Hi Everyone. My name is Cristal and I am 21 years old and had my first baby, Bradley, in July. I have two step children (5, and 7) who live with me and my fiance full time as their birth mother walked out on them. We are a very close family, and they call me mommy not because they were told too, but because they chose too. I found this website when I was pregnant and have met so many wonderful people throughout pregnancy and in the babies section. Hope everyone meets as many great people as I have!! :)

hi, i read your question, and i am going though the exact same thing!
my bub will be 13 weeks on sunday, and he feeds every 2 or so hour during the day, and up until 3 night ago was waking 2-3 times during the night to be fed too!
i asked my doctor on monday, she said that when he needs solids, we will know, he will be unsettled after feeds, and take a huge interest in food we eat. you could always give a little bit of food to see how it went, if it binds him up, dont give him any for another little while.
but i wouldnt put it in a bottle as he is used to milk having a certain consistency, and because it would be slower to come through the teat, they would suck harder and may choke.

Why dont you ask your doctor about cereal? Some doctors might be okay with giving babies cereal (with a spoon) at 3 months. Trust me, I understand. My son still got up every 2 hours at 10 months. He just now will sleep 4.5 hour stretches. He is the worst sleeper ever. Blah. I hope it get betters for you :)
