Hello, congrats or good luck to all expecting and new moms. My name is Kesha, 26 yrs old and as of 12/04/07 20 wks 6 days pregnant with my 1st child. This pregnancy was a B-I-G surprise. Our 6/7/08 wedding date had to be put on hold for now. From day one I prayed for a boy and God blessed me to hear "It's a boy" on Nov 29th 07. So for now we're just patiently waiting .

Jan 24, 08- Because the end of the pregnancy is coming so soon I've decided I want to start keeping up with it. I didn't chose a date to start so I'm starting on my 28th week. With the exception of NO weight gain AT all and needed several more hrs of sleep when my alarm clock goes off at 5 am I'm feeling pretty good. Had a dr. appt on 1/18/08 and was informed that I had lost 3 lbs since last visit making that a total of 16 lbs. Hmm....first my worry was putting on a bunch of weight. Now I'm like God please give me 5 lbs lol. Found out the results of the 3 hr GTT test and all is fine. I've been truly blessed. Jayden has been moving so much and that's the best feeling ever. Yesterday I watched him squirm around while I was in the shower. I giggled the whole time. Carrying a child is such an amazing thing......Blessings

Feb 22,08- Had an ultrasound and dr appt this morning. All seems to be going well. Still haven't gained any weight to date, matter of fact in less than a week I lost 4 lbs. I'm at a total of 20lbs lost so far. I worried about it at first but as long as Jayden is healthy I know all is ok. It's so crazy thinking about my pregnancy being almost over. These 32 wks have flown by. Getting excited about the baby shower 3/1 I cant wait....Blessings

Mar 7,08- Sitting at work not accomplishing anything so I decided to blog. On this past Sat 3/1 I had my baby shower. I had such a great time!! I got so much stuff....it was a blessing. I spend almost 6 hrs putting his stuff up on Sun. The gifts didn't stop there....we (J and I) have been receiving gifts all week. Had a dr. appt on Mon 3/3. I weigh the same I weighed last visit....Thank God!! No weight gain during this pregnancy at ALL!! Got an ultrasound done because of my blood pressure (making this my 8th ultrasound) this one was important though...my dr is watching my baby's weight but he's doing just fine weighing in at 4lbs 8oz. He was so active during the ultrasound the tech was laughing. He kicked and punched (fist balled and everything) the whole time.....so little, so much attitude already!! At one point J held my hand, the whole thing is so real now. He has been so good. Except for the 2, 3hr GTT appointments and 1 other he has been there with me for EVERY appointment. As a woman I like to think of myself as strong but God knows I'm so happy to have had him there. I'm just so excited and ready for my little J to get here. Its crazy because all my life I thought I would be terrified to give birth and here I am waiting and ready with not an ounce of fear in my body. I can't wait to just look my son in the eyes for the 1st time....with thoughts like that there's no room for fear....just excitement & anticipaition......Blessings

Mar 19, 08- At work again....accomplishing nothing again!! This is becoming a daily now lol. Haven't typed in awhile so here I am. Had my 1st "check me" appointment Friday 3/14/08.....I haven't started dilating but was told my cervix is really soft and I would probably start dilating before my next visit......YES!!!!! I also found out I gained 5 lbs not bad. I still have 13 lbs to gain to make it to my pre-pregnancy weight. Jayden is just a busy body he's such an active baby which never bothered me before but now it hurts! Owell that's really all I have to type about so I'll post something next week......Blessings

Mar 26, 08- Guess where I am.....WORK!! I really havent gotten anything done this morning....I had a horrible night, at 1:30 this morning I was still laying in the bed looking at the ceiling- to top it off I'm coming down with this FUNKY cold so I got on up, took a shower and came in at 3 am- now its 8:30 and the whole 3 am thing is not whats up anymore- I should've stayed my butt in bed!! Owell- had a dr appt on 3/24/08- didnt gain any weight since last visit- Jayden weighs 6 lbs even now- blood pressure is high so dr is talking induction :-) I'm so ready!! We had a good ultrasoud- he moved, smiled, and I even got to see his hair for the 1st time- of all the u/s I've got (including the 3d one) this is the 1st time I actually broke down and really cried- I cant believe that after being SO ready its really about to be time. I'm so excited!! Well I hope all you other ladies are doing well......Blessings
