Hey everyone =)!! I already have a beautiful 9 yr old daughter whom I love with all my heart but to our surprise we got pregnant unexpectedly and I am expecting my second child, a baby boy !!!! YAY!!!! We are extrememly excited about his arrival and can't wait for him to finally be here with us. I'm new to this site and I already love it :-). I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

Hi-I am feeling the same exact sensation in my ribs, just on the left side. It started a few weeks ago but then that part of my ribs would just fall asleep and tingle every once in a while. Now it is full on pain...stinging, burning and sore. Last time I went to the Dr. she told me it's because my little man is hanging out completely on that side and pushing on that part of my ribs. She said usually babies will put their body on one side and legs on the other, but he is all over on the left side...legs, body, and all. I guess he's just more comfortable that way. But she said it was nothing to worry about, so I'm not. I'm just rubbing that spot every now and then and sometimes that gets him to move and give me some relief. Hope this helps and good luck!

hey i was having this pain for quite a while but now that the babies heads engaged ive not had it at all my mid-wife said it was prob the babies feet under my ribs and them parting a little to make roon for my growng uterus, hope this puts your mind at rest! but it does really hurt so much but im afraid theres nothing much you can do about it i found that not wearing a bra helped me xx
