I AM IN MY 7TH MONTH NOW AND I REALLY WISH I WOULD HAVE UPDATED MY PAGE MONTH BY MONTH, SO HERE I AM NOW! I AM FELING VERY TIRED HERE LATELY AND IRRITABLE WITH JUST LITTLE THINGS THAT HAPPEN. EMMA MOVE ALL THE TIME, SHE IS QUIT THE KICKER. MY DOCTOR VISITS HAVE BEEN GREAT AND SHE IS GROWING MORE AND MORE, WE CANT WAIT TO MEET HER, IT SEEMS LIKE TIME HAS GONE BY SO FAST AND THE CLOSER I GET THE LONGER IT TAKES LOL.

SEPTEMBER 3RD- TODAY WAS MY DOCTOR APT AND HE LISTENED TO HER HEARTBEAT AND SAID IT WAS IN THE 140'S WHICH WAS LOWEST IT HAS EVER BEEN!! I WEIGHED 189 AT THIS APT VISIT. HE SAID EVERYTHING IS FINE AND SHE WAS MEASURING THE RIGHT DUE DATE AND HE SAID HE WOULD SEE ME BACK IN 2 WEEKS. MY NEXT APT IS SEPT 17TH AND I GET THE GROUP-B TEST AND THEN AFTER THAT ITS TIME TO CHECK FOR DAILATION!! ;-)

You probably won't feel the baby move until around 18-20 weeks, after 20 weeks you should start to feel the baby move often, but if you have an anterior placenta,(which is a placenta that is on your tummy side not your back) you may find it harder to feel baby as most babies face their placentae, and the kicks will be muffled by that.
You have to remember, that your baby will be moving heaps, there is so much room in there still, it is not until they are big like my baby, that you feel every little movement.
I hope that makes you feel better.

I sure will sweetheart!
No, I am having her in hospital, the midwife works in partnership with the ob from the hospital, he is my LMC, Lead Maternity Carer, as they are known here.
She will be there at the birth, and takes turns at seeing me through the pregnancy with the ob, it is two-way care.
I decided to go to the hospital this time, as I had high bp, and no homebirth midwife would take on someone with high bp as it puts you in the high risk category.

You are sooo correct about the walking, and they say that driving down bumpy roads helps, but it hasn't for me, and I have tried that so many times, hehe.
Walking works, but only when I was already contracting, it just helped move my babies down in a better position, and the contractions became more regular, until I had to give up and come home.
Went for a walk yesterday, and later on, had irregular contractions all night, apart from a few, they lacked the punch that labour contractions have, so I knew it wasn't it.
I don't have that fit of energy beforehand that you always do before birth, I am so wrung out and tired, I suppose being woken several times by my littlest and snoring from my hubby didn't help, I am just soooo ready to have this baby, I will see the midwife tomorrow for my 40 week visit, hopefully she will be able to convince the ob to do something.

I have been having irregular contractions since last night, they have eased off some, with an occasional double whammy, but nothing really happening:(

I said the epidural will be my last option. I just pray I have a quick labor and delivery. I have heard bads things about the epidural and I don't want to take any chances. If I just have to get it, I will pray before,during and after the procedure becuase I don;t want any side effects or complications. How is your back? Has it gotten better?

I am doing well, despite a little pelvic pressure. The baby has her butt in my ribs and it is so uncomfortable. I guess she likes that position because she hasn't moved. Glad you stop by. How is everything going with you and your pregnancy? Have you found out what you are having?

Hi there, I'm doing great. We went to the doctor Tuesday and all is good. My u/s tech said that the baby is 5.4 pounds and measuring a week and half ahead of schedule length wise. We are halfway thru prepared childbirth classes and we have all the nursery furniture so I feel like it's getting close. I have been having braxton hicks contractions quite a bit. My showers are set now for the 7th and 13th of June so I'm hoping I make it closer to my due date cause then my other three children will be out of school for the summer and my oldest will get her driver license on the 30th of this month so she'll be able to help get herself to and from where she needs to be. I will post pictures as soon as I get them. How are you doing?
