Hey everyone!
My name is Keshia, I'm 19 years old, and am pregnant with my first baby! Although it was completely unexpected, my boyfriend and I are very excited! I'm currently going to school full time and working part-time so I'm usually pretty busy all day everyday!
As of today (May 29th, 2008) I'm 9 weeks 4 days. Thankfully my morning sickness has gone away, except for now, I've been really tired. My bedtime now is usually 9-10pm, and I have to be up for about 8:15am, and even with all that sleep, I wake up in a complete daze, because I feel like I've only had about 3 hours sleep!
I've had 2 ultrasounds already. I go for my 3rd one on Monday July 2nd, and then my 4th (with a different doctor) on June 4th. So hopefully then I'll be able to see the baby moving around. I'm really excited for it!
Keep ya updated!

Hello again everyone! Well I went for my ultrasound today, I'm now 10 weeks and 5 days, and it was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. I actually seen my baby! His tiny little toes, and fingers and his little nose! So cute! I don't actually know the sex of the baby yet but I'm hoping its a boy! Not being picky or anything, the health of the baby is more important, but both me and mike have been hoping for a boy, although we're debating whether we should find out the sex of the baby next month (July 2nd) when I go for my next ultrasound! He doesn't want us to know, ut I'm somewhat impatient and feel I HAVE to know lol.
Well thats all for now. Hope all the mommies are doing good out there!

Okay so I haven't written in quite a while. But I've got alot of news. About a week ago, I was having horrible cramping and little bit of spotting, so I went to the walk in clinic to see the doctor because obviously I was quite concerned that I might have been having a miscarriage or something. So the doctor used the doppler and told me that the baby had a good strong heartbeat but wanted to send me for an ultrasound in, in the process, he asked me what my bloodtype was. I said I wasn't sure, but that my family doctor, in that same clinic had done tests towards the beginning of May, so he looked on the file and found that my bloodtype was A (RH) -, which according to my doctor was a worry to him because if I was spotting mine and the babies blood may come into contact. He asked me what my boyfriends blood type was and I said I was sure that he was A (RH) +, and I'm sure that most of you have an idea of what the risks are of being RH - and having a RH + baby. So the doctor ordered me to go to the blood bank and pick up a vile of WinRHO and bring it back to the next day to the clinic so I could have it given to me. This is an anti-D polyclonal human antibody, which comes from other people, so he told me theres always the risk of HIV and Hepatitis, etc. which left me a little worried, despite the fact that no one in Canada has ever contracted it this way, its still a bit scary, regardless, I still went for the shot.
I also had an ultrasound done that next day, baby is good, which was a total relief, because I was worried sick that something might have been wrong, but everything is excellent. The lab tech tried to see if the baby was a boy or girl amd its legs were crossed, which of course, made it impossible to tell whether it was a boy or girl. Darn! however my little angel did wave at me and my sister (Mike wasn't abot to come to the ultrasound because the doctor kinda made it a spur of the moment kinda thing and he couldn't get time off of work to time) But I do have another ultrasound August 8th, so hopefully they'll be able to tell then!
Hello everyone..
Unfortunately I had a stillbirth on August 7th and 12:01am, I was 20 weeks pregnant. Our baby was a little girl, we picked the name Tatianna for her, she was so beautiful! Hopefully you girls are all doing well.
