Hi everyone! My name is Kristin and i am so excited to be pregnant with my first child. My husband, Lance and i have been married for almost four years. Although we have no idea what we're doing and what to expect, everyday is bringing us closer to holding our little one. I'm feeling pretty good too. The second trimester has been great to me. Not long until i find out what i'm having. I can't wait to start shopping.

June 12th,

I'm so excited because not only is today my 4th Anniversary but i also found out this week that i'm having a baby girl. There for a while i really thought i was having a boy but as the u/s appointment neared i started to feel that maybe my baby was a girl. Boy was i right. She was so sweet too. My little angel slept for most of the u/s but occationally she flung her little arms around and kicked her legs out. My husband and i were trying to get a look at her face but she kept covering herself with her arms. When she finally did move her arms she gave us the sweetest yawn we'd ever seen. After the u/s my husband and i celebrated by purchasing a few baby girl outfits. One of them says, "mommy's sweetie" and the other says, "daddy's little princess". So cute. I can't wait to see her again. Shes quite active now too. Not so much during the days but at night she kicks my butt. Maybe we have a future soccer star on our hands. I can't wait to see my sweet angel again.

I'm about 1 1/2 hours from Six Flags. I wish I could go on the rides, I LOVE amusement parks!! Keep an eye on your pain....not to worry you or anything but I'm going to be honest from my experince, now you could be different but this was me......around 28 weeks or so with both my kids I got the kind of pains you were describing. They started in my back or my belly and went around to either my back or belly. They are REAL contractions. You need to make sure they aren't coming regularly. By the time I called the dr. with my son I was already 3 cm dialated and had to be hospitalized for a week. He never came early (I delivered him at 38 weeks) but it was still scary. I'm not trying to scare you just being honest. I don't want you to ignore them and go through what I did with both my kids.

Both my kids did kick me so hard that it made me feel sick, I know how that feels. They also kicked me so hard that I wanted to just fall over. It was horrible sometimes. I haven't felt this one yet which is strange b/c I'm 18 weeks but my dr. said that because my daughter was only 4 months when I got pregnant again that my uterus was still enlarged so I probably won't feel the baby move much at all this pregnancy b/c my uterus will always be much bigger then the baby needs. I can deal with that for sure!!

Ha ha ha, I have days where Anastasia kicks me all day and then others (like today) where she is perfectly still. I have the weirdest feeling its like my lungs are bruised. I think its just my uterus is pushing up against everything but it hurts.
As for chikd birthm they have drugs if it gets too bad for you but my best friend said she had period pains worse and she is a real sook.

Yes. We have to wait a year because HCG can cause problems detecting a regrowth of the tumor. It is very fast spreading and if not detected can be extremely dangerous. So I guess its 10 more months and then we'll be clear of the danger.

I love movement. It is always so reassuring. I felt movement three times before the miscarriage and D&C. I will always remember those little flutters!

So glad that Cadence is doing well.Must have hurt when he jumped on you. My belly was always so tender.

Anyway have a great night and get lots of much needed rest. Thanks for keeping in touch. It's nice to have someone to talk to right now since Hubby is gone with the Army. Night, Joy

Congrats! Ya, thought I was having a girl for the longest time, it just felt like one, but then found out we're having a boy ;) I am happy either way of course. Like the name, we are going with Killian Thomas Olson, it's Irish. Have stranger been coming up to you yet, it's so funny always happens at the grocery store

Good point about meeting other pregnant women. I know a few other girls I work with that are pregnant, but they are a few months head of me and a few months behind me, no one at about the same time, but it is still nice to hear the advice from those ahead of me. I can see forgetting some of that too. All we will probably be able to think about is - get the baby out of me now when the time comes.

I have been online all day lookin at this site and looking at baby stuff and dreaming.. I just can't help myself.

Lukas is bigger then what he is suppose to be.. like a 1.5 lbs bigger and he is laying left to right, and he pulled a legament because he's soo big and he won't go head down, if he goes head down he won't be on my legaments as much so I won't hurt as much... He's fat, what can I say haha

I'm sure there are "pregnancy" groups somewhere where you can meet other pregnant women. Or you can take the drive to Rochester and come hang out with me LOL.

It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day today and I'm excited. The last couple of days have been really hot but I'm sure you know that.

Thanks so much for your encouragement. I want another baby so bad. In fact I have been tempted to quit the birth control so many times. But then I think of my five little sweethearts and the risk of cancer if I got pregnant before the year is up and I make myself keep taking it. My kiddies need their mommy.

I'm the same. Tim relies on me to remember but I just cant at the moment. I would imagine going through something like Iraq would make you have a selective memory, the human brain has an amazing way to block out things especially traumatic things but its not as easy to be selective on what you do and dont forget. Your very blessed to have not only him home but your baby, a lot of women cant say the same hey..

Yea I guess maybe I should mention it I really didn't think anything of it cuz today is the first day I have really felt like that. I dunno maybe I just need to relax I have been going all day cleaning and organizing things. I am ready for a bed! So how do you make friends on this thing anyways?? Do people just add you?

Yeah, I feel a little clueless about some things too. My husbands gone through this before but I've never had any babies so this is all new to me. None of these classes offered through my hospital are free. If they were I'd probably just go ahead and do it. I have the What to Expect When You are Expecting book but I'm not sure how much is covered on breathing or anything like that in there. I think there is a chapter on labor so maybe I should just read ahead.

Hey you! I'm doing good, how are you doing?? Baby is doing good, just being oh like his father, having an attitude already. He won't go head down.. I've had many appts. where they try putting him head down but he just moves back to his original position.. How is little Cadence doing?? Hope everything is going good with you!
