Let's see, I am due with my second child April 29th. I have one already who is 3 years old and is super excited to meet her new brother. Things are going well on this pregnancy, but it is very different than the last one. This time I have more aches and pains and such. Only a little more to go and it will be done :)

Jan 30th

today i am having severe leg pain. i called the doctor, waiting for them to call me back. i do not remember this amount of pain when i was pregnant with my daughter. we'll see what they say.

well they called back, recommended tylenol and heat/ice. also called in some PT for me. Next week i have the glucose test and the next day i have PT. Not sure how that is going to work while 28 weeks pregnant.

Feb 5th

Today I feel like crap. I am very tired, the baby is moving a lot and I just want to sleep. I feel like i have no energy and I am very very thirsty. I guess it's time to increase the water intake. I have my glucose test in 2 days and I really really hope I pass. I did pass the last time while pregnant with my daughter. So I hope there are not problems this time around. It's amazing how different this pregnancy is compared to the 1st one. Only 84 more days to go.

Thursday, 14 Feb

i had my glucose test. i have not heard anything back yet. so no news is good news...i hope. but i am still in a lot of pain. they tell me it `s because the baby is getting bigger. i am not sure what it is. but either way, they want me to rest any chance i get. thank goodness someone invented the wireless adaptor for my laptop :)

Thursday, 28 Feb

the baby is very very active today. i cannot believe that i still have to wait 2 more months! oh well, he will get here before i know it.

Friday, 14 Mar

this baby is very active the past few weeks. and i am extremely irritated with my husband. oh well.less than 7 weeks to go.

KrysAndBundleOfBoy - Saturday, 26 April
I hope yours goes well too :o) Im hoping for all natural no drugs, the only thing im terrified about is complications that make a C-section Nessisary, Every time my baby boy moves now im in a panic thinking hes turned him self breech after being head down and a little engaged for weeks , eeek ! My First Due date is this Monday, second is tuesday and 3rd is thursday , So could really be anyday, I hope !
Anyways good luck !

Ps. Im actually getting tired of family asking me how im feeling... Obviously im big fat and wanting this baby out , asking every time they see me wont make that change Lol

Thanks! Exactly, I am all for doctors treating medical problems. Last time I checked, being pregnant wasn't a medical problem, it was a fact of life! lol I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks between my 2 girls, and then we were worried about my second daughter for the first half of my pregnancy because I had a bleed/clot behind my placenta. Thankfully, it resolved and we went on to have a homebirth with her and a homebirth 11 mo later with my son! It really puts it into perspective how precious these little babies are when you go through a loss like that...some people just don't think! Good luck to you, and I hope you have a happy, healthy, easy rest of your pregnancy!

Thank you for your comment. I guess worrying is very natural. I also have way too much time alone to think bc my fiance is gone for the year in Iraq. At least I have something positive to focus on while he's away.

Thanks for the feedback. I am definitely going to try and work until that final week. I'm sure I can do it!!! :)

I had a similar experience the other day. I was shopping and this lady in the store came up to me (which is getting to be a regular thing) she asked me when my baby was due, I told her and she asked if it was my first baby, I said yes...she said "Are you having a boy?" I told her that we were expecting a little girl to which she responded " I am soo sorry, I really was hoping you were having a boy b/c girls are misrable and every women deserves to have a good baby first." The nerve!! I was so upset. I am very excited about my little girl and wouldn't trade her for the world...sometimes I just wish people would keep those kinds of opinions to themselves! hehe I just related to your story so I thought I would share.

katiebaby1434 - Tuesday, 22 April
thanks for the comment, it's like I'm nervous already and then you hear people saying all sorts of things that put negative thoughts in your head!! Aggravating! Good luck to you, and thanks so much again!

NJDevChick - Tuesday, 22 April
I wouldn't let what that lady at the park said bother you, some people are just insensitive. I actually have a very active but well behaved 4 year old, I truly believe how they act 99% of the time is based on how they are raised, just my opinion though. Best of luck with your delivery! Almost there!

Hey, I totally agree. I loved the movie the business of being born. For me it is about empowering mothers with the choices to choose how they want their birth to be.

momofboys - Sunday, 20 April
Thanks! I hope when I go in for the real deal I get someone else. I have been so fortunate in the past. She was even positioning me where I felt like I was sitting on the babys head. I am about in tears I am so miserable.

KristinaKay23 - Tuesday, 15 April
Thank you for the encouragement. I'm sure my stressing isn't helping the BP. The thing is, I usually have REALLY LOW BP as well, so for it to be high is very strange.

jamiekritz - Sunday, 13 April
I hear ya on the c section thing. do not do it. I had one with my first and with this one, I am having a vbac. the drs are pissed... the rate of a csection is 70% now.. and %65 are unnessary.but of course the drs want to do one!! they get an extra almost 20k for it!! So.. Tell them no.. unless you really want a c section.. they cant "make" your do anything..

I had the shouler dystocia with my last son, he was 9 lbs 7.5 oz. @ 40 weeks. They managed to pry him out. It is scary because if they absolutely cannot get the shoulders through they have to dislocate their arm. Some babies have permanent nerve damage in their arm. I am struggling with this decision also, since mine is already 8 lbs this time around. I am being induced at 39 weeks, with the stipulation that ANY problems progressing or ANY pushing longer than 45 min. is an instant c/s. I am afraid of the c/s alot, but want a healthy baby so this sounds like a reasonable compromise between myself and the Dr. I hope and pray I didn't make the wrong choice instead of going right for the c/s. Let me know what happens! Good Luck!

kbaby - Saturday, 12 April
Yes I have GD too. My baby was 6 and 1/2 lbs on march 28th, but my doc still is talking going to my due date b4 the induction. My brain hurts too!

momofboys - Saturday, 12 April
I am curious how do you know how much your baby weighs? Did you get an ultrasound?

mrsjcarr - Saturday, 12 April
I am so sorry that you are depressed...Please call your other doctor for a second perspective on this. I think we are all a little afraid of having a c-section and though your mom had all of her childern without one, it may be in the best intrest of the child. Just try to look it up on the net so that you know what you are against. I would feel the same as you if my doctor dropped this kind of bomb on me when I am so close to my due date. Please try to take it easy. Pray about it. The baby is going to be healthy and fine at birth. We cannot change some things, but I can tell you that this will work out in your favor. As for your husband, they dont look at things like we do. I wish they knew what we go through while pregnant and being mother in general. I hope you have a better day.

mammax3 - Saturday, 12 April
are you quite petite??? my second child was 9lbs 6oz and i went all natural with him it all depends on you body type and if your baby will fit through. good luck!
