We found out on January 29 that we're pregnant with baby #2 (pregnancy #3). I was a little worried because my last period was Dec 30. I took a test on Jan 24 that came back negative. Then I tested again first thing in the morning on the 29 and it came back a VERY faint positive, and it showed up after 10 min. I took a digital test that night and got a positive. I went in for a blood HCG test on Feb 2 and it was 327. Then I went for a second on Feb 4 and it was 680, so it did double, but I thought the levels were on the low side. On Feb 9 I went for an ultrasound, which showed a sack but no fetal pole. I was told that either this meant I wasn't as far along as I thought or the baby wouldn't develop. I came back on Feb 18 for another ultrasound, which showed a heartbeat! It also put me at exactly 1 week behind where I thought I was. I was never so happy to be wrong! So hopefully everything else will go well :)

Went for a doctor appointment this morning. Everything is fine :). I was a little worried because about 2 weeks ago I fell down the stairs. I had an ultrasound and the baby waved at us! Heartbeat was 189.

Had another doctor appointment today. All she did was take my weight, listen to the heartbeat (first time I heard it!), and give me paperwork for my 20 week ultrasound. Heartbeat was 156, so maybe another girl?

16 week appointment. Got the triple (quadruple?) screen test. They will only call if something is wrong. Weight is 118lbs (100lbs pre-pregnancy). I was afraid they were going to yell at me for gaining so much, but she said I need to gain more! Heartbeat was 132. I was a little concerned that it was down from last time, but she said the heartbeat fluctuates, and it's still within normal range.

Had doctor appointment. All they did was weigh me and listen to baby's heart. I weigh 121, started at an even 100. They looked up my records from my daughter, and at the same point I weighed 124 with her. Heartrate was good-130's.

June 5, 2009

Tonight at about 6:00pm I started having a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions. They were pretty much constant for about an hour, and didn't go away with change of position (sitting to walking, etc.) I called the on-call doctor and she suggested going to the hospital to be on the safe side. I got to the hospital at about 7:30. They checked me for dehydration, and that came back fine. So they had me on monitors for about 2 hrs. The weird thing is, my stomach didn't get hard with the contractions, but I could feel a lot of tightening. The monitors didn't pick up anything, so they finally sent me home after about 2 hrs. I'm supposed to take it easy this weekend, and call my doctor on Monday morning to see if she wants me to come in. It was kind of funny, while I had the monitor strapped to me, the baby kept kicking at it so hard that you could see my whole stomach move! And the nurse spent about 10 mins feeling my stomach to see if she could feel any tightening. She didn't, but she sure did feel the baby kick alot! She was very surprised the baby was kicking so hard at only 21 weeks. Glad to know my baby is getting strong!

My baby brother Isaac, born 8-27-05 at 26 weeks. He weighed 1 lb, 9 oz and was 12 3/4 inches!! (notice the comparison to the hand) Today he is a healthy 19 month old, right on target developmentally! Just a little small for his age still, but he'll catchup :)

My husband Justin and I met in high school when we were 15 and 16.We were married January 10, 2005.We lost our first baby, a daughter we named Genesis, over Easter weekend 2006 when I was 9.5 weeks pregnant.After almost 7 months of trying to conceive, we are happily pregnant with baby #2 due August 23, 2007!!

hey ladies, sorry i haven't wrote in awhile...LOTS of things have been going on. first i'll start off with us as a family whole. we moved back up the where we're from in northern california. now i live by my mom and friends, i LOVE it...but the reason we moved isn't the best. my fiance's brother like turned against him. he's causing SOO much drama in his/our life its RIDICULOUS. and actually the reason i'm up so early (other from feeding ashlynn) is cause my fiance just left to drive down to where we were living to pick up his last pay check and then get the last few things we left behind. he's doing a 5 hour drive down there and 5 hour drive back by his self :-( i feel awful but we couldn't find anyone not busy to watch ashlynn and we don't want her in a carseat that long. God i hope he's safe...
well ashlynn is doing GREAT! last weighed she was 9lbs 14ounces and 22 inches long...getting big. the doctors said she's already so alert and when i put her on tummy time she holds her head up so well. she FINALLY sleeps at night waking only once to eat but always falling back asleep. she does like to wake up around 6 or 7 in the morning and stay awake for awhile but usually she stays with her daddy and lets mommy sleep until he goes to work around 9. her hair is growing so much and she hardly ever cries. i just am in so much love...she got a cold that we took her to the doctors for but she's basically already over it.
i'm doing great on recovering from birth, i finally finished bleeding but then some old darl brownish blood started coming out (sorry TMI) but thats gone too. we had sex around 3 weeks after i had her (yes i know sooner than they "say" we should) but it didn't really hurt and my fiance said you could barely tell a "difference" down there lol. right now i have a little tummy pudge to work off and i REALLY need to tone my legs! but all in time...i still haven't given up on breastfeeding so wish me luck there.

