hi everyone i am 24 from birmingham england and this is our first baby i was told when i was 15 i could never have children so i always thought that when the time came for wanting children i would adopt or foster, but as for little miracles i was poorley on christmas eve and my sister gave me apregnancy test to do (she's had four so i suppose she knows the signs!) i did it and surprise surprise i was pregnant !!

Well i had my beautiful baby girl named Ava Bradley she was born on 22 august 2008 at 8.48am after 24 hours of labour and 1hour 38 minutes pushing she weighed 7lbs 15oz and she was perfect !! My partner Gav brought me a diamond ring the day after for a pushing present ! it was and still is the most unbeleivable experience and i am so in love with my daughter she really is the most perfect little thing in the world we are so proud !!!

Hey im suffering the same, with swollen fingers every morning, i have to put them over my head and make fist a ew times 4 it to stop. As for the tiredness i could cry sometimes i get so tired

Be also cautious with the amount of watermelon you eat.... you being so swollen you might overload the kidneys.... they are already working so hard getting rid of your waste products and the baby's. Hope everthing will be fine though. But do ask your doctor or midwife about the fatigue, swelling and the burning of the eyes.... I never had this so it's difficult to guess why....

It's normal to have some swelling.... but you also are very tired.... I would talk to the doctor...
In the meanwhile a warm bath can help to relax and with the swelling too. At the end of the pregnancy a lot of women retain too much fluid. Also it depends on your diet, hot, salty and pickled food tends to promote the retention of the water, try to avoid it. Also a good diuretic is watermelon, it cleans your kidneys well.

My hands have been swollen lately as well. I just started noticing it within the last week. I dont see the doctor again until Monday so I am going to ask about it. Its wierd though...I notice it in my hands and not really my feet!
