I'm so grateful for finding this site while I was pregnant. If not I honestly don't think I could have survived!

He's actually doing great. When the nurses took Cayden out of the room to give him a bath and what not, Malachi got mad and kept saying No! My baby!!! He gives him kisses all the time too. Anyway, how is motherhood treatin ya? I couldn't ask for anything else.

She is beautiful! I am glad everything went so well for you. How weird was it to feel them pushing on your belly while numb? I was knocked out, so I missed that. But will probably feel it with my future c-sections.Is it scary?

Oh, and I read your birth story, and that's just crazy that they had such a hard time getting the spinal in! I have scoliosis too, actually I have 2 curves, and somehow they worked around it. Yours must be in the exact spot they were trying to put it in or something. Sorry to hear that was a bit of a problem for you!

Hey, so glad to hear you're doing well! That's awesome that Zack is doing such a great job w/ her... Dan is the same way w/ Maisie... I don't even try to interfere b/c it's so fun to watch their interaction.
Maisie also lost 1O% of her body weight in the hosp & we're still working on trying to get her back to her birthweight. How is bf'ing going for you? I've had ups & downs, and actually almost threw the towel in a few times b/c it was too painful for me. But we visited w/ lactation consultants in the hosp & they are miracle workers! Maisie is now doing really well w/ the feedings & is on track to be her birthweight by her due date, which is Fri. The nighttime feedings are getting to be a bit much though... I'm definitely feeling the effects of sleep deprivation!
Hope you continue to enjoy being a mom, keep in touch! Also, I just discovered under the "babies" section of this website, there's a "month by month" section which I am already taking advantage of! I've posted in the O months forum several times already. I discovered it as a fluke, so I just thought I'd pass it on! I was kind of going thru withdrawal from not having a weekly forum to check in on.
