Baby Gender Predictor

Hello everyone my name is kelly and i am 24 weeks pregnant with my first baby. Me and my boyfriend Matt are both very excited and cannot wait for our little one to arrive.

I have been pridicted a little girl but we both decided not to find out the sex and wait for a suprise.Matt really wants a lil boy but as long as baby is healthy it doesnt matter.

We have both decided on names already we have Emily May for a little girl and Jack Robert for a little boy.We might change our minds before d day but we both really like them.

I am really pleased that i have found this sight as its great to be able to share my experiences and ask for advise from all you mummies and mummies to be, there is so much i want to lean so would be really gratfull for any advise or words of wisdom!

27 weeks

Thought i would up date my page as its amazing how much changes in a few weeks.Well im 27 weeks now, can't belive how fast time is flying for us.

I had my last scan at 24 weeks, everything looked great still dont know the sex of our little bubbles so im even more excited for D day!!

I had to go and see a heamatology specalist ( sorry about the spelling) the other day and i found out i have a blood clotting problem, it steems from my dads side of the family. It not that serious at the moment but it does mean i now have to wear thoses lovely flight stockings every day for the duration of my pregnancy and after i have had my baby i need a course of fragmin injections for 6 weeks to stop my blood from clotting to much! Sounds pretty scary but im pleased the doctors discovered it when they did. Does anyone else have this problem?? I would really appreciate hearing from you, anyway on to a possitive note....

Me and Matt have now finished decorating the nursery looks so lovely, we just need to start filling it with clothes etc. We went for the beanstalk range which is the picture above, very unisex for bubbles and we painted the wall a lemon yellow colour. I just cant belive in 2 months we will be a family : )

31 weeks

Omg i cant belive im at 31 weeks already it is going so fast! only 9 more weeks untill we meet our little bubbles, how exciting!!

I have been feeling really tired these past few days, i went to the doctor for a checkup the other day and he really upset me, he weighed me........ i have now put on 30lbs! 'yikes' and then said 'have you always been the larger size!!!! How rude. I just said yes but when i left i was really upset and wished i had stood up for myself but hey.... im pregnant so who cares!

I have my baby shower on the 3rd of november which i cant wait for, its based on the rubber duck theme. Gonna be a good night!

Anyway hope all you mummies are doing well.

34 weeks

I went to my midwife this morning a great news baby has moved to head down finally! I was so happy i just cryed lol. Me and matt were just so convinced baby wasnt going to move and i would have to have a c section. BRING ON NATURAL CHILD BIRTH!

I only have 3 more days left at work then i can finally become a lady of leisure. : )

36 weeks

Hello, well i had my scan today to comfirm baby is head down and my midwife was spot on. baby is in a lovely posistion. I am so pleased!!!

Also baby is weighing in a 5lbs 8oz already, i cnt belive in a few weeks im gonna be a mummy.

Im really enjoying my maternity leave, trying to get as much rest as possible and getting everything cleaned and tidyed ready for bubba to get here.

Emilys Birth Story

My labour started during sunday night i was noticing slight contractions every half hour, they continued all day monday coming every 14 mins. I lasted out intill 10pm monday night then we went into hospital. I was in agony they checked me over and i was only 2cms dilated!! couldnt belive it, but they said i could stay in and i started on the gas and air.
My labour progressed very slowley, after 4 hours 2 am tuesday morning i had only progressed to 4 cm and was begging for an epidural! I finally got one at 6 cms and it was heaven! i was very sick throughout my labour which made me really dhydrated so i had to have a drip put in.
I started Pushing at 10 am tuesday morning but emily got her head stuck in an awkward posistion which made the pushing stage very long. I pushed for 2 hours and Emily arrived at 12.22pm Tuesday the 27th November with a full head of hair and extremly gorgeous. I am very much in love! xxx
7th December 07
Just to update my page, Emily is doing really well and i cant belive how fast time is going, Emily is 11 days old alrealy!
She is feeding every 4 hours on the bottle which is lovely, i tryed feeding her myself but my milk didnt come in till 4 days later and i couldnt even get any colosturm through when i was in the hospital.
Good luck to everyone still waiting for their babies and congratulations to all you new mummies.

12 weeks old
Emily is 12 weeks old already, i cant belive it! She is doing so well, very smiley and now she is starting to giggle "so cute"
She is just getting over her first cold which hasnt been very nice but were getting there. Still sleeping 10 hours thro the night 8pm till 6am so we cant complain!
6 Months old
Emily is doing really well i can't belive she is 6 months old allready! She is fully weaned now and enjoying 3 meals a day. Still waiting for them teeth to appear.
She is such a happy baby always smiling loves rolling around and eating her feet. She is sitting up for a few minutes at a time now aswell. Dont the grow up so fast!
Im back to work next week so start of a new chapter for me. Emily is going to a childminder which will be good for her.