ok so today I was suppose to ahve my fluid levels checked but the ultrasound lady was out sick so they had my reg 35 week appt and rescheduled my u/s for wed at 4. Dr said my contractions are fine at what they are and if baby comes now he wont stop it! I think he believes im gonna go early but so does all my fam but I dont wanna jinx myself because of course everyone wants to think they are gonna go early. I cant believe I only have 35 days left!

hey ladies, sorry i rarely get on but i only have internet on my phone for now so thats why there hasn't been any new pictures either. ashlynn is a month and 4 days now. she's getting SO much better about sleeping at night and is just doing great all around...i did take her in to the doctors the other day because her acne was pusing up, found out she got a skin infection. i guess her baby acne got some bacteria in it from somewhere and was making it pus up...but we have an ointment for her and its working so good. i'm healing up great but my milk is really starting to dry up...its really tearing me apart i want her to have more breast milk...i'm still trying but its basically gone. when i took her in for her skin appointment she weighed exactly 10lbs and was almost 22 inches long, she's growing fast and super healthy.
well we moved back up from wasco to corning to be around family and friends...i'm SUPER happy! no more sitting at home alone all day lol and we're working on getting our OWN apartment!! i hope everyone is doing good with their new LO's and labor/baby dust to everyone else unless you're not ready yet lol. miss talking to you ladies!!! take care.

ok anyone experience this? Ok so my fluids are low and im on bedrest but since thursday i have been gettin braxston hicks with cramping and last night they were more severe than the night before but they arent consistant they will go every 5 min for about an hr or two and than stop and hour or so later pick up.. just wondering if any of you know what that means

Ok so I had my 34w appt today and I told the nurse I had felt a little leakage but none in a few days she contacted my dr and they sent me to labor and delivery the hooked me up and i was getting contractions every 3-5 min Dr told her not to give me a shot to stop them becasue i was so far along and if i went into labor it would be fine well they sent me to ultra sound and found out my fluids are low so doc ordered bed rest and sunday I have to go in for a non stress test at labor and delivery and than monday i have to go see him for an ultrasound to see if my levels are still low (: Im pretty sure that if they are still low they will keep me there on complete bedrest and if they continue to stay low induce I only say that because my cousins wife had a similiar problem.. we will see

hey ladies...as some of you may know i can't post blogs so i'll just write a little update here on how things have been...
first off, family...we just found out the sister-in-law that the WHOLE family (my fiance's family) doesn't get along with is 13 weeks pregnant. we're obviously going to love the child but the sister-in-law already is SUPER controlling towards my fiance's brother so she's just going to use this baby as another excuse to have more control over him. well enough about that cause its really not our deal, we're just worried about my fiance's brother.
i'm recovering well from birth (thank God lol) i go in for my 6 week check up here in about 2 weeks so i hope that all goes well. ashlynn is doing MUCH better with her sleeping at night. she'll wake up once in the way early morning and then once around 6 to eat but she always falls back asleep now! i took her to the doctors yesterday cause she got BAD baby acne but it was on her ears and everything so i wanted to double check and be sure thats all it is. she's gaining weight good and i can't believe on the 11th of this month she'll be a month old...time goes by way fast! one thing i do need help with is this...i'm not breastfeeding her because she almost makes me bleed when i do but i'm pumping for her...well awhile ago i got lazy and wasn't pumping enough and my milk supply has gone WAY down. i still have milk but when i pump i barely get 3 ounces out of both boobs together...how can i get my supply to go back up? i know its my fault but i want to keep pumping for her. help please lol...
i hope everyone thats had their babies are all doing well and i hope all that're expecting the best of luck.
