Sorry long time no write, work kinda took over there for a bit. How are you doing? We're 4 months now, glad to have got this far :)

I'm feeling great now, no sickness, my tummy is showing a lot, and my boobs aren't as sore as they were. How's your bump and baby coming along?

Hi, It could be the baby that you are feeling. A lot of times it feels like gas or some other stomach issue, then after a while you realize that it was the baby. I noticed that different mothers felt their babies at different times. I was a late feeler. I did not feel my baby until I was into the 20 weeks. I can not remember the exact week, because it happened so gradually.

I recommend when you go back to work, to take care of yourself and take frequent breaks. I have always been an active person, but since getting pregnant I have needed a lot more rest and stress seems to affect me at a greater level than before.

Overall I am doing well, I just feel really big and am looking forward to having this baby. Instead of getting out of bed in the morning, I am rolling out of bed because my belly is so big now.

I am also due on Oct 30 with my first baby. My husband and I cannot wait. We also cannot wait to find out what we're having. Are you going to find out? How is the beginning of your second trimester going? Are you showing yet? How do you feel about possibly having baby on Angel's night or Halloween? I just to chat with other first timers and gather info!

yeh think the seventh month is good,depends how big u are and if u get tired,i would have kept working till then but couldnt cus of bleeds,would have helped to keep my mind of evrything and stop me getting bored,but then havent got long now so keep telling myself that,got a scan thursday check her growth,fingers crossed shel be perfect wieght xx

Hey, My second trimester was the favorite part of my pregnancy. It is when I started to show, but was not carrying to much weight around and also before all of the kicking starts.

In the beginning of my third trimester the kicking was a lot, but it is easier now I think because there is not as much room for the baby to move around.

Mostly I am really excited about having the baby. Now in my 35th week, I am feeling awkward physically, my feet get swollen, and it is hard to sleep through the night because I have to wake up for frequent bathroom breaks. I am tired a lot through the day.

I am looking forward to taking care of a baby because at least then I will be able to get some uninterrupted sleep without feeling like I have to wake up and relieve my bladder.

I would day that the time that you stop working would depend on the type of work that you do. If you have a desk job, or a job where you are sitting down a lot then you can probably go until close to you due date. It is important it you have a desk job to be able to prop up your feet to aid in the circulation of the blood in your feet and legs. If you have a job that requires physical exertion, then you might have to cut down sooner. I think that you will be a good judge of when to stop working depending on how you feel.

I am looking forward to seeing each others baby pictures in the not to distant future.

I hear you with the weather. I just keep hoping that I can have my baby before it starts to get really hot. PA summers can be very hot, especially when you are pregnant.

I do not have a job, but I am a graduate student. Normally I can handle the work load just fine, but being pregnant has been extra challenging--especially with needing the extra sleep. Right now I am at the point of being physically exhausted because it is hard to sleep through the night, I have to keep waking up to go to the bathroom. Some nights I feel great, others I wake up feeling like I could use a lot of extra sleep.

Congrats on starting to show. I loved it when people could see that I was pregnant and not just gaining weight for no reason.

I saw that you are in week 14. I was not feeling movements in week 14 either. Most of the mothers that feel the movements early are mothers that have had babies before and knew what to expect. Initially it feels like gas or something else going on in your stomach, then at some point you realize that it is the baby. I was one of the later ones to feel my baby. i can not remember th exact time but I was well into the 20-weeks. It was somewhere between 22 and 25 weeks. At one point I got concerned about feeling the baby because so many other mothers around the same time as me were feeling there babies sooner, so I made an appointment with my doctor/midwife and they listened to my baby on the fetal doppler to confirm that they could hear a heartbeat and that things were ok. They said that if I ever have any more concerned to make an appointment with them and hear the baby on the doppler. That made me feel better.

Then after about 27 weeks I felt my baby all of the time--to the point where sometimes it hurt. At this point I am almost 35 weeks and the fetal movements are move comfortable. I think it is because there is not as much space for the baby to move around and the kicks are not as hard. Now I notice the movements, but they do not seem as intense.

i had to stop work at 6 weeks as i was so sick and had bleed,but otherwise would have carried on,yeh it does hurt sumtimes,she so huge i can i no wen its feet and things,i felt her at about 18 weeks i fink like proper kick,as didnt no weather the flutters were kicks or not xx

I haven't felt flutters but I swear I feel twitches! I don't know just yet....I'm sure I'll feel something real soon since it's my second pregnancy!

Hey, One thing that I noticed about being pregnant it that it doe take longer to get over flues and sicknesses. Normally, I never have the flu for more than 2-3 days. Being pregnant this winter, I was sick 1.5 weeks. It is really challenging.

aww poor u,bet that was hell,i had sickness for 5 months yuck,but then it does get better but im feeling rough again now as im so huge n my ribs are sore were she keeps kickin me hard x cant wait now though not long xxx

OH it went so good! I was on my birthday so I was excited to get my first u/s. I found out my due date is now on Dec. 6th. And I woke up this morning to a tiny bump. I haven't gained any weight so I know it's all baby. :)

That is great that you do not have a preference, either way you will be happy. I would like to have one of each, but I do not care the order that we have them in. Since we are having a girl this time, I would like a boy next time, but ultimately will be happy with what ever we get.

So, I got this Gender Prediction Test today and it's supp. to be 90% accurate! You should DEF get one! I got it at HEB grocery store. I'm going to do mine first thing in the morning! I'll def let you know what it says!!
