Hi, I read your post about the doppler. It isn't easy to use. Make sure you are placing it really low (like just above the pubic line) You don't think of the baby being that low but it is. Hope you get it to work! And no worries because I am sure everything is fine!!!!!!

lilpeapod - Tuesday, 13 May
I am renting a heart monitor from Belly Beats. I got it when I was 12 weeks. It took me forever to find the heartbeat at first. Sometimes an hour. I kept hearing my heartbeat and not the babys. Naturally, I started to panic. I did finally find it. Now I am getting pretty good at it.
Make sure you start just below your belly button and above your pubic bone. Sometimes you have to point the doppler downwards and go really super slow. Just run the doppler across your tummy near the pubic bone (really low) and hopefully you will find it faster than I did. I hope this helps! Good luck!

Ok . Let me see if I can help. If you purchased a monitor from the store likely it is one that you can not detect baby until later months. If you purchased one that is 2MHz or better, it may be that you are not placing monitor in correct place. Message me back and let me know what type of monitor you have.. In the meantime, STAY BLESSED

Hey I pretty much lost my sex drive....my boo is not liking that at all! haha. well i do think it is coming back a very little and hope it comes back before I get huge. Hope you are doing well, Angie

MiSs bLoNDiE - Wednesday, 7 May
You are not alone. I totally lost my sex drive in the first trimester. I was just not interested in having sex at all. I just started the 2nd trimester and so far it's been a little better so we'll see. Hopefully my sex drive comes back in full force again :)

Hi sunshine! I had the same type of pain, dissolved into tears, rushed to the OB - only to be told it is normal and just more intensive pain for some women. Our uterus's have to stretch to make room and sometimes it's not pleasant. Unless there is blood (bright red and a considerable amount) you are fine and it is normal. Take heart, some of us will experience this more than others throughout our pregnancy. Take care!

babytaz - Tuesday, 6 May
Hi i'm from week 18. The pains you are getting are round ligament pains - it is the ligament that holds the top of your womb to your pelvis/hip bones. As it is moving they stretch and feels like a stabbing pain. Quite normal to have this on and off though out your pregnancy but more common early on. Hope this helps - it is nothing to worry about at all. Best wishes to you. Taz x

I was having the exact same pains as you. Does it feel like really bad cramps along the lower part of your belly where the baby is lying? Appt its normal as the uterus is stretching and the baby is starting to move further up now. I was really worried about this aswell but was told it was nothing to worry about. Hope this helps. xx

Hey girl my stomach is still flat too. The doc told me that if its your first baby and you already look huge at 15 weeks, then your gaining to much weight to fast. He said its normal not to show at all until around 20 weeks. So I wouldnt worry. Everything is going to be fine. I think since we arent gaining to much weight it will be easier for us after the baby is born to get back to normal size =) . Hope you have a great day!

christina1869 - Tuesday, 22 April
Dont worry I had none symptons either up until 2 wks ago when I grew a huge belly. I cant wait to find out either, I find out next Tuesday. Let me know what the out come of your scan is, you never know you might even be futher on than you think... Its great to see your little one for the 1st time, I bet you cry. Take care and good luck. X

herewego - Tuesday, 22 April
hmmm. it is easy to worry - especially if you haven't had a scan yet -- you probably should. maybe you could call the doc and just ask to pop in and hear the heartbeat on a doppler before your real ultrasound next week....or you could even buy one yourself - though they are a bit tricky and then if you couldn't hear a heartbeat you might feel even worse....i too have seen some pictures of women at 15 wks who are HUGE!! and i feel lucky to have just put on my regular jeans...if you are really worried, call the doc. it can't hurt. good luck.

Hi there Claire, Im from near Newcastle in the UK, Im 19w+4d and up until 2wk's ago I couldn't be sure that I had felt the baby at all, but now I can which is great. Try not to worry too much it will happen soon. Also I was 17 when I had my 1st son and I had no bump until I was about 4mth, I dont think you show that much with your 1st as your stomich mussels are still tight. Have you had your dateing scan yet? and are you going to find out the sex of your baby at your 20wk scan? Hope your well. Christina. X

herewego - Tuesday, 22 April
this is my second - and i am pretty amused by all of these ladies who are so thrilled with their growing bodies - if your stomach is flat at 15 weeks you should be grateful!! All of us will be huge eventually - why rush it? i too am barely showing and thrilled about it. also - the movement stats are really 16-20 wks - i would bet that half the ladies claiming movement at 15 wks are feeling gas....not to be pessimistic :) don't worry about a thing :) lots of love.

babebash - Sunday, 20 April
thank you for your thoughts and best wishes it means a lot. thank youso much

Hi there I saw your post in week 15 and would like to say that having sex is very normal and ok to have when you are pregnant I must say this though that since being pregnant I have had the best sex of my life.
I too am 15 weeks and have not felt baby or any signs of baby and you have nothing to worry about that too, I am expecting to feel baby move from about week 20 and upwards anything below that will be a miracle. I hope you are well beside the worry and be calm and do not stress, stress is bad and relaxing is good x

Mollie26 - Friday, 18 April
I have yet to feel movement too. I was told that it was possible to feel it now but most women don't until 17-22 weeks. Take care!!

crystalmooon - Friday, 18 April
My doctor told me that sex WILL NOT cause a miscarriage. In the final days of pregnancy it can help labour along a bit, but that's it. A lot of people get scared of sex because they are afraid of hurting the baby - just tell your partner to be gentle and go slowly with you. Talk him through it and do whats comfortable for you.

annamomma - Friday, 18 April
Thanks again! I am going to try to hunt it down today. My husband really wants me to not get stretch marks. MEN! Oh well if I get them this go around its for a good reason!
