Hey all. My name is Kristi-Anne and I'm from Bristol in the UK. Have decided to sign up after following this site for many weeks. I am 12 weeks and 2 days today (22/02) with my first pregnancy. My partner and I, Ben, are over the moon and still can't believe we're going to be parents. I was in a baby shop today and picked up a little sleep suit, Ben put it in his arms and I literally cried.. I am so emotional at the moment ha ha, quite funny really. Good luck to all of you... This is so much fun! x

Wednesday 27th February

So I am officially 13 weeks today. I had my 3rd scan yesterday which was my official dating scan.. was wonderful to see our baby again. It turned it's head away so it didn't have its face in the picture, just like its parents ha ha! it wasn't as active as the 10 week scan but still a very strong heartbeat. I still can't get over the fact its growing inside me. I love it! So I'm still getting bad headaches,,, just now and again and not too sure why but I am living with them. My mum and dad bought me my first pressie for the baby - a little sleep suit set, its so cute, Ben and I have said we are not going to get anything as yet. It's so frustrating I so want to know if its a little boy or girl!

Thursday 6th March

Had the midwife today and syked myself up for the 2nd lot of blood tests and found out I was too early to have the down's testing. Heard the heart beat today for the first time was nice and strong, was 160 bpm. Also had the tests back regards rubella etc.. all good, can't believe how healthy and fine I am. Oh and I've lost a pound ha ha.

Thursday 20th March

Time for an update for all of u reading my page.. welcome! I am 16 weeks and a day today, feels like it is taking forever. Had another midwife appointment today for the downs screening, the blood test wasn't too bad actually she's very careful my midwife. I was weighed again and have lost another 2lbs thats a total of 3 over my pregnancy which is normal apparently shows that the baby is getting its nutrients from me. Heard the heartbeat again, was really strong ranging from 146-158 and it was moving and doing somersaults lol. My uterus is where it should be also, a couple of inches from my belly button, I'm just not showing! Have to ring up in 2 weeks time to get downs results so cross fingers, toes and anything else u can cross he he...... going to traet myself tonight to fish and chips.. i can tell its going to be a good meal. Don' see my midwife now till 25 weeks... going to miss it but find out sex 21st April woo hoo x

Thursday 3rd April

AFP tests all came back as negative YES!!!!!!!!! Still haven't felt the baby move yet and I'm starting to panic. My friend at work is 3 weeks ahead of me and she felt it at 16 weeks... Y haven't I felt it yet.. why? Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice would be fab. Find out the sex of the baby 21st April (not long now)

Tuesday 8th April

Had a few shooting pains today and was worried but after talking to all u guys I feel happier now so thank you. However I would just like to add.. I feel MASSIVE today... ha ha. p.s def feeling my little baby tap now its a lovely feeling.

Monday 21st April

I had my scan today and found out it was a BOY!! woo hoo, so happy as that is what ben and I wanted. It was the best feeling in the world, all measurements were perfect and I cried... He was trying to put his foot in his mouth. I love him so much.. my little boy x

Tuesday 20th May

So I haven't updated this for ages..... We have booked the 4d scan... WOO HOO! Its on the 21st June, so I will get to say what my beautiful baby boy will look like, hopefully the spitting image of his gorgeous dad he he. I have a mid wife appt on Thur.. haven't seen her for 9 weeks so really looking forward to listening to the heartbeat and having a general check up. Weighed myself the other day, not a good idea, I have put on 9lbs so far.. uh oh. Never mind 15 weeks left it can only increase. Finally my bump looks like a proper bump and people are saying I am blooming. I love my bump I find myself rubbing it every five minutes. 25 weeks and counting.

Thursday 22nd May

Had my 25 week check up today. All well in the life of Alfie. I am growing fine and BP all good, urine great... and have put on 7lbs which apparently is very good at this stage.. Did find out however that the placenta is between the baby and me therefore cushioning the movements. Would explain alot of the different strengths of movements I have.. they haven't got any stronger and I was wondering the reason, now I know... He's hiding. Heart beat was 152 today so good and strong. I'm very happy x

Sunday 8th June

Why do I always worry about everything, I hate it!!! Have another midwife appt on Thurs, why i'm worried I do not know. Anyone else get these feelings?

Thursday 12th June

Had 28 week check up today, more blood was taken and think its bruised :( Placenta has moved out of way apparently as he was up front today, which was nice, I could hear his heart nice and strong. Have put on 12lbs now starting to feel like a fatty ha ha! BP and urine fine. They checked where he was laying today and he is ready head down... arghhhhh, i'm measuring 1cm smaller than should be but apparently thats nothing to worry about. Now I have my 4d scan to look forward to on 21st June...

Saturday 21st June

29 weeks and 3 days - Had my 3D scan today, was worth every penny just to see his beautiful face. All measurements were normal apart from his legs.. apparently they are very long. This meant the babies weight is above average around 3.2lbs (at this point should be around 3 she said). So if I go to 40weeks I could be looking at an 8lber.. all arms and legs HA HA! He was so cute tho... We think he has my nose, and he definately has my big toe ha ha. He also had the cutest little cheeks. For me, this has made it all the more real and I'm feeling so excited, I can't wait to buy him stuff, as I haven't even started. I want him in my arms now!!

