Hi everyone! My name is Kristin and i am so excited to be pregnant with my first child. My husband, Lance and i have been married for almost four years. Although we have no idea what we're doing and what to expect, everyday is bringing us closer to holding our little one. I'm feeling pretty good too. The second trimester has been great to me. Not long until i find out what i'm having. I can't wait to start shopping.

I'm so excited because not only is today my 4th Anniversary but i also found out this week that i'm having a baby girl. There for a while i really thought i was having a boy but as the u/s appointment neared i started to feel that maybe my baby was a girl. Boy was i right. She was so sweet too. My little angel slept for most of the u/s but occationally she flung her little arms around and kicked her legs out. My husband and i were trying to get a look at her face but she kept covering herself with her arms. When she finally did move her arms she gave us the sweetest yawn we'd ever seen. After the u/s my husband and i celebrated by purchasing a few baby girl outfits. One of them says, "mommy's sweetie" and the other says, "daddy's little princess". So cute. I can't wait to see her again. Shes quite active now too. Not so much during the days but at night she kicks my butt. Maybe we have a future soccer star on our hands. I can't wait to see my sweet angel again.

Welp, i'm 34 weeks today!!! Ugh...i really feel it too. Not only am i getting bigger, i'm sore and tired all the time. Its all worth it though. No matter what a pain this last trimester has been so far, i'd do it all again for her. I'm getting crazy excited yet really nervous too. I wanna meet Cadence so bad but i have to get through the delivery first and thats what scares me. This is my first child so i have no idea what to expect. This whole pregnancy has been such an amazing and new experience. I'll just have to look at the delivery the same way. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and thats holding Cadence in my arms.

Yesterday Cadence turned 4 weeks! I can't believe how fast this first month went. She is so precious to me. This first month was hard but things are getting better. I am really getting to know her. I've learned her dislikes and her likes and its getting so much easier to soothe her when shes upset. At first i felt i was going to lose my mind but now i feel like i'm gaining control. Looking back i can't imagine my days without her. Do i miss being pregnant? Um, not really. Sometimes i miss it but i think only for the moments i wish it was quiet. I just love her so much and i'm glad she is finally in my arms. Whats even better is she sleeps throught the night. Can it get any better? I don't think so! She is such a daddy's girl though. I love seeing her and my husband together. And he wanted a boy. Ha!

I haven't updated in such a long time. Cadence is already 6 1/2 months old! Shes getting so big! Its amazing how fast these babies grow. Well as i'm sure most of u already know, Cadence has been a real challenge for me. I once called her the fussiest baby in the world. Its been a tough road but i'm proud to say we are doing great. She still has her moments but what can i say, shes a true Diva! Cadence is a gorgeous, happy, smart, and strong little girl. She sits on her own for a brief amount of time and is in the beginning stages of crawling. Time to start baby proofing the house i guess. She sure does have a funny little personality too. She keeps me and her daddy entertained thats for sure. Cadence is also starting to say mama and baba. Not sure she even knows what shes saying but it sure is cute. Anyways, things are wonderful and we are so happy!
