these are two very different labour prediction tests that i done

1, Madame Zaritska's reading

Madame Zaritska, our resident clairvoyant, wants to help you prepare for the arrival of your child.
Here she does her best to predict certain aspects of your labor and birth experience.

What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be windy. Your baby will arrive at night.

After a labor lasting approximately 6 hours, your child, a girl, will be born.
Your baby will weigh about 9 pounds, 9 ounces, and will be 18-1/2 inches long.
This child will have light brown eyes and be almost bald.

But there is more. I sense that you have thought about labor in the water.
You ask yourself, "Why do women find it helpful?" I think you should look here to find out more.

I REALLY HOPE THAT FIRST ONE ISNT TRUE 9pounds 9ounces ouch!!!!

2, Get your bags packed early just in case you need them.
Make sure your partner has a phone available when he's away because this baby just might come early.
We predict your baby will come 2-3 weeks early. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning.
Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 7.5 pounds and that your labor will be about 12 hours long.

NOW THIS 1 SOUNDS MORE LIKE IT !!!

hi,
French Toast, MMMM. I amazed myself, two days ago I ate two in the morning. I felt ok for some of the day, ate lunch and didn't feel well. I didn't eat supper bc I wasn't well. By the time I felt well enough to eat, it was 10:30 pm. I made 4 more, AND ATE THEM ALL! Yesterday morning my little girl wanted more, so I made four of them. We had two each. If you add them up, I ate 8 French Toasts in 24 hrs. Holy cow, I felt like a real pig!

You felt the baby's head? Wow, that's pretty cool.
Is this your first? (I have the worst memory, LOL.)

I have been quite well for the most part. Not too many contractions in the last week, which is amazing. I had been having them a lot since mid May.

I am trying to do the slow but steady thing. I am not working too hard, but I know the contractions will come right back full swing.

I moved in the last month, so I am emptying a few boxes here and there. Getting the stuff put away is the worst part of the whole process. I finally can walk in the nursery. I can (barely) get through the kitchen now, but can't eat in there yet. I make food and eat in the living room.

How are things with you?

Hi Kerry,
i like to pretend I am a chef. I love baking. I probably make my French Toast a little bit differently than most people. I mix 2 eggs, and some milk, then add about a teaspoon of icing sugar, a few drops of vanilla extract and some cinnamon. (The cinnamon settles tummies well, especially pregnant tummies!)
I mix it all, then cook as normal, then, at the end I like to throw on a dollup of whip cream, cut up some fruit (peaches work well) then drizzle with a tiny bit of syrup.
It makes the family appreciate my work. they think I slave for quite a while, when really is doesn't take any mroe than 15 minutes, LOL.

I'll keep you updated on Baby. ttyl

thanx, pregnancy has beeen mixed, no sickness but i was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 14 weeks , so they think thats why its a big un!, i look quite funny tho cuz i was tiny before pregnancy an my stomach is HUGE!!!

The sumersault wouldn't hurt any differently than a normal crowning/body birth. The baby bends at the neck and chest, just like anyone doing a sumersault. So instead of pulling the head away as the baby's body is born, they keep it close to your bits and let the body "squirt out over" the head. It's actually pretty cool to see! Our midwife teacher showed us videos of each and showed us a video of a doc cutting the cord around the neck before delivering the baby (what docs like to do...). The cut-cord babe fared the worst of all of them as it was cut off from oxygen through the cord before fully out of mama. SO, once again, we find that letting nature have its way with us is normal and healthy. I mean, you followed nature to get knocked up ;0) easy, even fun. So why not all the way thru?? Smiles and good loving thoughts!
Goonie

GoonieMomma - Wednesday, 25 June
Half of babies have the cord around the neck... it's normal and no longer a cause for concern. Usually they're around there cuz they're long, which is great, cuz they slip right back over the head! In fact, there are three methods of cord movement: slipping back over, loosening and birthing baby THROUGH the cord, and summersaulting the baby out (Keep head at the opening and let the butt come out, keeping cord around neck, but loosely, until ready to cut).

SO, no worries, mama! Short cords usually can't get wrapped around those spinny babes!

Hi Kerry,
That's how I see it too. What's another 3 weeks, LOL. especially in exchange for such good news.
I must run. I just finished making French Toast and it's time to take my 7 yr old out on her bike for a bit.
take care
