7/26/07 - 12 weeks today! This is our first baby and we couldn't be happier!!! It has been a rough ride so far for us....Around 5-6 weeks, I started spotting, all seemed good, ultrasound, bloodwork ect. Spotting was light but was on and off until about 9 weeks. Then at 10 weeks I had one small case of it for a day. 12 weeks now and no spotting! Since 6 weeks have been very sick, all day long...mostly vomiting in the morning the rest of the day just feeling like I want to. Started to show about a week ago! I love it:):) Of course my belly mainly looks like like I ate too much...LOL, but I know soon enough that will change.

two days ago we went to hear the heartbeat, 163, wow, it was amazing!!! We recorded it, and I think I have listened to it 100 times:) It's such a beautiful sound. I was so happy when we heard it, and then our Doctor said congratulations.... I have not been feeling as sick for the past two days. I can only hope it is starting to lightened up!!

8/02/2007- 13 weeks today! One more week, then on to the next phase:) My stomach is definately growing, I love it!! I am feeling ok, my sickness is back....it was gone for a few days and I thought yeah, it's gone, but sure enough, back to my affair with Mr. Toliet!!! I did get some meds to help it, but have not taken any yet, I am not a big fan of drugs...So I am waiting it out. It has lighten up, I don't feel yucky all day, which is good. Have been getting headaches, not too bad:) I hope everyone is happy and healthy as can be!

8/27/07- 16 1/2 weeks! So far so good. Have my next Ultrasound Sept. 10th, I hope I will find out the sex!!!! I can't wait! Boy or girl, either way, I will be happy!!!!!

9/10/07- It's a girl!!!!!!!!! We are so happy!!!! She is sooo beautiful!

10/03/07- Feeling good, going for another Ultrasound on 10/8, because my doc said I may have a low lying placenta:( But my little Gabriella looks perfect, thank God! :) Definately getting bigger, and can feel her kicking, it is probably the most beautiful experiance fellign her moving around! I love it!

10/08/07- My placenta moved up!!!! I'm sooo happy:):) She is still a little girl...and she weighs 1.25 pounds, and is about 10 1/2 long. It was a very good last Ultrasound!

11/07/07- Doing great, getting bigger! She kicks alll the time, and I do not get sick of it, I love it! Been a little sore around my stomach, like sore muscles....sleeping has been tough, I get up to pee about every 2 hours, but it is all worth it! I have been trying so hard to eat less and healthier, it's not easy! Cannot wait to meet my little Gabriella. She is going to be so loved and cared for. Most of my nursery is done! It looks so cute. I am going to try and post some pictures.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi i have been getting the same sort of discharge and i went to my midwife yesterday and she said it was the baby doing a little poo in your tummy so it could be that, nothing to worry about tho x x

Welp...the other girl explained it pretty good, lol. It's just kinda blocking your cervix entrance/exit right now. You can search the net for placenta previa to find out more info on it. But more times than not...as the baby gets bigger your placenta moves up naturally. If not...then c-section. I always think it's wise to expect the best, but read up and prepare for what's not ideal, lol. I totally said no c-section for me when I was about 8mths with my first (I'm on my 3rd now) and that was it! However I kept feeling proded to read up on a c-section (I believe it was straight from God). And I'm so glad I did cause my son was stuck in the birth canal and I had to get an emergency c-section. If I had avoided the issue (like I had been and wanted to) I totally would have freaked! But I was calm...a little disappointed...but knew it was best for baby at that point. So do your homework and pray for the best. Like I said, it's very likely it will move up, but be prepared anyhow. You're in my prayers today...Tiffany.

I had a low lying placenta with my last pregnancy. They did an u/s at 32 weeks to make sure that it moved itself up. Sure enough, it did. My doc says they usually do move up on their own. If they don't you have a condition called placenta previa where your baby would have to be delivered via c-section. The docs told me that once again my placenta is lying low so they'll have to keep an eye on it. I pray that it moves because I have 3 other children and a c-section would not work well for me!

Hello...this is my first pregnancy as well, and I was also told I had a low lying placenta. I had some bleeding at 14 weeks so they had me come in for an ultrasound and that is when they discovered the low lying placenta. I was told that it wasn't a huge deal, just to refrain from certain activities for 2 weeks or so. Was also told that the placenta my move on it's own over time. I haven't had any other problems, and I go in on Tues the 25th for my 'big' ultrasound and also for them to re-check the placement of the placenta. I wouldn't worry yourself too much about it at this point. Oh, and my the way, we have the same due date. :) Take care!!

thank you for your concerned message... it makes me feel better to know that i am not the only mom-to-be that has gone through a threatened miscarriage. hope everything goes well for you! are you still feeling sick? how many weeks are you now? my doc gave me a prescription of Diclectin and it made a world of difference! i had morning, afternoon, and night sickness; from the moment my feet hit the carpet in the morning. if you dont want the drugs, you can always eat a few crackers before you get out of bed?! worked for me... after i hit 14 weeks it seemed like the sickness died off and my belly 'popped'! have a good day!

I've also been sore all over at time, hips, thighs, breasts. I'm not sure but I think we're all expanding! LOL I also get winded when going up the stairs at times, that's been on and off since I was about 5 or 6 weeks.
