So... Lost the mucus plug today. Back hurts like crazy and have had diarreha all day!!! Hopefully this is a good sign that little Carter will be here sooner than later!!! I was wondering how long after you all lost your plug did you go into labor? I know everyone is different but I am thinking it is coming soon

Try moving the baby either more left or right in you arms until the only sound the baby makes is swallowing. If you hear sounds other than that (ie/ sucking sounds) the latch is incorrect. And your correct...the pinched nipple is an incorrect latch so when you notice that (and if baby is still hungry) reposition her. My LC said it's like trying to suck a milkshake through a pinched straw when the nipples like that! Also the chin should be near or against your boob while LO's nose should not. Best of luck!

I am sorry I have not been able to keep up with everyone or update you all to Logan's status as much as I wish I could have. I did write you all a Blog today to let you know how things are going. I am exhausted as I am sure most of you are as well. As for myself, husband, and beautiful daughters we are all doing ok. God is good, all the time. Even when we don't see it at the time. I have found my strength through all of this through his enduring love and in the faces of Isabell and Madison. They have made going through all of this so much easier.


I hope you are all doing well. And I can't wait to catch up with each and every one of you.

Hey ladies!! Cameron Gage is here!! He was born yesterday at 4:14pm weighing 8lbs and 8oz, and 21 inches long! We are both doing well. I will post pix and birth story soon!!

yeah, most of the timie its 'comfort nursing' which, i'm totally good with. but, i ihave to go back to work in like 2 weeks. he will be heart broken. of course, i will too :(
