Hi,
I am Kourtnee. This is my third pregnancy, but my first one with my new husband.

May 1, 2008-
I really wish that I had insurance.. I think that I have a kidney infection.. The lower right hand side of my back hurts so bad... I have been having uti symptoms for a few days but since I don't have insurance, I don't know 100%... My husband is a paramedic and he just keeps telling me to drink cranberry juice.. YEAH, I have been.. He just doesn't want me to go to the hospital cause the bill will be alot.. Nice huh? We have been fighting a lot lately and I am at a point where I just want to leave him. Sad,, but he makes me soooooo mad and he is so unsympathetic with this pregnancy.. Anyways,, I have an appointment on the 14th. I hope that everything is okay since this will be my first one and I am already four months... My husband says that women have been having babies for thousands of years and never had to go to a Dr.. WHATEVER!!!!! I do not want to get the blood screen done that can determine if the baby has down's or some other deformity.. I had one of those tests come back positive with my second son and then had the amnio done.. It came back negative but I would rather not know.. I will love the baby no matter what..
By the way,, I have felt the baby kick.. A couple nights ago.. It was sooooo cool. I had a coughing fit and when I was done,, the baby was not happy about being bonked around and it let me know it.. I could feel it with my hand. And today the baby was kicking so hard that I could see my shirt move. I thought that the baby wasn't supposed to be able to kick that hard til later. Well,, either way,, it was soooo cool..
May 13, 2008- Well,, I have not felt the baby move in a few days. It was kicking soooo hard at 16 weeks that my hubby and son could feel it... But my hubby keeps telling me that if something is wrong, I would have a lot of cramping and bleeding.. Hmmmm??? I am going to my first appt tomorrow.. YEAH!! I hope to have an u/s done. I want to know if it is a girl or boy.. Let's hope for a girl,, but I will be just as happy if it is another boy... My hubby and I are doing a lot better.. Looks like I will keep him around.. = 0)
July 13th-
Well I am getting a divorce.. I can not put up with this mental abuse from my husband any longer. I am tired of paying him rent to live with him,, tired of him disconnecting the furnace when he goes to work for three to four days at a time, tired of him not wanting this baby,,,, just can not do it anymore... It is a sad thing but how much can one take,, especially pregnant?? I mean, this stress is killing me..... Thank God that this baby is doing good.. I have been having a lot of BH contractions though. Hope it is not early labor.. Only time will tell... I go to the Dr on the 18th......

I called you! I was gonna go visit you cause I went to West Boron and finished early...I had to tell Genny cause she asked me. She was really happy..then she asked me why I didnt want to tell anyone and I said cause you never know what will happen...and then she said yay, I had a mc!!! I was so mad...why is she telling me that shit! She also said she had a still born! Not what I want to hear at all..ugh

Hi Kourtnee, Thanks for the website; I'll be sure to check it out. I have a friend that is a doctor and really against ultrasounds, saying that they really don't know what effects they have on the baby and that studies have been linked to high incidents of ADHD children and frequent ultrasounds. I'm not sure I believe that but I don't really want to risk not doing them either.
A cone biopsy is a procedure that removes of cervical tissue that is precancerous or cancerous. It can but doesn't necessarily weaken your cervix. I've also had cervical dysplasia several times (precancerous cells identified from abnormal paps) They usually do a light scraping of the cervix to get rid of it. I won't know exactly how weak my cervix is until they measure it next week at my first of many weekly ultrasounds. Apparently if it is less than 2.5cm (I think) thick than they will give me a stitch to prevent me from dilating and if that doesn't work, I'm looking at bed rest. Yuck. So, cross your fingers for me. We have an ultra sound in 2 weeks...he said I should be able to hear the babys heart beat and he can tell me for sure the weeks I am...maybe he will see 2 babies!

I went to the doc...he said I was 5 weeks, gave me some vitamins, made an appointment for an ultrasound in 2 weeks, and then another check up 2 after that...It went well. I was sweating! I was so nevous....I forgot to ask for you! He is a nice doc...you should call them. I also saw a pregnancy center here in tehachapi maybe the can see you there for free.
