm sorry you are going through this upset ! If you need to talk drop me a line any time, I'm here!

You think so??!! I'm so happy to hear that, because everyone is telling me that they think I'm having a boy. So it's always nice to hear someone say a girl
