Hi everyone! My name is Kristin and i am so excited to be pregnant with my first child. My husband, Lance and i have been married for almost four years. Although we have no idea what we're doing and what to expect, everyday is bringing us closer to holding our little one. I'm feeling pretty good too. The second trimester has been great to me. Not long until i find out what i'm having. I can't wait to start shopping.

June 12th,

I'm so excited because not only is today my 4th Anniversary but i also found out this week that i'm having a baby girl. There for a while i really thought i was having a boy but as the u/s appointment neared i started to feel that maybe my baby was a girl. Boy was i right. She was so sweet too. My little angel slept for most of the u/s but occationally she flung her little arms around and kicked her legs out. My husband and i were trying to get a look at her face but she kept covering herself with her arms. When she finally did move her arms she gave us the sweetest yawn we'd ever seen. After the u/s my husband and i celebrated by purchasing a few baby girl outfits. One of them says, "mommy's sweetie" and the other says, "daddy's little princess". So cute. I can't wait to see her again. Shes quite active now too. Not so much during the days but at night she kicks my butt. Maybe we have a future soccer star on our hands. I can't wait to see my sweet angel again.

On my last appt they sent home this orange drink and a piece of paper with instructions. The sheet of paper tells me to drink the drink 45 min before my appt time and they will take the blood exactly 1 hour after I drank the drink. It says I can eat or drink anything before I drink the beverage but once I drink it, I'm not allowed to eat anything, drink anything, or chew gum until my blood is drawn...I'm going to ask my doctor about the pressure feeling. Did you ask your doctor about that real contraction you had? Is that pretty normal?

Well, everythign is A okay!! The doc said that my placenta has already moved up and there doesn't look like there is anything to worry about. I just have to go get another US in my third trimester. I am gonna put some new pics up here in a bit. Oh and it is definately a boy!! And he weighs 1 lb!!

You can't really tell other then you will be able to breathe so much better once she is head down.

HAHAHA Bring home baby!! Got to love those shows.. I have the belly band also, but I have found that my jeans still fit but my pants still fall off hahaha its ghetto, I don't want to buy maternity jeans but i cracked down (only because Old Navy was having a sale) and got some.. we will see how I like them.. I can't wait to wear my Maternity shirts after I have him, they will be big and conffy to sleep in at night.. I tried to wear one of my reg. shirts yesterday hahahah I should of taken a picture of it, it didn't even fit over my belly I went out and check the mail in that shirt yesterday, my husband was soo red in the face, my neighbors most likely think I'm ghetto!!

Yes, I agree, when I watch the baby shows I'm like aww babies, and then before you know it your another week along.. but now all I do is get up, go to work, come home eat and go to bed, I don't have time to watch tv and it seems like time is going by soo slow!!!

No I agree with you, how do they know?? I'm not home in time to watch a baby story any more :( But I love that show.. and the It's your Birthday one.. o I love little babies.. Wait until you get kicked in the ribs.. it hurts so bad... you almost feel like you have been knocked out.. it sucks, but well worth it

I dunno..I suppose I will make that decision after I get my results tomorrow. Cuz if my placenta is under my uterus I will have to have a C-section. But, I too wanted to have my baby natural. I will just be happy as long as he is healthy!! So, I dunno yet. I know what you mean..we want to try and move before the baby comes to a bigger place so that should be fun.

I hope it is only one tube too! I'll find out here in a few days. My doctor will finally be back from maternity leave when I have my appointment on Friday. I've been seeing her nurse, which she is really nice too, but it will also be nice to have my own doctor back. I have some questions that I need to ask her like what Braxton Hicks contractions feel like. Every now and then I get a feeling of a lot of pressure low in my uterus, but then it goes away so I'm not sure if that is one of those or just the baby resting in a strange place.

I wonder if we will feel it or what.. My DR. was telling me since Lukas is so big that he's scared that he won't go head down, at 22.5 weeks they tried to put him head down but he didn't stay, he went right back into his favorite position... Then he was telling me I might have to have a C-Section because if he's not going head down then he won't go head down at all... It scared me but I asked my sister (who's a DR. I should of just asked her in the 1st place) and she was asking her friend (whos and L&D DR) that if that was true.. she said no they can go head down at the very last min. but we will know because of the fact our tummy will look different.. right now we are just laying low and showing low but once they go head down we will look higher up.. all I know is he's been kicking by my right ribs today and it hurts!!!

It took me a whole 18 hours to stop vomiting and I couldnt even keep water down, poor Anastasia didnt have a good day with it, every time I threw up the contractions of my stomach squashed her, she kicked me all day the poor little thing. I thought they were getting short on room as well but apparently not. She flips around all the time

No Lukas doesn't really roll around.. he likes to stay in one position but he kicks like crazy... He's laying left to right and he likes it there.. he's getting a little top heavy so his head is starting to go down hahaha and when he trys to stretch you see the left side and the right side of my belly just go out then it goes back in... poor babies, they have no room now :(

Hi Kristen, I read your comment on the 26 week page and I am the same way. Whenever I am on my left, Lia kicks constantly and I feel like you. Maybe she does not like that position. So I turn and she's better. Just thought I'd let you know, you are not alone.

LMAO.!!! I don't think I have dreamt of having one of my dogs but when I was really sick I dreamt of food.. like my grandma's mac & cheese and wierd stuff like that. Well, at least yours are human now.. I would like to upgrade from not making it to delivery to giving birth to a dog at least then I made it to delivery.. lol

i just read urcomment, thats so funny i was contemplating on naming the baby cadence. but i was gonna spell it kaydence, or kadence. i thought it was kind of a unique name. how funny. i have decided against it though, so dont worry, ur baby will have the name by itself, at least from this forum..lol. it sucks when that happens. i think i am naming the baby Kai. pronounced Kye. kind of like Guy but with a K instead of a G. i havent decided yet. well hope everything is going good for u, we are kind of almost there....lol

Yea I know and I keep having weird dreams cuz I am all paranoid that something is going to happen. So, I think my fears come out in my dreams.. I keep dreaming that bad things happen to my little guy before I give birth. Crazy dreams just make me more paranoid. lol

You think they would test for this eariler but maybe there is some reason that they can't. Or maybe if they tested us eariler they'd just have to retest us again now because things change. They did take a lot of blood in the beginning, but they tested a lot of stuff too. I doubt well have to give more than tube for the glucose test, but I'm not really sure. Guess we'll find out.

Brian told me the other day that he could carry a baby and it doesn't look that hard.. I about craped my pants.. I was like well, and you wonder why I spend the $$ to go get the prenatal massages and and my feet done and everything, its hard work.. he just laughed at me.. hhahah what an ass!!

haha I called Brian into the bathroom when I was in the shower and he thought he was going to get lucky because my leg is all hanging out of the shower and he's like yessss.. what... hhahah I was cracking up, then I broke his ego and told him to shave my legs haha I haven't got him to finish them though hahaha He will start shaving my legs and then stop, saying its taking to long and its boring hahaha Poor Husbands
