What time is your c-section?
My co-worker just told me like 3 of her friends were induced, and none of their labors progressed, so all 3 had to have a c-section. So I may be unlucky, and have to go thru both.

Hey again. Saw your comment on week 39- same thing happened to me at the doctor's- they started charting my weight after 12 weeks or so and I lost 6 kilos during morning sickness (more than 12 pounds)!! So it looks like I gained more than I have too and I HATE being weighed every week (and then inquisitioned about what I eat). And even though they say you usually stay the same weight or lose in the last few weeks, I continually gain (cause I continually eat ). I hope I didn't gain much this week (going to see in a few hours) but I'm feeling bloated and constip. which def. won't help- ugh!

Saw your post, we will never know now who won. But I had no changes. I am being induced next Thursday the 12th, if I am in labor for a long time I could have a Friday the 13th baby. AHHHH....
I am freakin out.

I was breech too when I was born. I had a feeling all along that she was and although everyone kept telling me she could still turn I knew she wouldn't. She likes it where she is and I know she is going to do things her own way. I was nervous at first but everyone says that it is really easy and several women I have talked to that have had c-sections said they wouldn't do it any other way. We have a lamaze video that shows a c-section and after watching it I am very comfortable with it. It doesn't look bad at all. Now I am just so excieted I can't hardly handle it. Plus I know exactly when she is coming. We live an hour and a half from the doctor so it is kind of nice to know. I am just jealous of my husband who will get to really hold her first. He is taking off the 3 weeks with us so he will be a great help but I see him just taking her from me and bonding while I am healing:) I hope everything goes well for you! People talk about the baby's feet in their ribs, well try a head that really hurts:)

I came home yesterday and ran 2 miles on the treadmill,walked another mile with my MIL,scrubbed the shower and the microwave trying to start labor and get my mind off what happen at the DR office. I feel better knowing that I only have a week to go. If she comes early GOOD!! I just keep telling myself I will have a baby next weekend.

Its the best and scariest feeling i have ever had! I feel sooo ... purposeful if that makes any sense! I look at him and just get butterflies! I feel proud! I feel like my heart just cant fit another thing in it... kinda corney but hey.. im still hormonal lol!! GOOD LUCK.. and its funny how all the pain just melts away when they put your baby on your chest... everything melts away but you and the baby!! I could hear my husband talking and the Dr talking back to him but its was like they were all blurry and all i could see was my baby! I hope its an awesome experience for you!

I know im sorry i didnt mean to.. i just couldnt wait to show him off!! I didnt go into labor on my own though, my dr induced me! I had lots of complications w/ the preg and my dr was afraid that i would be able to deliver naturally if he made me wait any longer! But i hope your baby comes real soon!!

I'm a little bummed and having lots of cramps. I went to the Dr yesterday and my Dr volunteered to induce me last night..but the damn hospital didn't have any more room. I'm all bummed out because I thought I was going to meet my daughter today. SO now I have to wait until my Dr gets back from Vacation or go on my own. I went ahead and scheduled an induction for the 12th/13th. I really didn't want to have her on Friday the 13th but it's better than being way over due. Other than that I'm GREAT!!

hah i still get scared no matter what people say. well some weird stuff is going on. im not sure if its my water or discharge. im almost 100% its discharge tho. but it keep coming! and its smelling like windex now..very strong windex..i sniffed it again, and WHOA! its STRONG now.

Hey there! I just put Maisie down for bed, and her next feeding is in about an hour and a half... yikes! This breastfeeding thing is so cool, and I love it, but it is also very time consuming!
I wanted to write quick while I had a moment... I really, really want to emphasize how well my c-section went. You will be just fine. As you know, mine went really quick so I didn't have much time to get nervous. But it really went flawlessly. Basically, I went to maternal assessment, they decided to do the c-section, they put an IV in me... and I swear that was the most painful part of the whole stupid thing b/c I had an idiot nurse who couldn't get the IV in properly. They shaved me "down south," and wheeled me into the OR. I was really getting nervous, but they were so calming. The anesthesiologist talked me thru everything he was doing, and when it came time for the spinal, he had me lean forward into a nurse, hold her hands, and I just stared at her bracelets... he said "a little pinch" where the lidocaine went in, and that's all it was... hardly hurt at all... didn't feel the spinal go in one bit. Next thing I knew I was getting numb... they strapped my arms down & I honestly didn't even care. Then I kind of felt like my lungs were getting heavy, so he undid one arm so that I could put it on my chest for comfort. I talked to Dan througout the entire process & that really helped. I didn't feel any pain, just a little "tugging." Believe me, I'm a baby when it comes to this stuff, and I didn't think it was bad at all. After Maisie was born, they whisked her away & Dan went with, so I asked the anesthesiologist to keep talking w/ me, so he did... really helped take my mind off of things. It was over before I knew it, and I was wheeled off to recovery. Breastfed her one hour later. Was in my own room maybe an hour and half after she was born. Pain meds were great. I definitely have had a little pain, and getting up & walking that day was a bit painful, but I'm already pretty up & at 'em. I hope that eases your fears a bit. I seriously tell everyone I konw that it wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated. And the "no labor" part is pretty darn cool! You'll be great... I will be thinking of you! I bawled like a baby when she came out... I can't wait for you to experience it!!!! Let me know if you have any questions!

The best advice i can give you is if you are nervous then ask all the ?'s you want...you will probably be shaking from excitement, nervousness, and the med but dont worry that is totally normal!!! and then post pics as soon as you can!!!

I live & work like 5-10 minutes away from the doctors office & hospital. It is so close, I love it!! It did suck, and I am so curious how much progression I have had. You are like 3 days away, OMG CRAZY!!

Hi, sorry it took so long to get back. I HAD MY BABY!!!Shes beautiful. I love pink and brown together, too. Its amazing..... Thanks for the compliment on my nursery, its still not finished.
