I dont know how i lost all my pics but I am posting them again, I love to see my baby's pic everytime i come to my page :)

Here is Jasmine with her legs crossed... so relaxed and unwind in my tummy. We have a video of it, we saw the whole process of how she chose a comfy position and crossed her legs, then lay back ...
Scary? hmm... hahah... these pics were taken when she was 23 weeks and 1 day GA, babies at this stage usually have their eyes SHUT, but surprisingly... Jasmine opened her eyes and blinked for a bit when we did this scan.... maybe she knew we were watching her :) see.... she's got daddy's nose :) (mommy has a flat Asian nose... )

This is one proof that YES, THEY DO PUNCH US!!! lol... I love this one... she was half smiling while showing us her moves inside.. I name this pic: Knocking on Heaven's Door :)

Guess she was annoyed with us watching her for so long... "o-right Ppl... I am tried.. leave me alone! "

Little Jasmine Weir is on her way, to meet her Malaysian born Chinese mummy and Canadian daddy.... Daddy is looking for a middle name, Mummy loves the name Shannon and daddy is like:erm.......... (jeez!)

She is confirmed to have daddy's nose... She's got daddy's nightcat gene--love to stay awake at night and sleep in the day.... Kicking mummy all night long!!

Mummy would speak to her in Mandarin and Malay, daddy will speak to her in CANADIAN ENGLISH and French... She will grow up as one of the 'eh' speakers...

She will watch Don Cherry with daddy and she will do the scorekeeping job at ice hockey rink with mummy while cheering for daddy in the ice hockey league here....daddy and mummy are training her to get used to life in ice rink right now ... she loves it when the puck hits the board....

she will be a favorite hockey baby in Malaysia and she will be in Toronto later in life... to learn about her ROOTsss...

Mummy's been feelin her powerful kicks lately and daddy still have to wait for a while to feel that...

Mummy's going in for a 4D ultrasound scan on 22nd August ... Hope to get some good pics of Little Jasmine... see you then Baby!

So we have finally get the chance to see our little bundle of joy :) I cant wait to hold her!!

We are gonna have Baby Shower on 21st October (Sunday) here is the Invitation Card that I have done... It's not my original idea.. I got the original card from internet and then I edited it myself. Most friends thought the baby's 4D pic on the invitation card is cool!

And here are some latest pics of my belly :

28 weeks... I am not SO big but my waist has expanded at least 11 inches!! I have gained 11 pounds so far, baby's father wants me to gain more!

Here is me, side view, 28 weeks.

This is me at 27 weeks... at my best friend's wedding. left ----> right: My darling, Chris, My best friend cum Big Buckaroo who just moved back to Manitoba after his wedding: Michael Street, and the bride is of course Mike's wife: Jacqueline. I am short... sometimes when my huney brings me out, ppl tend to think I am his Thai hooker or his teenage Asian gf. LOL!!!!!

That, will be Jasmine's first pair of shoes. My huney bought this pair of Moccasins from Canada during his trip back home to Toronto in summer 2007. So tiny... lol... I really love it... it's made of deer skin by the natives.. this actually is our baby's first gift too, when he bought this, he had no idea what we were having, but I guess yellow is a pretty unisex color... oh well... we have to wait another year for baby to put it on and walk around with it..
I cant wait! I cant Wait! I cant wait! ermm.... what CAN we wait these days anyhow.... LOL!

the carrots you can find in any supermarket in the baby aisle. butternut squash is in-season right now and you should be able to find it in the produce section of your supermarket.

