I also have lost weight. I am now 30 wks and only last week did I actually go up on the scale not down. I have only gaine 2 lbs past my pre-pregnancy weight.

I lost weight before the GD diet and then again when I started the GD diet. I'm 8 and 1/2 months pregnant and have officially gained 5 pounds in this pregnancy. My doctor is not concerned at all. Are your blood sugar numbers good? Mine were recently so low that my carbs were increased.

Thanks for the reply...I am having an elective c-section too , as first was emerg, second elective, but now I have to!!! My emergency c-section went up and down so I guess higher risk, were you awake for the last c-section?

I haven't felt anything either (I'm 176 lbs). Was just talking to one of my sisters today, and she said she didn't feel her baby move until 22-23 weeks.

I havent felt my baby either.B4 pregnancy I weighed in @ 160. So I am bigger too. I definently think this has something to do with it. My Dr. told me that it could take up to 22 weeks. I am still waiting, so hang in there and dont let the comments discourage you. I am sure the baby is fine. We just have more cushion that the baby has to kick through!!!!! Take care

Good to know someone else is feeling the same thing! Yeah, my hubby is from NZ--he grew up in the South Island then worked for a few years in Wellington before heading overseas. We had a chance to visit there a few years ago and drove around a good bit... I can't wait to take another trip. Such a gorgeous country you guys have!
