Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

What you described sounds like Round Ligament pain to me. Whenever I cough, sneeze or laugh really hard, I'm almost guaranteed to feel that sensation. It feels like a sharp burning pain. Usually it goes away pretty quickly, but sometimes it will ache for a little while after. I would definitely say that It's just your muscles and ligaments moving and stretching to accommodate the baby! I just wish my husband would stop making me laugh....it hurts!!

as i sposted just after you my baby is always on the right side of my tummy, and yeah you can feel it! and what ever is pushing under my ribs, feet, legs, hands arms? who knows!

THANK YOU! For your comment bout the AFP test! seems like everyone responded so positively bout the results of that particular test! i decided im really not gonna worry bout it any more, just pray for a healthy baby. but what really scares me is that i didnt find out bout the pregnancy til i was 14 and a half weeks, i was in between birth control (iud) and thought i might be pregnant round oct... i took hpt and my doc gave me test prior to inserting iud in nov! and all test results NEG! so i had iud inserted and went in for follow up late jan for iud check and he tld me i was pregnant!! WHOA! that was crazy, he sd baby is surely survivor very strong lil boy, he said i should have miscarried when he inserted iud! but baby doing good very strong, but hard not to think if something could have happen during the unknown months or during insertion of iud! everyone and everything has been very positive since the pregnancy announcement i just pray my baby is okay as he has been thru a lot!!