lol its ok i bombarded people with the same messages!! solids foods really confused me lol. the carrots we were given the ok with because its sweet etc but i heard it doesnt agree with some babies although my emma was fine she hated them at first but she got used to them i added some to sweet potatoe and she likes them now.. i purree them all. i usually make up lots of the same kind by boiling them in a pan but cook them whichever your used too:) .then i put them in little pots just a couple of table spoons of each and freeze them..and take a pot out when i need them in the morning and heat them for a few secs in the microwave. the porride and baby rice i give to her for breakfast i buy these ready made from a store and you just add milk but you can your own fruit to them and veg too to the baby rice. i started by giving emma some rice with her bottle she has around 12 noon give her one food at a time so i could look for any allergies when she was ok with this i gave her some carrot for lunch instead. when i felt she was getting on well with the lunch time and taking solids well i introduced breakfast too. some babies take a while to get used to them others take a few days. emma took them well. youll learn what your baby likes and what she oesnt then you can start mixing some things together. a normal day for emma now is up at 7 has a morning bottle of milk ...she has another milk feed around 9am or 10am...i give her porridge then too. then her next bottle is due about noon or 1pm and i give her her milk and some carrot or another veg. i havent started a third meal yet but i will soon. just do what feels right for you and baby:)) and youll be fine! i hope this helps:)) lol i was so confused about the times to give her solids too xxx

Not sure if you've been to this website, but I've gotten stuff from here.

I actually throw the sweet potatoes in the microwave and bake it for about 6 minutes. Cut it open and hollow out the meat in the center into my puree chopper. Then I add a little breast milk to make the consistency a bit more runny.

Yeah, Sophie has 5 words now...lol... She does say dada too. Hi was her 1st word. They grow so quick! Before we know it they won't stay quiet! hahaha

I saw your feeding question. My little man was 6 months old this week also. I think yogurt is fine - Jack eats it and loves it. Just introduce foods slowly and one at a time so you can see if they'll have a reaction. I started with rice cereal or oatmeal baby cereal for the first foods. My little man's been eating for about 2 months now. Jack has pureed, or jar of fruit mixed w/ baby cereal in the morning, then a pureed veggie like carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, for lunch. And I nurse him the rest of the time. I've also already introduced him to a sippy cup and he drinks water and juice from it in the high chair while he eats. You know your little girl best, and I say go for it . Good luck!

hi there my little girl is six months old and shes been on solids for a month now. i cook my own food for emma i cook butternut squash, sweet potatoe normal is fine too. brocolli, carrot, apple, pear i sometimes give them to her on there own or ill mix them so she gets used to different tastes. those are what she has had so far when i first started i gave her baby rice and used her milk to to liquidise it, she now has porridge which i mae with her milk and i sometimes add some cooked apple that has been blended which she loves, u can add other things like pear or banana. i dont intend on adding chicken or fish to her diet for another month or so and red meat much later. i hope this helps you take care and your baby is gorgeous!! xxx

How is your pumpkin?

busybeemom - Friday, 20 June
Oh well to be honest I just kept trying. The material is very costly! It depends how bad you want to make then. You can print free patterns one online. They don't work like ours but that is what I started with.

The only other advice I can give is to not force the issue- that can lead to the baby really really not wanting the bottle. This weekend we went away with the baby and my mil. She baby sat while dh and I went out in the evening. I nursed before I left, and then in a couple of hours afterward, She fed the baby some baby food and offered the bottle. the first night Lily took 2 ounces from it but she had had food too. The other night she didnt take any. But she does know how to take the bottle, and if she really wants to she will. So I guess I'm trying to say that with patience and time your baby will learn to take the bottle...

I do the same thing, I hate warming up bottles!LOL but I give him a bottle at least weekly now, to make sure that he remembers that it will feed him too!!! I do not want to go through him refusing it again!

The silicone nipple on the playtex bottle is the only soft nipple that I have found on any bottle! With Wesley it made a difference because it felt more like me, than some hard nipple that they are not familiar with... You can always try one and see if it works :) Plus the drop-in ones are BPA free, which is also good~ I was also thinking about the Adiri bottles, but after reading reviews about them, there were a lot of people who had problems with them... With the bottom not closing right, and having to get used to the bottle, and stuff like that :(

lisareader - Monday, 16 June
She's the type of girl that knows exactly what she wants, I guess ... MOMMY!!! LOL.

emy - Monday, 16 June
I would try to maybe warm it a little. You figure it takes about 15-20 minutes to pump, at which time the milk has already started cooling...just a thought. perhaps worth a try.
