Birthstory and MORE

OK so yes I know this is real late but oh well. So on November 30, 2007, my water broke around 6:30 in the morning. My husband had already left for work early because he was going to take off early, because my mother was coming down the same day. So he needed to go pick her up. When my water broke I called my doctor and I told him I am not having contractions at all but my water broke. So he said come on to the hospital. Since I wasn't contracting, I called my hubby and told him and he just came back home. Only thing is that in the morning there is rush hour traffic so it took him a minute to get home. He finally got there and I'm still leaking away. So we head to the hospital I get there around 8:00, still not contracting. I get all situated in my room, and they had to give me pitocen (sp) to get the contractions to start. So I had to wait. Then we got a call from my mother and she had arrived, so my hubby had to leave me and go get her. I was so scared that the baby would decide to come while he was gone. The contractions finally decided to start up. I'm calling my hubby on the phone asking him what is taking him so long. He had only been gone 5 minutes and the station is at least 20 minutes away. lol So I was trying to be patient but the contractions are getting outrageous. The Doctor asked if I wanted an epidural but I was like no I'm ok. So finally about an hour later, my hubby gets back with my mother and the contractions reached an all time high, and I was like ok ok ok, give me the epidural. My mother was saying the baby is ready to come now just start pushing, I'm like no I need the drugs..lol So it was around maybe 2 now. and with the epi, I felt no pain, not even pressure. They also gave me this little button that I could press every ten minutes to keep the epi going. She said even if i pushed it within 10 minutes it wouldn't overdose me. So I just kept pushing it. I didn't want to feel no pain. lol So around 6pm. I was fully dialted to 10 and she said I could start practicing pushing. Oh wait let me go back. They said that the baby was posterier something. ANyway I had to lay on one side with my leg up and then on the other one to try and get her to turn. I think her back was on my back. So anyway after that I started practicing pushing. It was hard, because I couldn't feel nothing, not even the pressure. So I felt my pushing was in vain. Everybody, (mother, hubby, doctor and nurses) was encouraging me. I kept pushing and my mother said she sees the head, she said the baby had a head full of hair. So I kept pushing, they gave me the oxygen mask. And finally she flew out!. They put her on top of me, I'm like in a little daze and not sure where I'm at. She let out a little cry and then was quiet. They took her and cleaned her up. She was quiet that whole time. They gave her a shot and she still didn't make a sound. I was thinking something was wrong with her. but she was fine they said. Her score, I forget the name of it but it was 9.5. She was very alert and was looking around a lot. so yea she was born 6:52pm November 30, 2007. Katelyn Lanelle Anderson. 8lbs 5.2 oz 21 inches long.

OK so now she is like 4 months and weighs 18lbs 2 oz and is 26 inches long. She has really grown. She is making all kinds of sounds, holding her own bottle, sometimes, sucking her fingers all the time, growing out of her clothes fast. It is so much fun to watch her grow and learn new things. She sleeps through the whole night, Amen! Well thats enough for now. Will write again whenever i get the urge again.

YEAH!!!! Tomorrow I will be 37 weeks!!! FULL TERM! OK baby its time to get things rolling. I know you getting cramped in there and mommy can't wait to see you so guess what?? I think you should be an obedient (sp) baby and listen to your mother...COME ON OUT NOW!!!

This week I caught a horrbile cold. It is awful! Everytime I sneeze my whole uterus seems to tighten and squeeze my baby and it hurts like crazy. On top of the the pains of pregnancy, I've had the added body aches of a cold along with a runny nose, congestion, sore throat, you name it. I'm feeling a little better today. For the last few nights our bed has been uncomfortable so I have to sleep on the couch propped up against some pillows. My baby seems to like to rest her bottom right up under the left side of my ribcage...at least thats what i think she is doing. So far I haven't really had any REALLY painful contractions..it has more so been uncomfotability and the pain in my pelvis area when i walk that has been getting to me. Pregnancy has had its ups and many downs and right now I'm jus not feeling like bein g pregnant any more. So now I have to convince her to come on out!

4 MORE WEEKS!!! or hopefully less...I think I can make it. I guess maybe I can start getting things ready. I still need to work on her bassinet. She still need some more baby toiletries, I have to pic her a going home outfit, pack our hospital bags, and I have to start bracing myself for the PAIN, becuase it is surely coming. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MY PRINCESS!

35 weeks and 5 days pregnant. AAhhhh!! My Ribs hurt...my back hurts...my legs are sore...my ankles are swollen...lots of pain in my pelvis area...many sleepless nights...when will it all end. I am trying to be patient but my little girl is beating me up badly.

I have a really horrbile taste in my mouth and nothing will make it go away. And everytime I eat my hunger is never satisfied. Haven't been sleeping well at night. Time is moving really slow...IS IT STILL OCTOBER...WHEN WILL NOVEMBER GET HERE??? Oh well, I guess I could be setting her room up now, I jus been feeling lazy lately.
