Hi everyone! My name is Kristin and i am so excited to be pregnant with my first child. My husband, Lance and i have been married for almost four years. Although we have no idea what we're doing and what to expect, everyday is bringing us closer to holding our little one. I'm feeling pretty good too. The second trimester has been great to me. Not long until i find out what i'm having. I can't wait to start shopping.

June 12th,

I'm so excited because not only is today my 4th Anniversary but i also found out this week that i'm having a baby girl. There for a while i really thought i was having a boy but as the u/s appointment neared i started to feel that maybe my baby was a girl. Boy was i right. She was so sweet too. My little angel slept for most of the u/s but occationally she flung her little arms around and kicked her legs out. My husband and i were trying to get a look at her face but she kept covering herself with her arms. When she finally did move her arms she gave us the sweetest yawn we'd ever seen. After the u/s my husband and i celebrated by purchasing a few baby girl outfits. One of them says, "mommy's sweetie" and the other says, "daddy's little princess". So cute. I can't wait to see her again. Shes quite active now too. Not so much during the days but at night she kicks my butt. Maybe we have a future soccer star on our hands. I can't wait to see my sweet angel again.

Hey, it's nice hearing from you! Yes, your world does kinda go down hill once you hear how much weight you have gained.. I lost some weight at the beg. from being so sick so I'm still under by 2 lbs but my doctor is on my ass saying I need to gain a little more weight, eh we will see.. I have the same thoughts as you do, as long as Lukas is ok and healthy then I'm not worried about it.. I just can't wait until afterwords when I can start running again!!! Oh, and when I can shave my own legs haha Poor husband!

Hey! I have been feeling Great. Well, besides overreacting half the time over silly comments...I guess that is what goes with pregnancy. I still don't feel too much movement..I feel him a couple of times a day but not a lot of kicking yet. Somedays I just wish he would move more but then I am sure I will regret that. I go Wed for my 3D ultrasound!!

Went to our 26 check up yesterday. Baby is doing great, he is so active he won't stop wiggling in there. I love feeling him! Anways we are scheduled to give birth by c-section on hubby's birthday. He is so excited to share his day with his son.

Yes, that's the test. I don't like any kind of blood draw, so I'm not looking forward to that. Yeah, time probably will slow down during the 3rd trimester. Although, having all those doctor's appointments might make it go a little quicker.

I am doing good! I just barely work up cuz I didn't sleep so well last night. Not sure why... Oh yea my doctor called me yesterday and told me that I had to go to a specialist to get a 3d ultra sound cuz it appeared that my placenta was too low and they want to double check everything. So, I am here waiting for a call from my Doc so I know when my appointment is. I hope that they are just wrong and couldn't tell with the other kind of US they did. I never make any brownies cuz I end up throwing them away cuz I am the only one who eats them.. I will have to go buy one!! tee hee

I went into preterm labor with both of my kids so this is pretty normal for me. I just hope im not going to go into labor even earlier with this one. I can't stand being in the hospital for weeks. It's annoying after you have a baby to be there when all you want to do is go home but it's even worse when you're there and pregnant and trying to stay that way.

I'm sure it's nothing but i'm still going to call. I don't want anything to happen to my little munchkin!

Yeah, I agree. I cant wait to meet my little one and at least be able to see everything is ok unlike now where when she doesnt kick me for a while I panic.

That's not alot at all. I'm 19 weeks and i've gained 10 pounds already. You should have already gained around 22 or so. You are doing great.

It was muggy and nasty all day here today too. We got ALOT of ran over the weekend and also today.

I've been having contractions today for some reason. I'm going to give the doc a call tomorrow b/c I know that I wasn't dehydrated.

Hey, It is so worth everything what we go through during the pregnancy. When I was pregnant I felt the kicks harder in about weeks 23-30. When I got into the the upper 30 weeks there was not as much room to move around in my uterus so the kicks were not as hard, but I still felt her. It was the most amazing feeling to already be developing a relationship with my baby before I met her.
I like the new picture that you put of you and your husband. The two of you look very happy and very cool.
I am glad that you enjoy being pregnant. I loved it when total strangers would approach me and ask me when my due date was. It is amazing. Now I am enjoying the attention, because everyone wants to see my baby. People love babies. I am glad that everything is going so well in your pregnancy. I am looking forward to seeing pictures of Cadence.

Hey, I totally know the feeling. I always needed more rest in my pregnancy. I was doing well until about the end of my third trimester. I went to 40 weeks and 2 days. At that point I felt like I had been pregnant forever, and was very physically uncomfortable. And of course, giving birth was challenging but we made it through. It is all so 100% worth it in the end to get our beautiful babies. Every time I look at my daughter I think about how lucky I feel to have her.

I am totally out of breath just sitting on the couch watching TV, I hear its normal and a lot of people are the same at this stage and until the end. 16 pounds sounds ok to me. its 7.2 kgs and we are supposed to gain about 9 kgs for the whole pregnancy, not sure on the conversion back. Most of my weight is boobs ha ha ha

I was the same way. I was always stressing about my daughter Elsa until I held her for the first time in my arms and saw for sure that I have a healthy baby and that everything was ok. Now I still think about her all of the time, but most of my thoughts are how much I love her. I think that worrying is totally normal--especially when it is something as important as this. What I tries to think about was that most pregnancies are healthy and turn out fine. I am looking forward to seeing the first pictures of Cadence. Take care.

That's great to hear everything went well with your doctor's appt. That is really cool you got a surprise u/s too! I have my next appt. at 28 weeks and they are doing the glucose testing with me then. It really seems like 2nd trimester has flown. I cannot believe we are almost at the 3rd.

I've been good. I figured it was dehydration due to the long ride but it's better to be safe then sorry when it comes to pregnancy!! Glad that Cadence is doing well and so are you!

I'm exhausted today and it's hot and gross outside! Sure it's like that where you are too!

Wow, how cool, your so lucky to have gotten to see her again. I'm really pleased all is going well with you and her, we are the same old over here. Anastasia is well, she kicks me often some days and others not so often and I get this horrible feeling in my chest which might be too much acid in my belly but I suspect it is more the growing of my uterus pushing my organs aside.
Cant wait to see the latest pic of Cadence. Are you going to have a 3D scan done? I'm looking for somewhere to have one done. I cant get over in 15 weeks or so we are going to be Mums.
