I am Kourtnee. This is my third pregnancy, but my first one with my new husband.

May 1, 2008-
I really wish that I had insurance.. I think that I have a kidney infection.. The lower right hand side of my back hurts so bad... I have been having uti symptoms for a few days but since I don't have insurance, I don't know 100%... My husband is a paramedic and he just keeps telling me to drink cranberry juice.. YEAH, I have been.. He just doesn't want me to go to the hospital cause the bill will be alot.. Nice huh? We have been fighting a lot lately and I am at a point where I just want to leave him. Sad,, but he makes me soooooo mad and he is so unsympathetic with this pregnancy.. Anyways,, I have an appointment on the 14th. I hope that everything is okay since this will be my first one and I am already four months... My husband says that women have been having babies for thousands of years and never had to go to a Dr.. WHATEVER!!!!! I do not want to get the blood screen done that can determine if the baby has down's or some other deformity.. I had one of those tests come back positive with my second son and then had the amnio done.. It came back negative but I would rather not know.. I will love the baby no matter what..
By the way,, I have felt the baby kick.. A couple nights ago.. It was sooooo cool. I had a coughing fit and when I was done,, the baby was not happy about being bonked around and it let me know it.. I could feel it with my hand. And today the baby was kicking so hard that I could see my shirt move. I thought that the baby wasn't supposed to be able to kick that hard til later. Well,, either way,, it was soooo cool..
May 13, 2008- Well,, I have not felt the baby move in a few days. It was kicking soooo hard at 16 weeks that my hubby and son could feel it... But my hubby keeps telling me that if something is wrong, I would have a lot of cramping and bleeding.. Hmmmm??? I am going to my first appt tomorrow.. YEAH!! I hope to have an u/s done. I want to know if it is a girl or boy.. Let's hope for a girl,, but I will be just as happy if it is another boy... My hubby and I are doing a lot better.. Looks like I will keep him around.. = 0)
July 13th-
Well I am getting a divorce.. I can not put up with this mental abuse from my husband any longer. I am tired of paying him rent to live with him,, tired of him disconnecting the furnace when he goes to work for three to four days at a time, tired of him not wanting this baby,,,, just can not do it anymore... It is a sad thing but how much can one take,, especially pregnant?? I mean, this stress is killing me..... Thank God that this baby is doing good.. I have been having a lot of BH contractions though. Hope it is not early labor.. Only time will tell... I go to the Dr on the 18th......

I know the feeling. I am more scared now with this one than I was with my first. I guess with my first I was oblivious to anything bad happening and after having a difficult time with my first I am terrified something even worse will happen with this one. I am also like in a mode of denial almost like Oh yeah I forgot I was pregnant. So hard to deal with but this sight helps alot too.

the size is 6.5 from crown to rump doesn't include the legs so the other measurement is prob head to toe.

I am starting to feel really crappy. I had a really good morning...like really good! I cleaned up the kitchen some and made pancakes for breakfast. Now I am starting to feel sooo nauseous! I need to get out of the house...maybe Ill go to the baby store or Kmart. I wish there was a Walmart out here.

I was in bed feeling ill...I feel better right now. I cant believe I gained 7 pounds...no more whoppers for me! I wish it was 7 pounds in my boobs but its 7 pounds on my booty instead...ugh. I hate Genny...she gets on my last nerve always in my koolaide! How was work?

yeah i agree with the afp test although i had it done anyways. The dr really pushed me to.
But yeah i feel my baby move all the time shes crazy in there. At every appointment they always tell me how busy she is haha but I love it!

So sorry this reply took me so long! I've been out of town for the past few days and haven't had any sort of a routine at all... Stupid second graders, ugh, you teachers disserve like a MILLION dollars a year. I was a nurse in my former life, so the circumsision thing I guess I didn't really think about, just kind of always assumed I would do it. Before I was pregnant I weighed 120, I'm already passed 140... and the fact that it's been over 100 degrees here for the last 3 or 4 days isn't helping me feel like less of a whale! I figure that's what the treadmill, breastfeeding and pilates are for... work off the extra "fluff" after. I've never in my life been able to eat what I want with no guilt so I'm sure livin it up now! Your picture of you and your man is soooo cute! How are you feeling now? What are you going to do with your summer?