Friday 4th July

31 weeks and 2 days today - Had a midwife appt and all is well. Iron, urine and bloodpressure is fine. Checked where he was today and Alfie is very low down, head down ready, but not engaged phew! I have put on a stone, 14lbs now. my pubic bone is really hurting too, midwife said that was due to how low he is and the pressure. Belly measuring exactly where should be.. yes!

Actually, you would be surprised what people will do with pictures. That "Lily" girl who was on here and kept lying about being pregnant and losing her babies...she had pics of OTHER WOMEN'S BELLIES on her page!!! There was another woman on here posting pics of ANOTHER member's baby and trying to pass it off as her own! My location and name are up on my page, some people on here know the town I live in, if someone with bad intentions had a face to put with the location...it wouldn't be hard to find me. There was just a pregnant woman who was killed and her uterus cut open by a "friend " she recently met. She took the baby and tried to pass it off as her own. I don't trust people. My belly looks big and round, you'll just have to trust me

My hubby won't allow me to post pics of our family, I can't have myspace, either. There are crazies out there and he doesn't want to take chances. I MIGHT be able to talk him into posting one of me with our new baby when she comes...we'll see!!!

I'm glad they aren't so strong, I was worried about you going into labor! Isn't a stone just 14 lbs??? That isn't bad at all! My baby never gets hiccups!

We are both doing good, she likes to run marathons in there...but I think she's sleeping right now. I just finished my lunch, so she will probably wake up in a bit and start kicking up a storm

I'm just so excited for her to come, I can't take it anymore!

Hi, sweetie! If you are having severe period like cramping you should go to the hospital! I had a few days of crampiness but it was not like you are describing. That is a sign of preterm labor. Please go in and get checked ASAP. Let me know what you find out!

sounds like a big company. thats great ur bf owns his own company that must be nice. I know it is really young. we aren't doing daycare ( nursery). it is so expensive over here it's rediculous for infants they pay around $400-600 a week sometimes more depending on where u go. we get a small discount because of our company but I think it's only like 15% at most. the goverment gives what they call family leave and because we work for the same employer we have to share the 6 weeks. he has been saving his vacation instead and the family leave i don't think is paid.

how you getting on with feeling him move now, i can actually see arms, legs, fett and hands, when i lie on my side in bed i out my hand between my tummy and the mattress and i can feel a little eperson bobbing about in there, its kinda wierd actually i dont know if i like it or no

no vomitting huh? I sometimes thought the nausea was worse then the vommiting just ucz at leats u would feel better for alittle while afetr u got sick. of course with vommiting u get the nasty puke smell and I got broken blood vessels in my eyes and face but ya. I'm glad It doesn't happen everyday now though

that sounds like a good job.. being a manager though u probably have to listen to alot of whinning and annoying people. your so young to be a manager u must a hard worker with goals. what do u breakdown? I like to cook and I haven't done much of it while I have been pregnant. I'm just too tired and the heat from cooking makes me nausous and uncomfortable so I totally understand. actually I hear your guys maternity leave is better. It varies slightly depending on who u work for but not much. We only get 6 weeks maternity leave and it isn't paid but u can claim disability which is about 80% of your wages and then you get 6 weeks family leave which is a goverment law and this isn't paid either. they are just saying hey u can have some time off and we won't fire u..lol

really sucks. I wish I could be a stay at home mom but we can't afford it. what does ur bf do? does he work for the same co? my hubby and I both work for boeing.

Whats the next check up 34 weeks? yeah thats about right i have to wait 2 weeks now till my next check up its gonna feel like a long time waiting i think

corse we will stay in touch, who know we might even do it again (some day) and it woudl be cool to watch your little Alfie and our little Connor grow up as there will only be days in it maybe

i hadnt put on any more weight but i've put on 3 st so i'm due to ease off abit lol xxx

were gonna get the internet set up over in Germany!! so we will be able to keep in touch no problems

i dont want to be late either would much rather go a bit before then you wont be waiting everyday for it to happen

It's in the 80's here and humid! It doesn't help that I don't feel well. I'm looking for something else to eat soon, the Raisin Bran didn't fill me up. That's all I ate today, besides breakfast at 9:00am. It's just after 6:00pm here. You get good rest tonight, and I'll talk to you soon!

Yes! Mine was so itchy and speek of the devil it has re-appered when i woke up this morning, so i put my stuff on it and it will hopfully clear up soon. Mine started around 12 weeks and hasent stoped. If i keep up with the cream (use eucerin in-between) then my skins pretty much clear. I was so bad though that it started to bleed to. Try to cream it then rap as much of the rash up so your skin can absorb the cream, it helps alot!

I am very tired, too...I just took a 3 hour nap! I'm not feeling very well today.

Some people love to nurse, some people don't want to try, and others, like me, have tried and not had great success. It's ok to do whatever works for you. But I found that it is much easier to bottle feed for me. You'll know just what is right for you
