Hi,
I am Kourtnee. This is my third pregnancy, but my first one with my new husband. I am so excited to share this experience with him.. I have two boys of my own, and he has one son, so we are hoping to have a little girl this time. But, God has His own plans so we will just be happy with a healthy baby, another little miracle for us...

I really wish that I had insurance.. I think that I have a kidney infection.. The lower right hand side of my back hurts so bad... I have been having uti symptoms for a few days but since I don't have insurance, I don't know 100%... My husband is a paramedic and he just keeps telling me to drink cranberry juice.. YEAH, I have been.. He just doesn't want me to go to the hospital cause the bill will be alot.. Nice huh? We have been fighting a lot lately and I am at a point where I just want to leave him. Sad,, but he makes me soooooo mad and he is so unsympathetic with this pregnancy.. Anyways,, I have an appointment on the 14th. I hope that everything is okay since this will be my first one and I am already four months... My husband says that women have been having babies for thousands of years and never had to go to a Dr.. WHATEVER!!!!! I do not want to get the blood screen done that can determine if the baby has down's or some other deformity.. I had one of those tests come back positive with my second son and then had the amnio done.. It came back negative but I would rather not know.. I will love the baby no matter what..
By the way,, I have felt the baby kick.. A couple nights ago.. It was sooooo cool. I had a coughing fit and when I was done,, the baby was not happy about being bonked around and it let me know it.. I could feel it with my hand. And today the baby was kicking so hard that I could see my shirt move. I thought that the baby wasn't supposed to be able to kick that hard til later. Well,, either way,, it was soooo cool..
May 13, 2008- Well,, I have not felt the baby move in a few days. It was j=kicking soooo hard at 16 weeks that my hubby and son could feel it... But my hubby keeps telling me that if something is wrong, I would have a lot of cramping and bleeding.. Hmmmm??? I am going to my first appt tomorrow.. YEAH!! I hope to have an u/s done. I want to know if it is a girl or boy.. Let's hope for a girl,, but I will be just as happy if it is another boy... My hubby and I are doing a lot better.. Looks like I will keep him around.. = 0)

Hey!
How was work yesterday? I'm so sick of mine right now! We are so busy and my assistant (the one who was going to take over my position so I could possibly retire) has now decided to go back to school and change majors. I could smack him to China right now. He has completely taken my option away while never letting on that he didn't want to take over. He's recently been promoted and got a raise and all was fine then...just pisses me off!
Anyways, we have absolutely NO NAMES! Boys names are going to be soo hard so if you have any suggestions, please let me know!! We were talking about the nursery last night, I think we aren't going to go as neutral colors as we thought, we'd like to throw some blue in there too. Either way, I'm excited to get started on it!
Jazz is really happy its a boy! He didn't say too much before we found out about wanting a girl or boy, but now that he knows he has let loose on how ecstatic he is - its cute to hear him talk about it. He talks to the baby and ribs my tummy every chance he gets. He sure has come along way from when I first met him - he was adamant about not wanting kids!

how did the ultrasound go?...you had mentioned that you were going on the 14th..
We're going next friday (23rd) for an ultrasound, so HOPEFULLY we get to find out what it is!! im so excited, i can't wait! Then i can start looking at the cute pink stuff or the cute blue stuff!!

I'm so sorry you couldn't get yours done yesterday - what a bummer and its not fair!! You can't get on your husbands insurance?Hoy about I am having a BOY! Jazz is very excited. Proiblem is that the baby is carrying so low because I have a shorter cervix than normal =( which causes more chance of a pre-term delivery... No more riding, exercising, sex or strenuous activities... I am going to my normal gyno here in a bit so I'm going to ask him more questions regarding this. I'll let you know!
I wish you lived closer too!! I've thought of that before!

Hey!
Glad to be back finally! I'm dying to hear how things are going for you!! I doubt that there is too much to screw up at the u/s place as far as today goes - but what the hell - a hysterectomy!!?? Seriously!
I'm not too sure if I've ever felt any kicking or movement. I've been getting real sore down there cause everything is so damn tight! I kinda wish it would just pop out already to make some room - they say the uterour is the size of a cantelope right now and I just can't understand how its stuck in there with everything else. I'm nearly positive that it is sitting or pushing on my bladder cause I am CONSTANTLY peeing!! I do have a bit of a belly now! - I will post some vaca pics (no belly) and a pick tonight and you can see the change in a matter of a couple days!! Finally. I actually think its cute! I can't waait till tomorrow!!
Maui was great to go once but I don't know if I'll go back anythime soon! If you go for the scenery and ethnic part of things it was like no other - but if you are just going for the sun and the beach - you might as well go to Florida or carribean - just as nice.
Well I've got to get going - free time is rare now that I'm back - so much to catch up on!!

Hey, i am not sure what the normal amount of ultrasound are. i have just been going to the appointments when they tell me too. The only u/s that I requested on my own was the one in December, because I found some blood on my underwear.
I am getting very excited about having my baby. I have about a month to go.

I went to the doctor...I might be having a miscarriage..the date of my LMP and the ultrasound dont match..they are going to do bloodwork and then let me know. When he told me that I fainted..thank god my husband was there to catch me!

Hey!
I'm back!! woohoo! What a vacation! The weather was great, scenery is beautiful, yummy pineapples, wonderful hubby, fun fun, bad flight home!! We were supposed to leave Maui 5pm Saturday and the plane was broke so we sat in the airport for 7 hours until they finally sent us to hotels - minus luggage. We left the next morning but since the time change we didn't get to Dallas until 9:45 pm and no flights leave that late so another night on the road - minus luggage! We finally made it home Monday afternoon. Same clothes for 3 days! I was so disgusting!!
Anyways, I've unifortunately got to get caught up at work so I will message you later with more details! How's everything with you? Any news or changes while I was gone? I will know what I'm having in 46 hours - yeah!
